Yes, their contracts expired and they did not re-sign. They are apparently a little bit difficult to deal with, and are very reluctant to do jobs. They supposedly have a pronounced independent streak which is why WWE has never had much interest. If you believe the rumours.

MJF was also in the Von Erichs movie as well as being a producer, so I would imagine they will be there promoting that.

Yeah I think this is probably just because of the movie and because Dynamite is in Dallas. I don’t see the Von Erich brothers in AEW, but who knows. Anything is possible, I guess. Lord knows the AEW Tag Division could use some fresh blood.
