Timbo Slice
*Sings Auld Lang Syne* *Hangs head remembering vacation is over and there’s work that needs to be done* *Remembers he has Hook* SEND HOOK
sek69
Got terrified by a headline saying "Cody doesn't want Hook to be an ironic wrestler".....please keep him as far away as possible
sek69
Also it's always kind of weird to see AEW folks on social media acting like Rampage isn't a taped show. I get why they do it, but it's always going to be slightly jarring to see folks bantering over a match that took place two days ago.
Loss
Cole was mentioned as the new #1 contender.
MoS
Just now, Loss said: Cole was mentioned as the new #1 contender. Guessing Punk v. MJF at the PPV along with Hangman-Cole? Hangman-Cole is a bold choice to main event a PPV given neither of the two were in the national spotlight until essentially a few months ago, but I like that AEW back their young wrestlers. Atlas is actually looking really good, pity he got injured. Really hope it's not serious. Funnily enough, he is actually big for the AEW roster, although that might be because Adam Cole has no definition

MoS
Fuck man, of all the moves he did in the match, he got injured on a basic springboard into a kick bump. Wrestling really fucks you over on the most elementary of moves.
Loss
Dustin vs Sammy on Saturday now.
MoS
lol "due to covid medical protocol" just either say he has covid or say he got exposed to someone who has covid lol. Also, they knew this yesterday (my time at least) but waited until the show to announce the replacement match? That's bullshit. It's something we would criticise WWE for, they could've easily announced this with the announcement about the card change.
Blehschmidt
Been a fan of Atlas for a while, and he was looking fantastic out there. Just so unfortunate for him. I really hope it's not serious. Looks like Cody has Covid!

Announcing it a day in advance is more than the WWE ever does for anything but COVID issues.
sek69
Also I'm always a little taken back by Hook's slim physique not in a "he needs to get on the gas" way, but a "I just assumed someone who's 50% Taz DNA would be stockier than that" way. MoS
HOOK might be an ironic meme wrestler, but he is unironically over with the live crowds, and he genuinely has potential. He needs to throw better punches though, his striking looks like Ronda Rousey's in MMA

sek69
Hook has those "shoot fighter who doesn't want to fuck someone up for real so is noticeably pulling punches" strikes.

MoS
What a fucking fight. Much better Rampage than usual, although that is partly due to AEW figuring how to add crowd noise in an organic way, which is cheating
gonzalez
Andrade is officially acting like a cartel boss, and talking about human trafficking. This is how I’ve been wanting him to act since they dropped the mouthpiece manager. And he’s improved so much with using his broken English to his advantage when portraying this character. He’s like a bigger Juventud Guerrera.
Stiva
Hobbs, Hook and Starks could very quietly be a real breakout trio in 2022. All three have great presence and should, in theory, complement each other nicely as on-screen characters. Throw in Taz as the mouthpiece and suddenly Team Taz is looking like something investing real time in
