Demolition has every right to be confident but I wouldn't overlook Norton & Rampage.

Really interesting last two weeks of TV as you are doing a great job of getting everyone excited for the Happening.  

I am enjoying the Gamma-Norman issue and you did a nice job with the promos... "My name is Norman!"  This just makes him look crazy!

WOW... Bossman with the handcuffs on the Col.  Fans would have loved this beat down.  Bossman is a great tweeener that everyone could hate or love depending on his opponent.... and here, they really love him and his heel-like beat down of one of the worst heels in the game.

Barbarian vs Warrior... I am interested to see where this goes as it means so much to the Warriors future in the AWA.  Very interesting choice.  Verne Gagne was so conservative but your AWA has been anything but.  

Can't wait to see who wins the National Tag Team Title... I know who I am rooting for.  

Bad News and Kokina in a wild in-studio brawl.  That would take some big men to break up.  So much excited in these shows.  They would have been money if I was a kid and saw this on TV.  Reminds me a lot of Southern Rasslin instead of the boring WWF I had here in NY.  I recently heard that ESPN's pick for what territory they were going to originally air came down to Vern and the AWA against the Fuller's and Continental.  Not sure if this was true, but I wish they had gone with the wild Southern promotion instead of the tuxedo wearing AWA.  Your AWA is mo much like Georgia, Texas or Alabama and I just love it.  Great job.

Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Tonight, the Mavericks take on the Tribal Nation and the winners will face the Iceman and the Superstar at the Happening in the finals for the AWA National tag team titles. We've got a huge program tonight. AWA World champ Kokina along with Adnan Al-Kassie... 

Somebody frantically runs up to Larry Nelson and says something 

Nelson: Fans, something is going down in the parking lot and we have a cameraman out there right now! 

We cut to the parking lot. The Big Bossman and Col. Debeers are brawling. Bossman hurls Debeers on a car hood. Debeers rolls over and off. Bossman goes around after Debeers but Debeers nails Bossman with a tire iron! Debeers shakes the cobwebs and starts beating on Bossman with the tire iron. Debeers is rushed by security. 

Back to Larry Nelson

Nelson: My goodness! The hatred between those two is at an all time high. I just hope this can get settled in the Bootcamp match at the Happening. (deep breath) Ok, let's just get to the ring. 

 

Rampage and Scott 'Flash' Norton w/Ted Arcidi vs. 3 Local Talents 

This trio gets their shot at the AWA 6-Man titles at the Happening and tonight they're clearly sending a message to Demolition. Rampage put their opponent down with double boots to the face. Norton comes in and finishes things off with a powerslam! They continue the beat down and hurl all of their opponents out of the ring. Arcidi yells into the camera "Demolition! You're dead meat!"

'The Raging Bull' Manny Fernandez vs. Todd Rooney 

Manny's hits the ring in his jeans and red bandana. He tosses the bandana and gets down to business. Manny swings Rooney to the ropes and hits the flying burrito for the win. It's announced that Manny will be in the Happening's battle royal. 

 

Commercial Break 

 

We see Chicky Starr in front of an AWA banner. His head is bandaged up from that beating Colon gave him in Puerto Rico. 

Starr: Colon! This is only the beginning. You and me will meet again at the Happening and this time you will not be walking out. I personally guarantee that! 

 

The Missouri Tiger vs. JT Southern 

Both men hold a countout victory over the other and we hope things get settled tonight. The bell rings and the fight is on. These guys take turns pounding away at each other. The fight gets intense and both men go through the ropes and end up fighting all the way up the aisle resulting in a double countout. Well, nothing resolved but both men will get another crack at each other in the Happening Battle Royal.

'Unpredictable' Dick Slater vs. Neil Jordan 

Slater just beats his opponent down and finishes things off with a Russian Leg Sweep. 

 

Nelson: Dick Slater, I know you have your sights set...

A man wearing a suit and sunglasses walks out and hands Slater an envelope. The man leaves. Slater opens the envelope and looks inside. Slater nods and just walks away leaving a puzzled Larry Nelson.

The Barbarian vs. Clinton Stitch 

Barbarian nearly decapitates his opponent with a clothesline from the top rope to get the win. 

Wait a minute! 

The fans go nuts as the Ultimate Warrior hits the ring! 

Barbarian turns around as Warrior clotheslines him down. Warrior runs in place. Barbarian staggers up as Warrior swings off the ropes and drops Barbarian with a flying shoulder block! Barbarian rolls out of the ring as Warrior shakes the ropes. The place is electric!

The Hangman w/Nell vs. Gary Brimson 

Hangman destroys poor Brimson and easily wins the match with the Hangman's neckbreaker. 

Nell walks over to Larry Nelson. 

Nell: Leo Burke, I want you to pay close attention here. 

Nell gives Hangman the signal. 

Hangman pulls Brimson up and puts him back down with the Heart Punch! 

Moments later, Brimson is stretchered out. 

Nell: Leo Burke, it's real simple. It's time the Hangman puts you out to pasture. You're a poor soul who doesn't know when to peacefully walk away. Fear not because the Hangman will retire you quickly. (looks at Nelson) You've been here a long time too. Perhaps your time has come as well. 

Hangman puts his noose around Nelson's neck. Nelson freaks out and runs away.

Bobby Blaze vs. Ray Glader 

Blaze looks great and wins the match with his Northern Lights Suplex. Blaze is another added to the Happening's Battle Royal.

AWA National Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Final Match 

The Mavericks vs. The Tribal Nation 

There's a lot at stake here and both teams are on their A game. Mavericks control a segment. Young suplexes Chris as Storm follows with a big elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Mavericks remain in control until Mark nails Storm with a knee to the back from the apron. Tribal Nation control the next segment with a lot of heel tactics. Chris chokes Storm on the bottom rope as Mark leapfrogs over Chris and hits a body guillotine on Storm. Storm weathers the storm and eventually makes the tag to Young. Young cleans house and takes control. Young works over Mark and hits a dropkick from the middle ropes. Chris runs in as does Storm. We get a wild brawl. Chris is tossed out of the ring. Chris grabs his tomahawk.

Los Boricuas run out and nail Chris from behind. The tomahawk goes flying. Inside the ring, Mark is all by himself. Storm nails Mark with a spere and Young follows with a DDT 1..2..3!!! Big POP! 

 

Nelson: Ok, wow! It's now set for the Happening. The Mavericks will face the Iceman and the Superstar for the AWA National tag team titles.

Nelson: Fans, listen to this main event for next week's program. AWA International champ Konnan will team with the AWA world tag champs El Canek and Mil Mascaras to take on Art Barr and the Guerreros. That should be an outstanding match up. Ok, joining me now is Adnan Al-Kassie and the AWA world champ Kokina. 

Adnan looks pissed and Kokina looks like he's ready to destroy anything in his path. Nelson backs up as Adnan snatches the mic. Kokina gives a loud roar and that makes Nelson turn around and walk away. 

Adnan: Bad News Brown! You came out and attacked Kokina from behind last week. You think you have the upper hand but that is very far from the truth. If that is all you have in your arsenal then you are in serious trouble! At the Happening, Kokina isn't just going to beat you. Kokina is going to rip you apart and break every bone in your body. I know you want to regain this AWA world title so badly but the only thing you should be worried about is survival. That sounds like very bad news to me. 

Kokina looks right into the camera, taps on his title and lets out a monstrous roar.

Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Huge main event as AWA International Champ Konnan teams up with the AWA World Tag Champs El Canek and Mil Mascaras to take on Art Barr and the Guerreros. Also, Demolition Ax faces Rip Morgan of Rampage. All that and much more, so let's get to the ring. 

 

Carlos Colon vs. Neil Jordan 

Colon gets the show going as he's all over his opponent. Colon hits a flying clothesline from the top rope and finishes things off with the figure four. 

 

Nelson: Ok Carlos, it's you and Chicky Starr at the Happening, one more time. 

Colon: Last time we met Starr, you got off easy. I'll never forget or forgive what you did to me at WrestleRock in front of all my people! At the Happening, I'm going to beat you senseless and trust me, you'll never be seen here again. 

 

Commercial Break 

 

Frank 'The Ace' Andersson w/Greg Gagne vs. Marcus Moore

Gagne is all smiles as Ace toys with his opponent with his superior wrestling skills. Gagne gives Ace the 'cut it' sign and Ace finishes things off with a cradle suplex. 

Gagne gives an arrogant promo hyping Ace up as the winner of the Happening Battle Royal. Gagne cuts the interview short and heads out. Ace throws his towel in Nelson's face as he walks by. Nelson angrily slams the towel on the ground and cuts to a commercial. 

 

Commercial Break 

 

The Cobra vs. Trent Watkins 

Cobra amazes the fans with his high octane offense and wins the match with a senton from the middle turnbuckles. 

 

Boos as Lou Perez walks to ringside on crutches. Cobra heads over to Nelson. Lou steps in front. 

Nelson: Come on Lou, this is Cobra's time. 

Lou: Take it easy Larry, I'm only out here to tell Cobra how much I respect him and to wish him luck in his upcoming TV title bout at the Happening with my brother Al. As a matter of fact, Al wants to come out here right now and shake Cobra's hand. Come on out Al. 

More boos as Al Perez walks out. Al smiles at Cobra and extends his hand. Cobra looks around at the booing fans. 

WHAM! 

Lou hits Cobra's back with his crutch! 

Al starts stomping down on Cobra and hurls him into the ring. Al gets in the ring, hoists Cobra up and executes the helicopter drop! Lou slides Al the TV title. Al holds it up over the fallen Cobra. 

Nelson: Oh yea, a real champion. I hope the Perez's are real happy with themselves. We'll be back. 

 

Commercial Break 

 

Nelson: Fans, with me now are the Mavericks. Congratulations guys, you've made it to the finals of the AWA National Tag Team Title Tournament. You'll be facing Iceman Parsons and Superstar Dundee at the Happening....

Boos as Austin Idol struts out. 

Idol: Well, well, well, look at you two, all grown up and going for some titles. That's so nice darlings. 

Young: Yea, and believe it or not, we didn't need your help Austin. 

Storm: Yea, what a shock, we actually did it on our own. 

Young: And let's not forget, we already beat you and Dundee at WrestleRock so get ready to taste another loss at the Happening. 

The Mavericks laugh and walk away.

Idol: Hey! You can't just walk away from me! Get back here! 

Nelson: It looks like they've gotten over you Idol and I must say, they're doing pretty good on their own. 

Idol: Watch your mouth Nelson! Those two brats will never be the National Champs! I'm going to relish the moment when the Iceman and the Superstar hold those titles up high. Oh how sweet that moment will be. And don't ever get smart with me again Nelson!

Demolition Ax w/Smash and Crush vs. Rip Morgan w/The Equalizer and Scott Norton 

We get a little sample of the upcoming 6-Man Title bout at the Happening. Ax and Morgan just straight up brawl. It's a back and forth hard hitting fight. Morgan puts Ax down with a boot to the head but Ax kicks out at 2. Later, Ax puts Morgan down with a clothesline but as the Ref's counting, Equalizer and Norton yank the Ref out of the ring. This starts an all out melee. Guys are fighting inside the ring, outside the ring, and up and down the aisle. It's a wild scene.

Col. Debbers is standing in front of a desert background 

Debeers: Big Bossman! You're nothing but an untouchable swine! How dare you claim to be justice. You're a disgrace to any kind of law and order. At the Happening we will meet in a bootcamp match. A match made for tough militants like me. A match made for the strong and not the weak. You are a weak man Bossman, who hides behind his badge like a coward. After the Happening, I will remain the only true law and order in the AWA! 

 

The Big Bossman is standing in front of a prison. 

Bossman: If you break the law, this is where you end up. Col. Debeers! You committed a crime against the Big Bossman and now you must face the consequences! You're being sentenced to a bootcamp match with me and you will be serving hard time punk! I'm law, order and justice around here and you better not forget it! 

 

We then see the Barbarian in what looks to be a dungeon. Cement blocks are stacked up. Barbarian lets out a yell and smashes the blocks with his head! 

 

The Ultimate Warrior is standing on top of a mountain looking out at the view. 

Warrior: (back is turned) I came to the AWA to take on the greatest Warriors in the world but now I face a different challenge. At the Happening, I will face a beast, I will face a barbarian. He brings a power never before seen by man. But I am no ordinary man. I am a warrior (turns around) I am the ULTIMATE WARRIORRRRRRRRRR!

Gama Singh vs. Carl Kellerman 

Gama's been pretty banged up in the past couple of months but he looks to be at full strength tonight. He looks determined and wins the match with the Indian Deathlock. 

 

Nelson: Gama, you face Norman at the Happening and I know you filled with a lot of emotions about that. 

Gama: Makhan was my friend and it breaks my heart that it has come down to this. I know that wasn't Makhan that hurt me, I know he is.... 

Boos as Dr. X comes out

Nelson: Hold on a minute, we don't want any more trouble out here tonight

X: I am not here to cause trouble, I am here to help. Do not fear, Norman is currently at the facility. (looks at Gama) As a Doctor, my job is to save people. Mr. Singh, I'm here to save you. Please refrain from calling Norman by any other name. This is for your own safety. 

Gama: I do not know what you did to Makhan but I know he is still in there. I will save Makhan, no matter what. Even through blood in the ring, I will save him. 

X: I came out here in good faith. However, Mr. Singh, you refuse to listen. You have made a fatal error and at the Happening, you will pay for it, dearly.  

Dr. X walks away 

Gama: I will save Makhan. I have too. 

 

Commercial Break 

 

Konnan/El Canek and Mil Mascaras vs. Art Barr and The Guerreros w/The Vin Man 

This one's a good one as the fans get a roller coaster seesaw battle. Everybody gets in their moments. Mascaras dazzles with his flying presses. Canek amazes with his power. Konnan puts his lucha moves to work. Barr has his high flying turned way up and the Guerreros double teaming is in full throttle. After 10 minutes of non stop action, Konnan hits his Konnan Crush on Barr but the Guerreros break the pin which brings in Canek and Mascaras. We've got a pier six brawl going on. Konnan clamps on the Tequila Sunrise on Barr but the Ref is tied up with the others fighting. 

Vinnie gets in the ring and blasts Konnan with the Guerreros sack of coins! The coins explode over Konnan's head. Vinnie gets out of the ring. Barr rolls over and puts his arm over Konnan as the Ref turns around, runs over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOOOOOO!

 

Commercial Break 

 

Nelson: I believe Vinnie made the biggest mistake of his life because Konnan will be looking for payback at the Happening, that's for sure. Ok, joining me now is the man who will face Kokina for the AWA world title at the Happening. He's a former AWA world champion, Bad News Brown. 

Brown comes out clenching his fists. 

Brown: Gimmie that mic you beer bellied sharecropper! Listen up Kokina! Your man Adnan was out here mouthing off and making empty threats. My threats aren't empty. It's real simple. I want my world title back and at the Happening, I'm gonna get it! 

BOOOOS as Adnan Al-Kassie walks out. Nelson knows Adnan wasn't supposed to be here tonight and sees what this could lead to and gets out of there. 

Adnan walks up to Brown but Brown punches him with the mic! Adnan goes down. 

Hold on! 

Kokina comes out, grabs Brown but Brown turns around and nails Kokina with the mic! Kokina doesn't go down. Brown hits him again with the mic. Kokina staggers. Brown drops the mic and puts Kokina down with the ghetto blaster! 

What a way to end the show!

Brown makes a hell of a statement by dropping both the champ and his manager. Still, it took two mic shots AND a Ghetto Blaster to put Kokina down.
