Fun show with a great format.

Like seeing the Youngbloods get some attention.

The 4 men left in the Missouri Heavyweight Title Tourny all would make great champs!

Good set of first round matches. I really liked that Savage/Bruiser match up. Savage will be a major deal here.

Cool seeing Butch Reed as a huge star in the game. His next match with Savage should be a good one.

Windham vs. Duggan will be very interesting.

Oh man Funk challenges Magnum for the title! Big money there.

Angle Developments:

Bobo Brazil was in attendance and presented Randy Savage with the Missouri Heavyweight Title belt after the main event. Savage took the belt and got in Bobo's face afterwards. Bobo went to walk away and Savage had more words and then shoved Bobo. Bobo shoved Savage back and they stared each other down for a really long time. Security hit the ring and kept the two men apart as they continued the stare down.

The Fabulous Ones picked up the victory over the Von Erichs when Stan Lane used a cane on Mike Von Erich. After the match the Fabulous Ones put a beating on the Von Erichs for good measure.

Terry Funk got on the house mic after the main event and pointed at the injured Magnum TA and told the fans in attendance to clap for their World Champion. Funk told Magnum that this match was just a warning. He is going to take that title but he wants Magnum TA to live with the fear and uncertainty of when that loss will be.

It was announced that Wrestling at the Chase will be starting on TV this coming week.

St. Louis gave their fans a great show here!

Seems like the Fab Ones wanted to prove something here... hopefully the Harts and Midnight Express where paying attention

Savage should make a good first champion!  All of the matches in that tournament could have gone either way.... made it a fun read.

Funk has been going wild all over the NWA of late!

Wrestling At The Chase March/April TV Report:

Notable Matches:

Missouri Heavyweight Champion Macho Man Randy Savage defeated Ricky Gibson

NWA North American Tag Team Title Match: Fabulous Ones (c) defeated Lance and Mike Von Erich by DQ

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. One Man Gang - Double DQ

The Angles:

Bobo Brazil and "Macho Man" Randy Savage got into an altercation on the first episode. Bobo Brazil came out for guest commentary and Savage got into his face after coming out and defeating Pat Rose in a match. Bobo tried to brush Savage off but he wasn't having any of it. Bobo finally had enough an decked Savage. The next week Bobo came out and said that he was just here to do Sam Muchnick a favor and present the title and do some work on commentary. Brazil states that he doesn't understand what Savage's problem is. Savage retorted the next week stating that he is the greatest of all time. That the Missouri Heavyweight Title is reserved for the best of the best. He wants Bobo Brazil to recognize when he is in the presence of greatness and show the proper respect. Brazil came out during this interview and told Savage that they should settle it in the ring. Savage agreed. The next week Savage attacked Bobo Brazil after he defeated Lord Humongous in a match. Savage nailed Brazil in the head with the title belt and then hit the elbow drop off of the top rope.

Terry Funk was on a total tear during the month. On the debut episode he attacked and hog tied NWA World Heavyweight Champion Magnum TA. The next week he went on an incoherent rant about how much he hated Magnum TA and he didn't even care about the title. Funk then proceeded to beat George South in a match and then hit the Piledriver repeatedly until Magnum TA ran in for the save. The next week Magnum TA talked about how he's defended the belt all over the World and he hasn't seen anyone as unhinged as Terry Funk has been. The next week saw both men get into a pull apart brawl after Terry Funk again won a match against Mike Von Erich and then went to Piledrive him a couple of extra times.

During the week 3 main event with Hacksaw Jim Duggan and One Man Gang, they spilled to the outside and continued to brawl which drew a Double DQ. Both men continued to brawl after the belt and Duggan finally nailed One Man Gang with the 2x4 as he chased him to the back. Duggan marched back out to the announce table and said he wanted Sam Muchnick to give him a No Holds Barred Match with One Man Gang at the next Kiel Auditorium show. Duggan said that he just wants a good old fashioned bar room brawl.

Lance and Mike Von Erich returned the favor to NWA North American Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Ones. During their return match. Mike Von Erich nailed Steve Keirn with a cane which drew the DQ. The Von Erichs put the boots to the Fabs afterwards to make a point. The next week the Von Erichs stated they want everyone in the world of wrestling to know that just because they aren't Kerry or Kevin that they are not pushovers. If the Fabulous Ones want to play games then they are going to fight fire with fire. The Fabulous Ones later did an interview and were amused that the Von Erichs were willing to try and fight back. There was later a contract signing with both teams on TV and the Fabulous Ones attacked the Von Erichs and used their blood to sign the contracts.

Nice quality at the chase.

Enjoying Boob here.  One last run against a wild man is cool.

Funk vs T.A. is top notch.  Anything could happen here!

Fab Ones vs Mike and Lance is interesting as the Fab Ones are acting as the big stars and not respecting Mike and Lance.  Seeing the locals rise up will be a good watch

TV report for May is upcoming. I got hung up on an angle I am doing probably for the June TV and I was so stuck on what I wanted to do that I couldn't think about the current stuff. I still might change what I am doing but I at least have enough of an idea to move forward.
