spaldoni Posted November 8 Report Posted November 8 Nice recap of Havoc and now off to the Clash Looking forward to the battle royal and who Sting will face Rockers better be ready because Doom's in the zone Sid wants Sting but might have to go toe to toe with El Gigante first With all the big men here, I can't wait to see who the Undertaker faces Who knows, maybe Pillman could get Muta on his side Luger makes it known he's getting the title back Oh man after losing the US titles to the Freebirds, the Samoans are coming for Demolition's heads. I like the direction WCW is going. 1990 is going to end on an epic high note

We’ve got a lot of action, plus the top 10… and the Dangerous Alliance in six-man action right here… let’s go to the ring! Ricky Steamboat kicks us off with a great victory. Doom looks dominant with Teddy Long putting them through the roof. Skinner with a good win… he’s got some momentum. The Barbarian kills some guy… like they have to come drag him out of the ring… Demolition with a tag team win… Smash is outside the ring… these three are working through as a trio but then double and triple team at their pleasure. WCW Top 10 WCW Champion - Sting Nikita Koloff - US Champion The Great Muta Lex Luger Scott Hall - TV Champion Ricky Steamboat Rick Rude Curt Hennig Sid Vicious Flyin Brian The Barbarian In our main event on Power Hour… we see the Dangerous Alliance in six-man tag team action against the Armstrongs. Scott gets the hell beat out of him… Bob puts up a tough fight… Brad looks fantastic in the ring but Rude, Hall, and Hennig are overpowering… these guys are on a different level and we see Scott eat the Diamond Death Drop… wait just a second… Paul E comes over and says… it isn’t the Diamond Death Drop any more…. Just like the newest AC/DC album… it is called the RAZOR’S EDGE! The Dangerous Alliance gets the win… Brad doesn’t look like he’s done yet… but Bob pulls him back to check on his brother… this one might have something to it… World Championship Wrestling Jim Ross & Bobby Heenan It is all about the World Title tonight and fans we’ve got a lot on the line. The crowd is buzzing as we see some of the top WCW stars making their way down to the ring! We’re kicking it off… 20-man battle royal… winner goes on to Clash of the Champions to take on Sting… here we go! 20-man battle royal including: Lex Luger, Sid Vicious, Nikita Koloff, Davey Boy Smith, Owen Hart, Big Josh, Crush, Fatu, Samu, Tonga, Demolition Ax, Demolition Smash, Kama, Skinner, The Barbarian, Brad Armstrong, El Gigante, Savio Vega, Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker, and Lt. James Earl Wright A helluva fight breaks out in the aisleway with Demolition and the Samoans! Oh my! 6 of our 14 are already out of here and the crowd is going nuts… we haven’t even started this one yet… We’re back from break and the 14 men are in the ring now… Demolition and the Samoans have already been disqualified… the bell hasn’t rang yet… wait just a damn minute… Sid Vicious is on one side of the ring… El Gigante is on the other side of the ring… they are eyeing one another up… Wait a minute… here comes the Great Muta! Muta walks down and he steps in the ring…but it only lasts a moment because here comes Ricky Steamboat! Steamboat comes down and he’s yelling at Muta saying he wants him at the Clash! Now we’re at 16… wait a moment… what is… The Dangerous Alliance walks out… Paul E says that if anyone is going to go after the World title… it is the Dangerous Alliance… they step up… now we’re at 19… we get ready for the bell… but wait just a moment…that music… number 20… oh my… FLYING BRIAN Runs down to the ring and he goes right after the Dangerous Alliance! Well the 20 we thought….and the 20 we got… not the same… but for better or worse here we go! The crowd explodes for Sid and El Gigante who both get attacked right from the beginning by the faces and heels and get tossed out! Two of the favorites are gone and now officials are out here trying to keep them apart from one another! We then get a fun moment where Flyin Brian goes toe to toe with the Dangerous Alliance but then he gets some backup from Owen and Davey Boy! Oh my! We’ve got a huge fight on the other side of the ring with Muta and Steamboat clawing away at one another… but then Luger goes and flips them both over the top to the floor! The Barbarian goes on a tear and eliminates Big Josh, Skinner, Savio Vega, and the State Patrol… but he turns around and Nikita comes with a clothesline and takes him out of the ring and to the floor! Brad Armstrong then gets his hands on Lex Luger and they throw some nice shots at one another. A huge moment happens when Owen and Davey Boy eliminate Scott Hall…. Rude and Hennig eliminate Davey and Owen… and then Pillman runs and hits a cross body on both of them and they all go out of the ring to the floor! We’re down to Luger, Kama, Nikita, and Brad Armstrong. We’ve got a four-way brawl going… Harley Race comes out and he is trying to call the shots… he even goes in there to try and hurt Brad but Bullet Bob comes out of the back and the crowd pops when he nails Harley Race with a huge right hand! Brad watches on and that’s enough for Luger to come and clothesline him out of the ring to the floor… Nikita comes and then he grabs Luger… he hoists him over the top… Race is stirring… he goes over and tells Kama to go for it… what the hell is going on here… Kama runs and nails both men and Nikita and Luger go flying over the top to the floor! Kama has won it! Kama will go on to the Clash and face Sting! We come back from break and Lex Luger is out here and he’s throwing a temper tantrum as Kama is celebrating. He is screaming at Race and Kama but Race says it is all part of the plan! He says to trust him… he isn’t happy… Our second match… after about 35-40 minutes of our battle royal broadcast… sees Bullet Bob and Scott Armstrong in tag team action. They look good even though Bob is at the tail end of his career. Brad is out here cheering them on. We get a promo from Ricky Steamboat… he says he wants it official… he and Muta at the Clash… we’ll hear from JJ Dillon on the matter coming up… The Freebirds get a nice tag team win… filling out our card today. DDP is pumping them up outside the ring. The new US tag team champions look prime and put it all together tonight. We get a promo from Teddy Long as he pumps up Doom… they face the Rockers at the Clash… tag titles on the line and Teddy says history will be made! Big time moment as the Undertaker makes his way out for a match… the crowd is stirring… this guy has all that aura… Paul Bearer adds so much to the presentation… Taker handles his opponent with ease… even hitting the top rope clothesline… then the Tombstone… his opponent… an unnamed fella… he gets wrapped into a body bag… what the hell is going on here… We get JJ Dillon out here… he runs down the Clash… he says that Sting will in fact take on Kama and defend the WCW title… the Rockers will defend the WCW Tag Titles against Doom… plus we’ll see a special match… the Samoans vs Demolition in a Tribal Match… this will be in a specially designed arena… and the main event… yes… for this match… this moment… a 60-minute Iron Man Match… Ricky Steamboat and The Great Muta will go one on one! The man with the most falls at the end of the 60-minutes will be the winner! Johnny Ace with a decent win. We’ve got the Dangerous Alliance out here calling out every single memer of the WCW roster and committee about the travesty and garbage that happened earlier tonight. They deserve to be the number one contenders and now that they have the TV title… they’re coming for ALL THE GOLD! The Rockers in tag team action against the Shadows… good win and they pump up their big confrontation with Doom at the Clash. The final moments of the show see Sting come out with the World Title. He puts over the big win at Halloween Havoc… the big battle royal tonight… he says he was excited to see every single one of those guys in the ring… he is not going to hide behind the title… he is going to defend it… any and all comers… this brings out Harley Race… he’s got Kama with him… Luger is coming out… Sting says he wants all that smoke baby! Kama gets up on the apron and Sting with a dropkick in the back and Kama goes flying! Sting is ready for a fight and now Luger is trying to get in the ring but it is Race who is backing him out! No World Wide this week due to a special showing of Dirty Harry on TBS.

You find ways to keep certain guys looking good even in defeat. Some huge matches coming. I agree with Eric.... Steamboat vs Muta is going to be great. I recently saw an interview with Steamboat and he talked about wrestling Muta in long matches and it was very frustrating. He said that he had trouble getting Muta to settle into some sort of pace in these 45 minutes as Muta always wanted to go 1000 MPH. Either way, it would be awesome to watch.
