Daisuke Sekimoto defends the Zero1 Heavyweight Title.

Sato is a disgusting wrestler, he looks horrible, is stiff as fuck and the noises he makes when he hits or gets hit are nauseating. This makes him captivating to watch you cannot look away.

This match was what you would want from these two it was stiff nasty and all sold very well. There was no kickouts just some stuff back and forth with an escalation and struggle as the match went on. The only negative would be that they did start very slow and didn't do much for me, beyond that it was a really good match and a great encapsulation of zero 1 and it makes me sad that they barely ever make tape. **** Another great match from the first week of January in Japan.

Underdog Sekimoto is the best. So much raw energy in his body, his facial expressions, his screams. He was fantastic. Sato's forearms in this match were pure filth. So stiff, so much power and meanness behind them. His kicks too. Great match. Both stiff each other with striking with Sato just being that much better in that regard but Sekimoto didn't let that stop him find a way to get the win. A simple struggle to get the win, great match. ****

Exactly how you would expect a match between Sekimoto and Sato to go down. Just a physical match up with lots and lots of strikes. A perfectly good match between a world class wrestlers and a very underrated striker. Nothing spectacular here, but that isn't to say a simple and short burst of a match isn't welcome, ****.

A back and forth "beat the fukk out of each other" 15 minute match. Not much more to it, pretty damn dope. Some of the exchanges were absolutely brutal. Sato did not give one single fuck about Daisuke's well being. Good crowd too.

I love how Sekimoto had this match and the next night he stole the show with Hama. He's the best.
