Larry Nelson: Hello everyone and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. We've got a lot in store for you tonight. AWA World Champion Hulk Hogan will be here. Speaking of champions, for those of you who don't know, we have a new AWA International champion. Let's bring him out right now, the Red Rooster Terry Taylor.

taylor2.jpg.7348a55b742218972fa6ce9021403ea6.jpg

Taylor struts out in a sparkling red jacket with the title on his shoulder.

Nelson: Terry, you defeated Paul Orndorff just days after the Happening. As you know at the Happening Stan Hansen reinjured Orndorff's neck. Paul went against Doctor's orders and wrestled you anyways.

Taylor: I'm going to cut you off right there Nelson. What are you, in love with Orndorff? I earned the title shot and I did what I told everybody I was going to do. I went out and won the International title. Fair and square might I add. See, he isn't so wonderful. How many times do I have to tell you. The AWA is a henhouse and who runs the henhouse? The Rooster! I'm the cock of the walk and brother this title proves I can back up everything I say. That's right, I walk it like I talk it. So, bring on the so called challengers and I'll take them down one by one. Red Rooster is running this place and everybody better get used to it!

Blackblood w/Skandor Akbar vs. Jay Thompson

black.png.d99a743e71eaf29ca8721ce11c9d3697.png

Blood destroys his opponent and finishes him off with a knee drop from the top rope.

Nelson: Ok Akbar, you really pulled off a dirty trick at the Happening. El Canek wins the match only to find out an imposter was under the mask. As if that wasn't bad enough, the real Blackblood attacks Canek.

Akbar: (laughs) Greg Gagne was right, Canek is a moron. Blackblood's mission is to terminate El Canek, so if the moron is stupid enough to want more, come and get it because we'll be waiting!

Commercial Break

The Renegade Warriors vs. Vinergy w/The Vin Man

tribal.jpg.8d7d474c2d18a01f6810e5e3a749e876.jpgdukes.jpg.dbfc7042c030d11dd87fa5c779213ca9.jpgputski.jpg.67044e38c0e3ca3225c6eefa28899ee0.jpg

Both teams are vying for a title shot and show up tonight with their A games. Vinergy show off their speed and strength while the Warriors are in sync with stereo moves. After a few minutes the Warriors are in control. They double chop Putski down, then double slam Dukes. Putski staggers up as Chris hits a flying press 1..2..Vinnie runs into the ring and breaks it. The Ref calls for the DQ. The Warriors grab Vinnie and hoist him up for a double suplex but Vinergy regroups and attacks the Warriors. Both teams keep fighting into the commercial break

Commercial Break

The Rock n Roll Express vs. Carl Kellerman and Ray Glader

rnr.jpg.1bd3941a733eef78dec98bf1b98c9308.jpg

The fans are up and cheering as RnR win the match with a double dropkick.

Nelson: Ok it's official, you two will get a shot at the National tag titles in Alaska on November 2nd.

RnR cut a promo and say now that they're done with the Moondogs, it's time to focus on the gold! They say rock n roll is here to stay in the AWA!

Commercial Break

'Sir' Tony St. Clair w/Les Thornton vs. Paul Redman

tony.jpg.c0c376e154153263dacb429e6d3111bb.jpg

St. Clair puts on a wrestling clinic and wins the match with a floating butterfly suplex.

Nelson: Les, Tony, at the Happening, Carlos Colon took you to the limit and I think surprised you with his wrestling skills.

Thornton: Carlos Colon managed to pull off a once in a lifetime miracle. Rest assured a rematch will be signed and rest assured Sir Tony will show that savage why he's simply the best.

St. Clair: Lace up your wrestling boots Colon, because we're going to do this again.

Commercial Break

'Mad Dog' Buzz Sawyer vs. 'The Foreman' Spike Huber

sawyer.jpg.570fc1e666d2b194f831c74434bf35eb.jpghuber.jpg.d1e63ccbc8ff61ff78b441ed9a76047d.jpg

Sawyer attacks at the bell and is relentless. Huber manages to get in some offense, but Sawyer is on another level tonight. Huber is tough and manages to give Sawyer some more hard shots. Then Sawyer retakes control and is brutal. Sawyer finishes things off with the powerslam! Sawyer paces the ring like a lunatic before leaving.

Commercial Break

Nelson is in the middle of the ring.

Nelson: Coming out now are the winners of the War Games match, I'm talking about the All-Stars, Austin Idol, Chicky Starr, Bill Dundee, Dream Machine and Brian Adias.

Boos as the All-Stars slowly enter the ring with smiles. They all hug and high five.

Nelson: Austin Idol, because you got the winning fall, you will get a world title match with Hulk Hogan in Alaska. But before we get to that, there was some controversy at the War Games and I'm talking about Glamour Doll bringing you a steel pipe to help finish off Sweet Brown Sugar. Just what the hell was that all about?

The All-Stars shrug their shoulders and smile.

Idol: Relax darling. You just ruined the surprise. Please welcome the newest member of the All-Stars, Glamour Doll.

Doll is elated as he runs into the ring and hugs everybody.

Doll: People need friends around here and who could ask for better friends than the most elite group in wrestling, the All-Stars!

Idol: Doll, you earned your stripes and we welcome you with open arms.

Everybody pats Doll on the back.

Idol: Now! As for you Dope Hogan! Kiss your belt goodbye darling because it's coming to the All-Stars! Hey everybody knows that Idolmania has been running wild a lot longer than your weak DopeAmania. I mean, take a look at us, we're what's happening in wrestling. You're nothing but a stooge Hogan. You're a puppet for the network. When I win that world title, the All-Stars are going to change the game forever in the AWA and that's a promise Jack!

The All-Stars raise Idol's arms in victory.

Commercial Break

AWA TV Champ 'Thrilling' Tom Brandi vs. Willie Lopez

brandi.jpg.3526a191c511fb062b85699bea7204a9.jpg

The newly crowned TV champ looks great tonight and wins the match with a flying elbow from the top rope.

Nelson: Ok, Tom Brandi, congratulations on winning the TV title at the Happening. I know the TV title contenders drawings will return soon, so a lot of wrestlers will be gunning for your title.

Brandi: You got that right but I can assure you and all these great fans that I've never been more prepared and focused in my life. I'm more than ready for all the top competition the AWA has to offer.

Commercial Break

'The Mighty Yankee' Steve Disalvo and Karachi Vice vs. Soultaker and the Moondogs w/Skandor Akbar

strong2.jpg.89982c7b03dc287a7a7b215cbefe785a.jpgkarachivice.jpg.82900bc813255baaae8f1e36f26cd50e.jpgsoultaker.jpg.161253f622a404ad57e55d85d1cf582e.jpgmoondogs.jpg.bd4582da2e63f9407b02f44de615a01a.jpg

This match is hard hitting and chaotic! Disalvo and Taker have some brutal exchanges. Of course the Moondogs bring out the heel side of Karachi Vice as they battle. In the end we get a wild pier six brawl. During the melee, Disalvo grabs Moondog Spot and hits a German Suplex for the win. The bell rings but Soultaker runs over and fights with Disalvo. They fight to the outside and all around the ring while Karachi Vice and the Moondogs tear it up inside the ring.

Commercial Break

The Russian Nightmare' Nikita Koloff vs. Carl Kellerman

nikita.jpg.55941a8912bb6329a5654e2ff9df290f.jpg

Nikita makes his return to the ring since WrestleRock. Nikita is in total control when there's a commotion at ringside.

Nelson: Wait a minute! I know who that is! That's Colonel Debeers!. What's he doing here?

debeers.jpg.143ea1a8b99034d48aaa2da21402d2da.jpg

Debeers circles the ring twirling his mustache.

Nikita stares at him but gets back to his match and finishes things off with the Russian Sickle!

Debeers stares at Nikita and calmly strolls away

Nikita cuts a promo and says he's back and in the best shape of his life. He also says he has no idea why Col Debeers is here but warned him by saying he better watch himself and the Russian Sickle.

Commercial Break

Nelson: I've asked Nikita Koloff to stay out here. On November 16th, there will be a special pay per view called No Holds Barred, the match/the movie. Fans will watch the movie No Holds Barred and then afterwards from the St. Paul Civic Center there will be a tag team match. Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami will take on Nikita Koloff and this man, the AWA world champion Hulk Hogan!

hogan.jpg.7dd58c1b2a5ffc447a19d220c0ecf98d.jpg

Eye of the tiger blasts as Hogan storms out and into the ring. He shakes Nikita's hand and raises his arm.

Nelson: At the Happening, Jumbo Tsuruta made his return but luckily Nikita was on commentary and was there to even things up. Now the match has been signed. But before that Hulk, you will defend your world title against Austin Idol in Alaska. Busy month for you.

Hogan: Well you know something Lethal Larry, things got crazy at the Happening but my main man Nikita Koloff saved the day brother. That no good dirty coward Ray Stevens thought he had a master plan but the Russian Nightmare spoiled everything! So, on November 16th after you watch my movie No Holds Barred, Nikita and I are going to handle those two dudes and put them down once and for all. Oh but don't think for one minute I've forgotten about you Austin Idol. You're good at running your big mouth but brother, I'm going to slam you down and put my boot in your mouth and shut you up for good. Then it's onto Jumbo and Tatsumi and whatcha all going to do when Nikita Koloff and Hulkamania run wild on you!!!!!

Hogan and Nikita high five and pump up the crowd to end the show.

Loved your promo with Taylor.  I think he is a bit underrated as he was good as a fan favorite and heel and was pretty good at the technical stuff in the ring.

Can't wait to see what you do with Debeers.  I was never sure how to far to push his gimmick but looking forward to your take.

I think you have done a great job throughout the time with Carlos Colon.  I think you have nailed it perfectly.  He is someone I think would have been even bigger with more time in the U.S.  He seemed to be able to work any type of match and you have captured that perfectly.

Also, love the idea of a movie and a match.  Very creative and a great way to make Hogan happy.

Soul Taker and the Moondogs make a great stable.  I think he should have stayed with the Soultaker gimmick.

The show kicks off with pre recorded comments from Austin Idol and AWA world champ Hulk Hogan.

Idol: (wearing an Idolmania headband) Hogan, darling, time is ticking Jack! Next week in Alaska, your reign at the top comes crumbling down, because Idolmania is going to take the myth of Hulkamania down! The AWA world title is coming home with me daddy!

Hogan: Austin Idol! You talk a good game brother, No doubt about it, your big mouth spits out a lot of words. But words wont help you one bit when we meet in Alaska brother. The power of Hulkamania is putting you down! There's only one mania running wild! After I'm down shutting Idol's big mouth, it's on to the match and the movie pay per view. Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami will feel the wrath of Hulk Hogan and Nikita Koloff! So, Idol, Tsuruta, Fujinami and Ray Stevens whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on all of you!!

Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Huge night of action for you. The superstar from Mexico, Konnan makes his debut. Justified takes on the Union Jacks. The newest All-Star Glamour Doll will be in action. Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami will be in tag action. Steve Disalvo goes one on one with the Soultaker. And get this, I still can't believe it, but the two names drawn for a shot at the TV title were Larry Zbyszko and David Sammartino. Yes, tonight they will wrestle for a shot at the TV title. All that and so much more. Let's get to the action.

The Rose Cousins vs. Carl Kellerman and Rance Jones

roses.jpg.9b827032abed6398624b6277b39aae5f.jpg

The Roses look great tonight and win the match with the Rose Bomb!

Nelson: Ok, Pat and Randy Rose, you two get the chance of a lifetime right here next week when you face the Fantastics for the AWA world tag titles.

Pat: It's about time the AWA took notice of the Rose Cousins. Our time has come!

Randy: That's right! One shot is all we need and next week we're taking the gold home. Bet on it!

Commercial Break

Konnan vs. Trent Watkins

konnan.jpg.e4b0e44e8494fcf70968389bc717b18a.jpg

Konnan makes his AWA debut and immediately excites the fans with high octane offense. Konnan swings Watkins to the ropes, does a somersault and follows with a diving clothesline for the win! Nelson mentions Konnan brings a whole new style to the AWA.

Commercial Break

Justified vs. The Union Jacks w/Les Thornton

young.jpg.510b0180f8cdfff20c4f845d9d006757.jpgoliver.jpg.d2e9250547ed055503dda41da84cb1e2.jpgtaylor.jpg.4082641d2168def937213c14569e8917.jpgjsmith.jpg.d3c7d5e336ad9ae16111054d5141de01.jpg

Two more teams vying for a tag title shot. This one is hard hitting and aggressive. Neither team gives an inch as they go toe to toe. The Union Jacks take control and work over Oliver. They swing Oliver to the ropes and blast him with double forearms. Dave sends Oliver into the corner with a European uppercut and tags in Smith. Dave holds Oliver as Smith comes off the top rope with a double axehandle 1..2..Kick Out. Smith swings Oliver to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Oliver kicks him, dives over and tags in Young.

Young cleans house and is on fire. He clotheslines Smith down and covers, but Dave drops a knee on Young's head. The Union Jacks regain control. Smith and Dave tag in and out and keep Young in the corner. They hoist Young up for a double suplex but Oliver runs in and clips the Jacks knees. Thornton is up on the apron. Oliver knocks him off with a punch. The Jacks stagger up. Oliver clotheslines Dave down as Young rolls up Smith from behind 1..2..3!!

The Union Jacks roll out of the ring and help Thornton up. Justified celebrates. Thornton points to the ring. The Jacks run back into the ring and attack Justified from behind. They stomp them down good. They pick up Oliver and deliver a double slingshot suplex. They pick up Young and throat drop him on the top rope. Thornton runs in and raises the Union Jacks arms in victory as the fans boo.

Commercial Break

Leo Burke vs. Joe Canton

leo.jpg.58f63c753bdcd84a011e3c74e6d9a6f1.jpg

Burke finishes things off with the sleeper.

Nelson: Leo, you've been on a roll and you'll be rewarded with an International title shot next week in Alaska.

Burke: I couldn't be happier. Terry Taylor keeps claiming he runs the henhouse and that he's the cock of the walk. Let me remind you Rooster, pride comes before the fall. I'm coming for you and that title.

Commercial Break

Glamour Doll w/Bill Dundee and Dream Machine vs. Todd Rooney

doll.jpg.6873c697733fb38db77d52de8b21d705.jpg

Doll is unbearable in the ring as his new friends from the All-Stars cheer him on. Doll hits a missile dropkick, puts his boot on Rooney's chest and yells "This is way too easy!" as the Ref counts to 3.

Wait a minute!

Don Muraco, Bob Armstrong, Iceman Parsons, Brutus Beefcake and Sweet Brown Sugar run out! Muraco and Beefcake grab Dundee and swing him into the steel post. Parsons and Armstrong hammer down on Dream Machine and double slam him on the concrete! Sweet Brown Sugar runs in the ring and just gives Doll a beating. Armstrong tosses Sugar a steel bar (just like the one Doll brought out at the War Games) Sugar takes the bar and hits Doll over the head, then hits his leg several times with it. Sugar then clamps on the figure four and wrenches away. Doll's a bloody mess and passes out. Officials run out but Sugar, Armstrong, Parsons, Muraco and Beefcake are satisfied and exit without more problems. That was some serious payback!

Commercial Break

Carlos Colon vs. Ray Glader

colon2.jpg.a198ea6019feefabf0594e6232ab4a4d.jpg

Colon's fired up tonight and wins the match with a clothesline from the top rope.

Colon cuts a promo on Tony St. Clair and says he's more than willing to go at it again in a wrestling match. Just say when!

Commercial Break

'The Mighty Yankee' Steve Disalvo vs. The Soultaker w/Skandor Akbar

strong2.jpg.89982c7b03dc287a7a7b215cbefe785a.jpgsoultaker.jpg.161253f622a404ad57e55d85d1cf582e.jpg

These two have had quite the rivalry the last couple months and want to end it tonight. The match is brutal as both men lay into each other with some earth shattering shots. Disalvo gets control and puts his muscles to work as he uses a variety of power moves but Taker hangs tough and thanks to interference by Akbar, gains control.

Taker pounds away on Disalvo, hoists him up and delivers a running shoulder breaker 1..2..Kick Out. Taker stomps down on Disalvo, hops on the turnbuckles and crashes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Taker gives Disalvo a few more angry stomps, picks him up and slams him down hard, then follows with a jumping fist drop 1..2..Kick Out. Taker swings Disalvo to the corner and charges in but Disalvo runs forward and clotheslines Taker down.

Both men slowly stagger up. Disalvo starts punching away on Taker, swings him to the ropes and gives him a big back drop. Taker staggers up as Disalvo mows him over with a shoulder block. Disalvo goes to the turnbuckles. Akbar hops on the apron and yells at Disalvo. Disalvo hops down and quickly grabs Akbar and lifts him off his feet. Taker rises, runs over and goes for a high knee from behind, but Disalvo moves as Taker sends Akbar flying off the apron. Disalvo grabs Taker from behind and executes a German Suplex 1..2..3!!

Commercial Break

We come back and get a pre recorded promo from El Canek. It's in subtitles as he talks about his match with Blackblood in Alaska. Canek says he's going to finish what they started.

Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami w/Ray Stevens vs. Sam Smith and Arnie Goldstein

jumbo.jpg.e38382b7b41404e93f709d4286cb5935.jpgtatsumi.jpg.1e1834386b7e892b94d52b8d478288cd.jpg

Tsuruta and Fujinami take turns pinballing their opponents all over the ring. During the match Col. Debeers strolls out to observe. Stevens glances at him with curiosity. The crowd is in awe as Tsuruta and Fujinami hoist Smith up and double power bomb him down! Debeers twirls his mustache, nods in approval and exits. Meanwhile, poor Sam Smith is stretchered out.

Nelson: Ray, that young man may never wrestle again..

Ray cuts him off.

Stevens: Hogan! Koloff! That was for you! No mistake about it, that's nothing compared to what Jumbo and Tatsumi are going to do to you in St. Paul! I hope all your fans enjoy your movie, because that pay per view will not be a happy ending for Hulkamania. Nikita! You should have never stuck your nose in our business. Hogan! You're finished!

Commercial Break

Winner receives an AWA TV Title shot

'The Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko vs. David Sammartino

1484051026_larryz.jpg.191b83bb9ed53893bacae554b010d3fc.jpgsammartino.jpg.abf6ea3bcad5774bc47f08de52a673cb.jpg

Well, thanks to luck, this rivalry continues.

The bell rings and Zbyszko rolls out of the ring to stall. David runs out and pushes Zbyszko into the steel post. David slams Zbyszko's head on the apron and hurls him back in the ring. It's all David as he works over Zbyszko with back drops, slams, punches, and slams. Zbyszko stops the momentum with a mule kick.

Zbyszko regroups and works over David with chokes, knee drops and suplexes. Zbyszko gives David a backbreaker 1..2..Kick out. Zbyszko berates the Ref and keeps arguing with him. David slowly gets his senses back. David grabs Zbyszko and atomic drops him. Zbyszko stands cross legged as David dropkicks him down.

David's on fire as he hammers away on Zbyszko. David swings Zbyszko into the corner, but the Ref gets tangled in and takes a bump. The Ref goes down. David hoists Zbyszko on the turnbuckles and follows, then delivers a superplex! David has Zbyszko down but the Ref is still out. David goes to check on the Ref as Zbyszko rolls out of the ring.

While David is reviving the Ref, Zbyszko slides into the ring with a chair. David turns around as Zbyszko hits him over the head with the chair! Zbyszko slides the chair out of the ring. Zbyszko covers as the Ref crawls over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOO!

Idol & Hogan exchange harsh words before they head to Alaska.

The Rose's are ready for gold.

Konnan impresses in his debut.

Union Jacks with an unjustified assault.

Burke is first up for Taylor.

Doll paid dearly for his actions in Wargames.

Colon is tuned up and ready for St Clair.

I'm sure Disalvo got a big pop off that supplies to Soultaker.

Debeers approves of the mean streak Stevens has put in Jumbo & Fujinami.

Larry Z cheats his way to a TV Title shot.

Looking forward to the big show in Alaska.... some interesting matches already signed.

Looking forward to what you do with Konnan.  I always liked him.

The AWA has a very crowded tag division where everyone seems to think they deserve the gold.  I wonder who will wear the belts when the dust clears.

What an attack on Doll.  It was hard to tell the heels from the babyface in this one.

Larry Z with the chair shot on David S.  I just can't seem to get enough of this one!

Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. A lot of our wrestlers are in Alaska preparing for the big night, which includes Hulk Hogan defending the AWA world title against Austin Idol. We'll show you all the highlights next week. Well, we've got a lot in store for tonight's program. The AWA world tag team titles will be on the line as the Fantastics defend against the Rose Cousins. Ok, lets get the show going.

'The Foreman' Spike Huber vs. Grant Winslow

huber.jpg.d1e63ccbc8ff61ff78b441ed9a76047d.jpg

Huber airplane spins Winslow, slams him down and follows with an elbow drop for the win.

Huber cuts a promo and says some recent losses have set him back some, but that's not going to keep him down.

Commercial Break

The Renegade Warriors vs. Vinergy w/The Vin Man

tribal.jpg.8d7d474c2d18a01f6810e5e3a749e876.jpgdukes.jpg.dbfc7042c030d11dd87fa5c779213ca9.jpgputski.jpg.67044e38c0e3ca3225c6eefa28899ee0.jpg

Warriors start off strong and have Vinergy reeling. The Warriors swing Putski to the ropes and double back drop him. Dukes runs in but gets double chopped down. Vinnie hops on the apron but jumps down quick when the Warriors head over. The Warriors rough up Putski pretty good. Putski finally makes the tag, but Dukes doesn't fare any better. Chris suplexes Dukes as Mark follows with a fist drop from the middle ropes 1..2..Dukes gets his foot on the rope. Vinnie hops on the apron and starts causing trouble. Chris hops down and yanks Vinnie off the apron. The Ref is distracted by this. Mark picks Dukes up, but Putski runs in and Polish Hammers Mark from behind! Putski puts Dukes on top of Mark and yells at the Ref. The Ref turns around, runs over and counts 1..2..3!

Chris tosses Vinnie down and runs into the ring to protect Mark. Vinergy rolls out of the ring. They help Vinnie up and celebrate their victory.

Commercial Break

Nelson: Fans, next week, Tom Brandi will defend the AWA TV title against this man, Larry Zbyszko. Larry, last week you used a chair on David Sammartino to earn this match and I use the term earn very loosely.

Zbyszko: Ok, that's enough out of you Spudhead. You know, Bruno's boy has been nothing but a pesky thorn in my side. How many times do I have to knock some sense into that brat! Now, onto something worthy of my time. I'm talking about the TV title. That young punk Brandi pulls off the fluke of a lifetime and now goes around calling himself a champion. Next week, I'm putting a stop on that. The living legend should be a champion and I'm going to take that punk to Larryland, give him a wrestling lesson and take that title. As for you Nelson, do me a favor and just keep your mouth shut!

Nelson rolls his eyes

Commercial Break

'Mad Dog' Buzz Sawyer vs. Trent Watkins

sawyer.jpg.570fc1e666d2b194f831c74434bf35eb.jpg

Sawyer destroys his opponent and easily wins the match with a powerslam. Sawyer then proceeds to bite Watkins head until he bleeds. Officials run in to stop this madness.

Commercial Break

Nelson: Ok, with me now is Bob Armstrong, Brutus Beefcake, Iceman Parsons, Sweet Brown Sugar, Don Muraco and his manager Superstar Graham. I think we all thought your feud with the All-Stars was over after War Games, but after what happened to Glamour Doll, it looks like another chapter.

Armstrong: Let me make something clear, we would've accepted our loss at War Games and moved on if it had been legit. That coward Doll, who wasn't even in the match brought in a steel bar and that steel bar won the match. Our man Sugar was banged up pretty bad with that steel bar. Last week Glamor Doll found out exactly how that felt. All-Stars, this can stop now. It's up to you.

Boos as Bill Dundee comes out. He grabs a microphone from the announcer's table.

Dundee: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You boys started something last week and the All-Stars are going to finish it. Oh no, this isn't over, not by a long shot!

Brian Adias, Chicky Starr and Dream Machine come from behind as Dundee joins. Fists start flying! It's pure chaos! Security, officials and prelim wrestlers run out. It's pandemonium!

Commercial Break

Nelson: My goodness! Ok, it's official, that war is not over! I've received word that the AWA C.O.O. Gerry Morrow will be here next week to address this situation. (deep breath) Switching gears, as you all know, in 2 weeks there will be a special pay per view called No Holds Barred, The Match/The Movie. You will see Hulk Hogan's movie No Holds Barred and then afterwards from the St. Paul Civic Center you will see the match as AWA World Champ Hulk Hogan and Nikita Koloff take on Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami with Ray Stevens in their corner. Also, in a special bonus match from St. Paul, Tony St. Clair will wrestle Carlos Colon. A very exciting night indeed. Our world tag team title bout when we come back.

Nikita hits the Russian Sickle and it's all over!

WHAM!

From behind, Nikita is attacked by Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami with Ray Stevens calling the shots. As Jumbo and Tatsumi pound away on Nikita, Col. Debeers comes strolling out. He's just twirling his mustache and watching.

Stevens yells something. Jumbo and Tatsumi hoist Nikita up and double power bomb him down! Nikita is motionless as Jumbo and Tatsumi stand over him. Debeers looks on still twirling his mustache, then calmly walks away.

Huber looks to get back in the groove.

Vinergy steals one from the Warriors.

Larry can already taste that new gold.

You're really going all in on Sawyer's Mad Dog gimmick and I'm here for it.

The All-Stars aren't walking away from this war.

The Fantastics fight off the Rose Cousins.

Stevens' men put a hurting on Nikita ahead of the No Holds Barred event. What's Debeers angle in all this?

AWA @ The Sullivan Arena, Anchorage Alaska 11-2-89

awa2.jpg.25aae2400209e6fcd3602652b57f62eb.jpg

Tommy Jammer defeats Clayton Royce with the California Splash

Karachi Vice defeats Two Local Talents- Makhan executes a backbreaker and Gama follows with a Boston Crab to get the submission win.

Konnan vs. Moondog Spot w/Moondog Rex and Skandor Akbar

Konnan spends most of the match dealing with constant outside interference from both Rex and Akbar. This allows Spot to get in some hard shots and work Konnan over. Konnan does dazzle the fans with his exciting offense, but thanks to more outside issues, Spot regains control. At one point Rex is on the apron. Spot swings Konnan towards Rex, but Konnan reverses it and swings Spot into Rex. A disoriented Spot spins around as Konnan nails him with a lunging clothesline for the win!

The Brawney Boys vs. A mystery team

Jim and Kaz wait in the ring for their opponents. The announcer introduces 'Latin Desire'. Out walks Al and Lou Perez. They're wearing black vests with red hearts on the back. They seem really full of themselves.

Latin Desires confidence fades as the Brawny Boys pinball them around the ring with their brute strength and raw power. Kaz has Lou in a bearhug and wrenches away. Al comes in and hits Kaz with a forearm blast from behind. Jim comes in and sends Al back to the corner with a big right punch. The Ref guides Jim back. This allows Al to nail Kaz with a superkick and Lou follows with a bridging back suplex as the Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! As Jim runs in, the Perez's quickly exit the ring.

El Canek vs. Blackblood w/Skandor Akbar

This one's hot as these guys tear into each other. After a few minutes of brawling, Akbar makes a signal to the back. Soultaker runs into the ring and attacks Canek. The Ref signals for the DQ. Blood and Taker put the boots to Canek. The fans cheer as Konnan hits the ring with fists flying. All four men go at it! Here comes the Moondogs! But before they make it to the ring, Karachi Vice is on their tails and the teams start fighting on the outside. It's a wild scene.

AWA International Title Bout

'The Red Rooster' Terry Taylor (C) vs. Leo Burke

These guys can go and man they brought their A games. The match goes back and forth and they both shine. At the 20 minute mark, Taylor gets control with an eye rake. Taylor chokes Burke on the top rope and flings him back. Taylor slams Burke, swings off the ropes and hits a delayed knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Taylor swings Burke into the corner and charges in, but Burke runs forward and nails Taylor with a forearm blast. Burke regroups and swings Taylor into the corner and charges in with a knee to the mid section. Burke blasts away with forearm uppercuts. Burke swings Taylor to the ropes and clamps on the sleeper! The fans are cheering as Taylor struggles to stay awake. Taylor back pedals Burke into the turnbuckles to break the hold. Taylor quickly hits a Jawbreaker 1..2..(Burke gets his foot on the bottom rope, but the Ref doesn't see it)..3!

Taylor slides out of the ring, shakes the cobwebs, holds up his arms in victory and pats himself on the back. The Ref hands Taylor his title and of course Taylor reminds the fans who's champ.

AWA National Tag Team Title Bout

The Olympians (C) vs. The Rock n Roll Express

RnR get a huge reaction from the fans as they hit the ring. The Olympians enter the ring and grab the mic. Patera and Rheingans take turns berating RnR and say they shouldn't have to defend these prestigious titles against some dirty hippies. After more of this, the Ref just signals for the bell. RnR stereo dropkick the Olympians out of the ring as the fans go wild.

The opening minutes is all RnR as they fluster and piss off the Olympians with quick tags and fast paced offense. Olympians finally make a comeback thanks to an outside trip by Patera followed by a gut wrench suplex by Rheingans. The Olympians get down to business and really work Morton over. More frustration grows because they can't put Morton away. At one point Morton makes the hot tag, but the Ref doesn't see it. Morton takes more punishment as Rheingans delivers a side suplex then tags in Patera. Patera puts on an awesome display of strength as he destroys Morton with a series of power moves. Patera then clamps on the full nelson and wrenches away. Gibson runs in and dropkicks Patera from behind. Rheingans runs in but gets back dropped. After the Ref gets order, Patera tags in Rheingans. The Olympians double team Morton in the corner. Gibson has enough, runs over and punches away on the Olympians. Gibson swings Rheingans to the ropes and back drops him. Patera charges but Gibson takes him over with a flying head scissors. Gibson helps Morton up. Patera is on his knees. Rheingans staggers up as RnR double dropkick him. Rheingans falls back over Patera as Morton springs himself over Patera and covers Rheingans 1..2..3!!! HUGE POP!

The fans go wild as the Ref hands RnR the National tag titles! You can tell Morton really took a beating, but it's all worth it as he hugs his partner Gibson.

The winners of the bout and NEW AWA National tag team champs- The Rock n Roll Express

Hogan rips Idol's headband off, then rips his Idolmania shirt off and chokes him with it. Hogan lifts Idol up, spins him around and slams him down hard. It's all Hogan as he unleashes a series of power moves that has Idol bouncing and bumping all over the ring. Idol rolls out of the ring to take a breather. The Ref starts the count. Idol hops on the apron. Hogan goes to grab him but Idol hops down. After this happens a couple times, Hogan goes out after Idol and chases him around the ring. Idol slides in the ring. Hogan follows but Idol quickly nails Hogan with a high knee lift.

Idol stomps away on Hogan and chokes him on the bottom rope. Idol grabs the top rope and drops several knees onto Hogan. Idol chokes Hogan on the bottom rope, swings off the opposite ropes and hits a body guillotine. Idol hoists Hogan up and vertical suplexes him back. Idol hops on the turnbuckles and crashes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Idol swings Hogan to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Hogan swings back and puts Idol down with an axe bomber. Hogan regroups.

Hogan hoists Idol up and atomic drops him over the top rope. The Ref backs Hogan up. Idol's on the ground and reaches in his tights. He pulls out a foreign object. Idol slowly gets on the apron. Hogan runs over, but Idol nails him with the foreign object, then quickly tosses it. Idol gets in the ring, covers Hogan and puts his feet on the ropes 1..2..Kick out! Idol is furious and screams at the Ref.

Idol angrily stomps away on Hogan's leg. Idol gets some heat as he starts flexing his muscles for the booing fans. Idol puts Hogan's leg on the bottom rope and continues to stomp on it, then drops several knee drops on it. Idol drags Hogan out, lifts him up and executes the shin breaker. Idol clamps on the Las Vegas Leglock! Idol wrenches away as the fans cheer Hogan on.

Hogan fights it and starts pumping up. Both men sit up as Hogan starts unloading on Idol with punches. Finally, Hogan is able to break the hold. Hogan staggers up and limps around. After a couple warm up matches, K-Dawg puts down the Moondog to really get things going.

Latin Desire gets the win but also a few bruises to go with it.

All of Devastation Inc gets involved in a chaotic brawl.

Taylor retains but Burke has got to get a rematch.

The entertaining reign of the Olympians finally comes to a close thanks to the power of Rock n Roll!

I think Idolmania just sputtered out.

Highlights are shown from the Alaska card. The Rock n Roll Express defeat the Olympians for the National tag titles. The final clip is Hulk Hogan hitting the leg drop on Austin Idol to retain the AWA world title.

Commercial Break

Brenda Britton is on screen.

Britton: Hi everybody, joining me now is the AWA C.O.O. Gerry Morrow. Gerry, I must say you're doing an incredible job and I'm sure you have a lot to say, so go right ahead.

Morrow: AHHHHHH Thank you Brenda. Indeed I do. As you know there's been a lot of bad blood between de All-Stars and Armstrong, Parsons, Sugar, Beefcake and Muraco. I thought dis would be over at War Games but I guess I thought wrong.

Boos as the All-Stars storm out.

Idol: Gerry! Gerry! Gerry! Darling, this has gotten way out of control and we've had enough. You saw what they did to Glamour Doll last week! Because of that I couldn't concentrate on my world title bout with that wannabe Austin Idol, Hulk Hogan. Those jerks are sore losers and they went way to far! We want them out of the AWA!

The All-Stars are nodding and yelling at Morrow.

Morrow: Ok, just relax boys. Here is what I am going to do. There will be a series of one on one matches. However, I want both sides to know, if there is any outside interference, then I will kick them out of de AWA for good. So, here are de match ups. Austin Idol vs. Bob Armstrong. Dream Machine vs. Sweet Brown Sugar. Brian Adias vs. Brutus Beefcake. Chicky Starr vs. Iceman Parsons. Bill Dundee vs. Don Muraco.

Dundee: Hold on Gerry! I want my superstar name back!

Morrow: Hahahaha but of course. I'll have some fun with dis one. If you win de match Bill, you will get your Superstar name back. If Muraco wins, he will get a shot at de International title. As for de other matches, de winners will receive full share of de purse and de losers will get no money. Just a little added incentive hahahaha. Hopefully these matches will get it all out of your systems. We will start de matches next week. And remember, if there is any outside interference, people will be out of de AWA for good. Best of luck to all involved.

Dream: We make our own luck babay!

jammer.jpg.31114f9748d43ebe0e6ea6b6c23ae73a.jpg

Jammer slams Stitch, swings off the ropes and hits the California Splash for the win.

Nelson: Ok from California, please welcome to the AWA, Tommy Jammer.

Jammer: California, pretty woman, surf, sand and fun in the sun. Something this place clearly lacks. But don't fret because Tommy Jammer is bringing California to you. Now, everybody is talking about SuperClash 4 the biggest pay per view of the year. Well, it's going to get bigger because I'm making sure I'll be there. That's right! I'm riding the tidal wave right into SuperClash. I've got an open contract to wrestle anybody. All you have to do is gather up some courage and sign your name on the dotted line. (looks at Nelson) Larry you need to relax a bit. Come on, hang loose brother.

Commercial Break

Carlos Colon and Justified vs. 'Sir' Tony St. Clair and The Union Jacks w/Les Thornton

The fans get a fun 6 man tag match here. Colon and St. Clair have some solid exchanges with neither man gaining a distinctive advantage. Justified and the Union Jacks get their moments in with some hard hitting tag action. Oliver and Smith are going at it. Oliver gets control and clotheslines Smith down. Thornton gets on the apron. Oliver goes after him. Dave nails Oliver. That brings in the rest. Colon and St. Clair trade forearm uppercuts. Young punches Dave into the corner and unloads. Oliver swings off the ropes but Thornton trips him. Oliver staggers into a running knee lift by Smith 1..2..3! The Parliament steals this one.

SuperClash 4 Control Center

sup4.jpg.d3837f26dc8e29b2764b5ab10521fd43.jpg

Ken Resnick is sitting in front of a SuperClash banner.

Resnick: Fans, SuperClash returns to the McNichols Arena in Denver Colorado on Friday January 3rd. As you know SuperClash is the AWA's flagship event and this year promises to be better than ever. Music sensation Pat Benatar will kick off the event singing America the Beautiful. As for the action, listen to this. The first match signed will be Paul Orndorff squaring off against Stan Hansen. As you all remember it was Hansen who reinjured Paul's neck at the Happening which led to Paul losing the International title to Terry Taylor just days later. That should be quite the grudge match. More news in the weeks to come.

Commercial Break

AWA National Tag Champs The RnR Express vs. Walter Sampson and Todd Rooney

rnr.jpg.1bd3941a733eef78dec98bf1b98c9308.jpg

The fans cheer as RnR hit the double dropkick for the win. RnR hold up the National titles then stare at them for a bit.

Nelson: Ricky and Robert, congratulations on winning the National tag titles. I know it must be a great feeling.

Robert: It's unbelievable Larry. Winning these titles is a tremendous honor and we have the upmost respect for these titles. But we have an announcement to make. Tell em Ricky.

Morton: Like Robert said, we have nothing but respect for these tremendous titles. It was an absolute honor and privilege to win these in Alaska. The thing is, we're gunning to be the very best here in the AWA and that means we have to win the World tag titles. We know the rules and the AWA says champions can't go after other titles unless they relinquish their current titles. So this is very bittersweet for us. We're hereby relinquishing the National titles to go after the world titles.

Nelson: Wow, talk about a curveball.

Gerry Morrow comes back out.

Morrow: Gentlemen, are you absolutely sure you want to do dis?

Morton: Yes

Gibson: Yes

Morrow: Ok den. I do respect your aspirations and you will get dat world title match.

RnR kiss the National titles and hand them over to Morrow.

Instead of his usual stalling, Zbyszko attacks Brandi at the bell. Zbyszko rakes Brandi's eyes, swings him to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Brandi kicks him. Brandi dives on Zbyszko and starts pounding away. Zbyszko tries to roll out of the ring, but Brandi grabs his boots and drags him back in. Brandi stomps down on Zbyszko, picks him up and slams him down. Brandi swings off the ropes and delivers a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Brandi picks up Zbyszko and hits a delayed vertical suplex. Brandi goes to the top rope and leaps off with a flying elbow drop but Zbyszko moves at the last second.

Both men are reeling. They both stagger up and Zbyszko nails Brandi with a mule kick. Zbyszko grabs Brandi and hits a snap suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Zbyszko berates the Ref, then starts choking Brandi. Zbyszko drags Brandi to the ropes and chokes him on the bottom rope, then drops several knees on Brandi. Zbyszko swings Brandi to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow drop.

Wait a minute!

David Sammartino (with a bandage on his head from that Zbyszko chair shot 2 weeks ago) comes out. He stands at ringside with his arms folded.

Zbyszko sees him and starts yelling at him. He yells at the Ref and demands Sammartino be thrown out. The Ref just shrugs his shoulders. Zbyszko goes towards the turnbuckles and starts berating Sammartino.

Brandi staggers up, runs at Zbyszko and dropkicks him into the turnbuckles! Zbyszko hits hard and staggers back into a roll up by Brandi 1..2..3!!!! Mega Pop!

Brandi rolls out of the ring. Sammartino hands him the TV title and raises his arm. Zbyszko is having a big time tantrum in the ring.

Commercial Break

Footage is shown from last week as Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami double powerbomb Nikita Koloff.

Pre recorded comments

Jumbo and Tatsumi are standing behind Ray Stevens with their arms crossed.

Stevens: Hogan! You saw what we did to your partner! Nikita Koloff found out the hard way what happens when you stick your nose in our business. What are you going to do now Hogan? You're one week away from being destroyed, beaten and laid down to rest! Hulkamania is over! It's all over!

Back live

Nelson: Fans, next week you get to watch No Holds Barred the movie followed by the match. Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Nikita Koloff and this man, the AWA world champion, Hulk Hogan!

Eye of the Tiger blasts as Hogan comes blaring out in jeans, tank top, headband and the world title around his waist. He enters the ring and gives the fans a thumbs up.

Nelson: Hulk, you just heard the comments from Ray Stevens and you saw what Jumbo and Tatsumi did to Nikita. Will Nikita even be able to show next week?

Hogan: Let me tell you something Lethal Larry! There's no doubt in my mind that Nikita will be there brother! They gave him all they had and trust me it wasn't nearly enough to stop Nikita Koloff brother.

Boos as Col Debeers strolls out, twirling his mustache. Debeers stares up at Hogan.

debeers.jpg.143ea1a8b99034d48aaa2da21402d2da.jpg

Hogan: Listen up Debeers! I don't know what your problem is, but you better steer clear of Nikita and myself. If you have something to say, get in this ring and say it to my face!

Debeers keeps twirling his mustache, then casually turns around and walks away.

Hogan: That's what I thought. Now, next week spells the end for Jumbo Tsuruta, Tatsumi Fujinami and that cockroach Ray Stevens! Stevens says Hulkamania is over but I say hell no! Hullkamania is going to run wild in the AWA for a long time brother. It's getting stronger everyday with all the Hulkamaniacs support. Thanks to them, Hulkamania is unstoppable! So, Jumbo, Tatsumi and Stevens, whatcha gonna do when the Russian Nightmare and Hulkamania run wild on youuuuuuuu!

The show ends with Hogan posing.

Disalvo gets to flex a bit.

Jammer already making friends I see.

Thornton comes through for the Parliament.

Hyped for Orndorff vs Hansen.

Well the RnR didn't hold those national tag titles for long.

David Sammartino ain't no quiter, though Larry surely wishes he were.

Hogan is confident Nikita will be there come bell time but Debeers continues to circle the scene.

Great show in Alaska.

Love the RnR Express with the belts.  I also think that Idol might be a little passed his prime but his name is big enough that he would sell tickets anywhere.  This was a great main event for Alaska and made some money as expenses weren't as high as many of the wrestlers didn't make the trip.  Great booking that seems very realistic.

The build towards Superclash is just getting started.  That is always one of my favorite shows in Dawn of War.

Like the big announcement by Morrow as the Allstars seem to have some tough matches coming up.  Great way to hype this up!

Hogan and Debeers is great!  Debeers was such a good worker and so good at getting heat.  This is truly Good vs Evil!

I thought Larry Z was coming out with the belt.  Good write here!

Having been away for a long while, I'm working to get caught up on what everyone has been up to....

Hogan vs. Idol in any era is a fun prospect. While I'm sure it wasn't a technical masterpiece, those two sure know how to get the fans to react!

Anytime the Rock & Roll Express is winning tag team gold, I'm a happy camper!

I didn't expect to find the "Red Rooster" here in Dawn of War...but here he is! I've got to go back and learn how this happened!

Hogan vs. Debeers is one of that fun "what ifs" in real life that we get to watch play out in this world. Looking forward to this.

Last week Gerry Morrow announced a series of one on one matches. He also said that if there's any interference, people will be banned from the AWA. Also, the winners of the matches will get the full share of the money while the loser walks away with no pay for the night. This particular match has quite the history. Dream and Sugar were actually catching on with the fans during their time as Sweet Dreams until Dream turned on Sugar and joined the All-Stars.

The bell rings and Dream charges but gets back dropped. Dream staggers up as Sugar dropkicks him down. Dream staggers up again and gets scooped slammed down. Sugar swings off the ropes and hits a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Sugar picks up Dream and slams him down. Sugar goes to the top rope. Dream slowly rises as Sugar attempts a missile dropkick, but Dream moves as Sugar hits the canvas.

Dream clears the cobwebs and stomps away on Sugar. Dream starts choking Sugar then releases at the Ref's 5 count. Dream starts choking again. Dream drags Sugar to the ropes and rakes his face across the top rope. Dream picks up Sugar and throat drops him on the top rope. Dream hoists Sugar up and vertical suplexes him 1..2..Kick Out. Dream berates the Ref. Dream swings Sugar into the corner and charges in, but Sugar moves as Dream hits hard.

Sugar regroups as Dream rolls out of the ring. Dream pulls out a foreign object and gets back in the ring. Sugar goes towards Dream. Dream takes a big swing but Sugar ducks and gives Dream a jumping headbutt. The foreign object fly's out of Dream's hand. Sugar grabs Dream and hits another jumping headbutt. Dream starts to go down as Sugar hits a sunset flip 1..2..3!!

Al: That's right I did. Lou just needed a little guidance. I told him to forget about these fans and focus on this team. I mean look at us Larry. Are we hot or what?

Lou: Al's got a point. We're definitely the best looking tag team, now all we need is some gold.

AWA International Champ 'The Red Rooster' Terry Taylor vs. Sam Smith

taylor2.jpg.7348a55b742218972fa6ce9021403ea6.jpg

Taylor spends a lot of time strutting around between wrestling moves. He finishes things off with the flying five arm.

Nelson: Ok Terry, in 2 weeks right here on TV, you will be defending your title in a rematch with Leo Burke.

Taylor: (Slicks back his ponytail) Really? Again? I beat that guy fair and square in Alaska and he gets a rematch?

Nelson: I wouldn't exactly call it fair. That's why Leo is getting a rematch.

Taylor: You talk too much Nelson. Look, I run this henhouse and this title proves it. Fine, I'll beat loser Leo again, no problem, because like I've said, I walk it like I talk it.

Skandor Akbar is in St. Paul.

This match is hard hitting and chaotic. Karachi Vice fights fire with fire and goes toe to toe breaking the rules with the Moondogs. After a few minutes of wild action, Karachi Vice is in control. Resnick: Welcome to this week's SuperClash 4 update. The place, Denver's McNichols Arena, the date, January 3rd. The event, SuperClash 4. Last week we found out that rock sensation Pat Benatar will kick things off with America the Beautiful. We also heard the first match signed between Paul Orndorff and Stan Hansen. As you know every year at SuperClash a tag team battle royal is held with the winners getting a shot at the National tag titles. Well, this year there will be a tag team battle royal. Only this time it will be for the AWA National tag titles. Gerry Morrow made this decision after the Rock n Roll Express relinquished these titles last week. And speaking of the RnR Express, they will get their world tag title shot at SuperClash against the Fantastics. Wow! Talk about a dream match. Ok, see you next week for another update.

AWA World Tag Champs The Fantastics vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez

fantastics.jpg.6f85e182fbf652ccdbdec5b7a7ca6f6b.jpg

The Fantastics look crisp as they win the match with the Rocket Launcher.

Nelson: OK Fantastics, in a wild turn of events, the RnR Express relinquished the National titles to go after the world titles. As of now that means they will face you two at SuperClash. What's your thoughts on all this?

Fulton: Hey, we have the upmost respect for the Rock n Roll Express and everything they've achieved. However, we think they made a big mistake giving up the National titles.

Rogers: That's right. You know, Bobby and I went through hell with the Guerreros to get these titles and we've been taking on all comers since. RnR seem to think they're going to simply take these from us at SuperClash. Think again!

Fulton: It's not going to happen. We're looking forward to matching skills but in the end, the Fantastics are going to show the world just who the best team in wrestling is.

Sugar gets some Sweet revenge on Dream Machine.

Latin Desire would look good with some titles I must admit.

Taylor takes his rematch with Burke in stride.

Anyone else surprised that the Moondogs were smart enough to steal a win without Akbar?

Morrow takes advantage of a conveniently placed battle royal to crown new National Tag champs.

The Mighty Yankee may have just taken out a Olympian.

The Fantastics are fired up to take on the Express.

Muraco's dark side comes out and I don't think Graham likes what he saw.

We all hope Nikita will make it. OK, let's get to the ring.

Hogan and Nikita are standing tall.

Wait a minute!

Out walks COL. DEBEERS.

He strolls around the ring twirling his mustache.

Hogan sees him and demands he gets into the ring.

Debeers smiles and points behind Hogan.

Hogan turns around

WHAM!

WHAT THE HELL?!?!

Nikita Koloff puts Hogan down with a Russian Sickle!!!!

The crowd goes into a stunned silence.

Debeers pulls something out from under the ring. It's Nikita's old Russian chain. Debeers goes into the ring and hands Nikita the chain. Nikita wraps the chain around his arm. Huber with a solid showing.

Konnan and Canek join up to fight Devastation Inc.

Larry and Bruno's boy need to be pulled apart.

The All-Stars aren't faring so well in Morrow's series.

St Clair and Colon go to another draw.

Damn. Nikita helps put down Stevens' men only to lay out Hogan himself. I wonder what the connection with Debeers is?
