kjh
He did fuck up there, and he needs to find a healthier way to deal with his anger, but Taylor should've talked to him about it first. Sorry Bix, but I have to disagree. He fucked up by the first sentence of the third paragraph. He fucked up by even sending an email to Terry Taylor with such bile. He should know by now how the wrestling business works. Terry Taylor is friends with Vince Russo and I believe was one of the people who went to bat for him to help him get his script writing job back. That this email would be passed around and used to disparage Cornette as being legitimately crazy was inevitable. Moreover, it's also inevitably going to be used to disparage any sane vocal critics of Vince Russo and TNA Wrestling's current direction, like Dave Meltzer, Bryan Alvarez, Wade Keller and Bruce Mitchell. This is only going to add to Vince Russo's persecution complex and Dixie Carter's belief that everyone is unfairly out to get him. If he really wants Vince Russo to lose his job for the good of the wrestling business, then he went about it in the worst way possible. Thanks a lot, Corny! Â Let me be more clear there: Cornette absolutely fucked up. Taylor was right for going to management. To keep things from blowing up even worse, Taylor could have at least called Cornette at some point to say something to the effect of "You sent that to my work email account, which TNA is able to read, and you know Vince is my friend. If I don't report it as I'm supposed to, I could get in a lot of trouble with the company and maybe even legally, as well as damage my friendship with Vince. Please be more careful in the future." Just an explanation for why he had to do it.
MikeCampbell
The Cornette/TNA drama has turned into the third or fourth round of Cornette vs. Bischoff. Â Bischoff's comments: Â Jim needs psychological help. I know it must be tough getting up in the morning and looking at yourself in the mirror and realizing you look like 240 pounds of sausage stuffed in a 12 ounce polyester bag....but Jim needs to move on. The television business passed him by many Big Macs ago." Â "Kevin, threatening to kill someone, posting confidential corporate information, and posting terroristic threats doesn't make you a "genius" any more than criticizing the efforts/success of others when they realize that you have nothing to offer. Jim is a washed up, has been IWC icon to the 5% of the people that makes up a television audience. Cornette's reply. Â It WAS real tough to look at myself in the mirror while working for the same company as Vince Russo, but with that out of my life I believe I am a darn good-looking guy. Â I recently went on a low-carb diet, and with the advent of Sprite Zero I'm down to 231 pounds. Â Everyone in the world except Easy E knows I don't eat Big Macs, they're far inferior to Wendy's Triple Cheeses. Â The only confidential corporate information yet to be revealed about TNA is how much Eric and Hogan soaked Dixie for when they played her, and whether Jason Hervey is getting Eric's Midget Wrestling title. Â Lastly, I never criticized TNA's efforts or success since there's no evidence they have ever legitimately made the former or achieved the latter. I think Eric is jealous of the fact that I don't have to do as he does and continue to work alongside and/or kiss the ass of people who have sued him, blamed him for the death of WCW, or taken him down in a locker room and roughed him up with no rebuttal. That kind of thing can make you bitter, Eric, perhaps counseling could help. Â Don't knock the IWC, E, keep producing programs like Impact and that "5%" will look like the ratings for the moon landing.
rovert
So what do think they will do for Raw? Replay Wrestlemania? Replay the Chris Benoit tribute show? Could they tape in the UK with SKY's help? Â Vince McMahon must be super raging at this.
jdw
Taping might be hard because production is here. It might be hard to sub in another production crew, even Sky. Â My guess would be a highlight show. Running Mania might be hard on the DVD sales. But... maybe a Best Of Shawn show, capped by airing Shawn-Taker from this year. They already have a lot of stuff easily on hand because of the various Shawn DVD's. Perhap fly Shawn in to do some new intros/exists from the matches with say Cole or someone else. Let him pick his favorite match for the spot before the Taker match. Â Might not do the ratings that a new show does. But cheap to produce. Probably could get Shawn to fly out for reasonable amount (or fly Cole and a small camera team down to shoot in his home). Not difficult for the WWE to slap together on Sunday and Monday. Â Smackdown has until Friday when they could run live if everyone gets back in the US by that point. But they also could ponder putting together a "special" during the week if things look tough. rovert
Some people are saying that a chartered plane could fly low enough to get them home. Dont know if that is true or even if you can get chartered trans atlantic.  Still the story provides for fun speculation: http://www.cagesideseats.com/2010/4/17/142...own-tapings-are  If this the carny 1980s they would pass off matches from three months ago as new.  A scenario like this makes you wonder what contingency plans WWE has and hasnt being a massive corporaton. Dan
I was listening to Hogan radio show, and he mentions something about Curt Hennig's death that sounded new. He said Jimmy Hart put Curt in a hotel away from the boys. And some unnamed wrestlers came by with "a ton" of coke and somas. We know how accurate Hogan is, but he spent a few minutes recounting other wrestler deaths and they sounded more-or-less correct (e.g. Adonis, Kerry VE, Awesome, Sherri) Â I looked up the WON report and found: Â "There has been a police investigation into Hennig's death centering on the belief that the scene of the crime was tampered with before police were called, as well as based on attempting to find who supplied the cocaine for his death. Hennig had arrived in Tampa the night before."
Guest Talon
So what RAW guys were not on the tour?  it looks like on the tour we had  Christian, William Regal, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, Chavo Guerrero, Hornswoggle, Chris Masters, Sheamus, Maryse, Eve, Kelly Kelly, ShoMiz, Mark Henry, MVP, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, John Cena & Batista.  So the RAW crew that *should* make TV this week are  Alicia Fox, Carlito, The Bellas, Cody Rhodes, Gail Kim, Jillian, Katie Lea, Primo, Santino Marella, Triple H, Vladimir Kozlov, Yoshi Tatsu and Zack Ryder  so it's them + the NXT guys + Smackdown + Bret Hart  So I'm guessing the main event of RAW will be something like Triple H vs Swagger or Triple H vs Jericho or Triple H/Edge vs Swagger/Jericho or something to that degree.  I know Undertaker is on his post-wrestlemania vacation but maybe they'll bring him in to pop the ratings or something like that. sek69
Are they going to have some kind of uplink to a studio for the guys still stuck?
