NotJayTabb
What I'm enjoying about this is that you aren't trying to improve a bad product, you've set yourself the challenge of trying to improve one of the best years of TV for any US promotion, which adding a prime Bret Hart definitely helps with. Really good stuff.
Grimmas
Note: I completely screwed up the schedule; the March 7th Saturday Night was taped on March 3rd. So, it wasn't taped before SuperBrawl, so yeah, my mistake. This show is from the same night, and going forward, I'll try to post double tapings on the same post to avoid confusion. Saturday Night Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA March 14, taped March 3 Hosted by Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura. A. The show opens with The Dangerous Alliance in the ring, and Paul E. Dangerously goes on and on about how The Dangerous Alliance took out Ricky Steamboat at SuperBrawl II and how they got around Bad News Allen's silly ban of them from ringside. Dangerously took the time to hype Steve Austin as the greatest wrestler on TV, and he would prove it tonight in his title defense against some nobody he'd never heard of. Larry is the Cruncher and a legend, and Windham is too scared to fight him without silly gimmicks. Eaton & Anderson are the greatest tag team in wrestling history, and they made a challenge to the WCW United States Tag Team Champions, The Rock 'n' Roll Express. Rick Rude is the best wrestler in the world, and nobody can take the US Title from him. Finally, he praised Madusa as the uncrowned, until WrestleWar, best women's wrestler in the world. Each wrestler who was hyped got their own moment on the mic, too. Ross and Ventura asked is there any group that could stop their reign of carnage? 1. Reggie Bennett squashed Denis Storm. 2. Vinnie Vegas w/ Diamond Dallas Page pinned Tom Zenk w/ Marcus Alexand Bagwell. Afterward, Bagwell tried to help Zenk, but Vegas & DDP attacked him. 3. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine made Joey Maggs submit to the Figure-Four Leglock. A. Jim Ross is joined by The Steiner Brothers in the ring, who say they want their titles back. Jim Ross says Bigelow & Vader are a hard team to beat and there are teams like Eaton & Anderson to deal with. The Steiners say they will take on anyone, and they relish the chance to take out The Dangerous Alliance along the way. 4. Brian Pillman defeated Van Hammer. After the match, Jim Ross asked what was next for Pillman and his WCW World Light Heavyweight Championship. He welcomes challenges from all over the world. 5. Bret "Hitman" Hart w/ Ron Simmons defeated Abdullah the Butcher w/ Cactus Jack via hitting the elbow drop off the second rope. Simmons hit Jack at bay. A. Jim Ross is joined by Harley Race, who disowned Lex Luger. Luger wanted to do it alone and he lost the title. A title Race will get back next week when The Best From The East ends Sting. 6. The Main Event Too Cold Scorpio defeated WCW Television Champion "Stunning" Steve Austin w/ Paul E. Dangerously with a 450 splash to win the title. Scorpio came in unknown but hit all his cool moves to shock everyone. Austin acted very arrogant, and Dangerously was surprised by all this. Austin did have control, though, due to Dangerously's cheating. As Scorpio made a comeback, Dangerously hit him with a phone, but Dustin Rhodes ran in and nailed Austin, putting Scorpio on top to win. As the show closed and Ross and Ventura discussed The Alliance showing cracks and Scorpio's shock title win, they hyped that Bam Bam Bigelow will face Sting for the WCW World Title here next week! Grimmas
Let's change it up and post tapings at the same time to avoid confusion. Saturday Night Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA March 21, taped March March 18 Hosted by Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura. They hype the WCW World Title match tonight on free TV! A. Harley Race is backstage with Missy Hyatt, and he shows clips of Bam Bam Bigelow and Big Van Vader winning the IWGP Tag Team Championship from Hiroshi Hase and The Great Muta. Tonight, they will gather more gold as Bigelow becomes the WCW World Champion! 1. WCW World Television Champion Too Cold Scorpio defeated Steve Austin w/ Paul E. Dangerously after Barry Windham punched Austin, leading to the Scorpio Splash. After Windham starred down Austin as he congratulated Scorpio/ 2. Diamond Dallas Page w/ Vinnie Vegas defeated Van Hammer after Vegas knocked him out. After the match, DDP challenged Marcus Alexander Bagwell. 3. WCW United States Champion Rick Rude w/ Paul E. Dangerously defeated Brad Armstrong in a non-title match. 4. The Glamour Girls (Judy Martin & Leilani Kai) defeated Bambi & Malia Hosaka. 5. The Main Event WCW World Heavyweight Champion Sting defeated Bam Bam Bigelow w/ Harley Race via disqualification after The Dangerous Alliance attacked him. Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham, and Ricky Steamboat tried to make the save, but Bigelow and The Alliance together were too much until Nikita Koloff came to Sting's aid and chased them off. Sting's group was unsure how to react to Koloff. Saturday Night Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA March 28, taped March March 18 Hosted by Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura. Jesse has a special guest up first to start the show, and Jim Ross hypes The Steiner Brothers vs the former US Tag Team Champions Armstrong & Smothers for the main event. A. Jesse Ventura brought Nikita Koloff to the ring to ask about last week. Koloff said he saw his buddy Sting in trouble and had to help him out. Ventura says he knows Sting & Koloff have a complicated history. Sting arrived and said he was not sure if he could trust Koloff, to which Koloff responded by saying he would make him trust him. 1. The US Tag Team Champions The Rock 'n' Roll Express defeated The WCW Patriots (Firebreaker Chip & Todd Champion) when they hit a double dropkick. A. Marcus Alexander Bagwell accepted DDP's challenge for next week. 2. Madusa w/ Paul E. Dangerously squashed Lisa Starr. A. The brackets for the WCW World Women's Title Tournament will be announced next week. 3. Bret Hart made Johnny B. Badd submit to the Sharpshooter. A. Cactus Jack challenged Ron Simmons to a singles match next week, one-on-one! 4. 5. The Main Event The Steiner Brothers defeated Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smothers via super bulldog. They cut a promo after saying they wanted the belts.

Grimmas
Let's skip ahead to WrestleWar, but first, here are the main things to happen on TV outside of squashes and regular promos. TV before Nitro is interesting, but I may do this sometimes. TV from April 4 to May 16, 1992 Recap Sting forms his Squadron to take on The Dangerous Alliance at WrestleWar in War Games. The final member is Nikita Koloff, whom Sting is not sure if he can trust, and Dangerously really tries to plant the seeds that he can't be trusted. The Steiner Brothers go on a rampage and want the Tag Titles back, but can they beat Bam Bam Bigelow and Vader, led by Harley Race? In singles matches, they couldn't. Bret Hart wants to prove he's the best there is, so he accepts a challenge from the best in NJPW, Tatsumi Fujinami, for a singles match at WrestleWar. The WCW World Women's Title Tournament is held with two 8-woman brackets. One in WCW and one in AJW, with the two winners squaring off at WrestleWar. The AJW matches, taped in Japan, are aired on WCW Main Event. In Japan, Kyoko Inoue won the tournament that included Sakie Hasegawa, Takako Inoue, Etsuko Mita, Mima Shimoda, Akira Hokuto, Bison Kimura, & Mariko Yoshida. While on WCW TV, Madusa won her bracket defeating Debbie Malenko, Reggie Bennett, Judy Martin, Leilani Kai, Malia Hosaka, Rockin' Robin, Terri Powers, & Denise Storm. Too Cold Scorpio has retained the WCW Television Championship and will now face his toughest challenge in Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. WCW World Light Heavyweight Champion Brian Pillman has opened his title up to the world and will face El Samurai from NJPW. The Catus Jack and Ron Simmons war has raged on. Their match on April 4th went to a double DQ as they both brawled with weapons. They tried another match, but it ended with another double DQ. They will have a Jacksonville Street Fight at WrestleWar. The DDP and Bagwell feud continued, with DDP always having Vinnie Vegas help him get wins. DDP and Vegas are getting cocky and challenged for the US Tag Team Titles at WrestleWar, and Bagwell promised to be in the corner of the champions to make sure they don't cheat their way to gold. WrestleWar 1992 Card Sting's Squadron (Sting, Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, & Nikita Koloff) vs The Dangerous Alliance (Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Larry Zbyszko, & Steve Austin) w/ Paul E. Dangerously in a War Games match WCW World Tag Team Champions Big Van Vader & Bam Bam Bigelow vs/ Harley Race vs The Steiner Brothers Bret Hart vs Tatsumi Fujinami WCW World Women's Championship Tournament Finals: Madusa vs Kyoko Inoue WCW World Television Champion Too Cold Scorpio vs Greg "The Hammer" Valentine WCW World Light Heavyweight Champion Brian Pillman vs El Samurai Cactus Jack vs Ron Simmons in a Jacksonville Street Fight The United States Tag Team Champions The Rock 'n' Roll Express w/ Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs Diamond Dallas Page & Vinnie Vegas How do we feel going into WrestleWar? Hercules' debut in WCW was an easy squash. Result: Hercules defeated Todd Champion with the Torture Rack. WCW WrestleWar '92 "War Games" The show opens with a video package promoting War Games and Sting's Squadron vs Dangerous Alliance feud. It poses the question of whether Sting can trust Nikita Koloff. Tony Schivaone and Missy Hyatt hype various matches they are excited about tonight. Ron Simmons' music hits, and they send it to Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura for the call. [Jacksonville Street Fight] Cactus Jack vs Ron Simmons Cactus attacks before Simmons even got in the ring with a chair, and they start to brawl all over the arena and into the crowd. Weapons and violence and Jack taking a beating, but not giving up. In the end, Simmons powerslams Cactus onto a pile of chairs for the win. Cactus refuses help to the back. Result: Ron Simmons defeated Cactus Jack with a powerslam. Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews WCW President Bad News Allen, who says What a great opener. He then announced the return of the Jim Crockett Memorial Cup, with the first round happening at Clash of the Champions #19 and the remaining matches taking place at The Great American Bash! [WCW World Light Heavyweight Championship Match] Champion Brian Pillman vs El Samurai (from NJPW) An exciting match that Pillman wins in a closely contested match with the Samurai, hitting a ridiculous dive mid-match. Result: Brian Pillman retained the title over El Samurai with a rollover. Backstage, Missy Hyatt interviews Diamond Dallas Page and Vinnie Vegas. DDP hits on her grossly, and he and Vegas promise to end the senior's tour of The Rock 'n' Roll Express' title reign. If Bagwell interviews, they will put him back in the hospital. [WCW United States Tag Team Championship Match] Champions The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) w/ Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs Diamond Dallas Page & Vinnie Vegas DDP hides behind Vegas, who did the bulk of the work. Bagwell chased DDP a few times, but near the end, he chased him to the back only for Bagwell to be laid out by a clown, who was in the crowd. Back in the ring, Vegas was double dropkicked to the floor, leaving DDP alone and pinned by Morton. Result: The Rock 'n' Roll Express retained their titles when Morton pinned DDP with a small package. Tony Schiavone tried to interview the clown, who laughed and mocked him. [WCW World Television Championship Match] Champion Too Cold Scorpio vs Greg "The Hammer" Valentine Valentine took control of the knee, trying to ground Scorpio. He even got the figure-four, but Scorpio made the ropes. He tried the 450 Splash, but missed, causing more knee pain. As Hammer went for the figure-four again, Scorpio rolled him up for the flash pin. Result: Too Cold Scorpio retained his title over Greg Valentine with a roll-up. Tony Schiavone is with The Dangerous Alliance. Madusa will win the WCW Women's Championship next, setting the stage for the end of Sting and his Squadron in War Games. [WCW World Women's Championship Tournament Finals] Madusa w/ Paul E. Dangerously vs Kyoko Inoue (from AJW) Madusa cheats and is the heel, and Kyoko fights back from underneath. She does her giant swing in the match, but while the referee checks on Madusa, Dangerously tripped her, who lands on Madusa and gets the pin to win the tournament and the title. Result: Kyoko Inoue defeated Madusa to win the title. Missy Hyatt interviews Bret Hart backstage. He says he's the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. The first step of proving that is to defeat the best in the world, and Tatsumi Fujinami is the best in NJPW. [The International Challenge] Bret "Hitman" Hart vs Tatsumi Fujinami Bret plays a subtle heel, and they go about 19 minutes of back and forth action. Bret works the leg, but so does Fujinami. When Fujinami goes for the Dragon Sleeper, Bret walks the ropes and flips over, causing Fujinami to essentially pin himself. Result: Bret Hart defeats Tatsumi Fujinami by reversing a hold. Tony Schiavone brings out the WCW World Tag Team Champions with Harley Race. They hype their match. Another area, Missy Hyatt interviews The Steiners, who also hype the match. [WCW World Tag Team Championship] Champions Bam Bam Bigelow & Big Van Vader w/ Harley Race vs The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner) A battle between hosses. You can imagine the battle these two teams would have. In the end of a closely knit battle, Scott Steiner goes for the Frankensteiner, but Vader counters it into a Power Bomb for the win. Result: Bam Bam Bigelow & Big Van Vader retain their titles when Vader hits a Power Bomb on Scott Steiner. Tony Schiavone is with Sting's Squadron before the main event. He asks about Koloff, who says he will do what is right. A video package is played hyping the main event and explaining the rules. [War Games] Sting's Squadron (Sting, Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes, Nikita Koloff, & Ricky Steamboat) vs The Dangerous Alliance (Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Larry Zbyszko, Rick Rude, & Steve Austin) w/ Paul E. Dangerously
Autistic Dragon
It returns! Classic Cactus Jack performance in the opener, goes down in defeat but looks tough as hell doing so. I'm not familiar with El Samurai but it sounds like he & Pillman had a barnburner. I presume when you say Page "hits [Hyatt] Grossly" you mean he hit ON her and not actually hit her? Either way the Express teach his boys some manners. Scorpio gets a nice rub beating the legend Valentine. Paul E talks big but costs his client. Love the ending to Hart/Fujinami, great call forward. With the Steiner's going down, who can take the tag straps off Race's monsters? Smart call not messing with the main event.

Autistic Dragon
I know he's the same guy who becomes Raven but Scott Flamingo taking temporary head of the Dangerous Alliance is still weird to think about. Speaking of the Alliance, Paul E wastes no time ditching Zbyszko for his screw-up. So the Hammer is scouting the younger talent. The question is.....why? Notes: The WCW US Tag team Champions were announced as getting a WCW World Tag Team Title shot at Beach Blast against champions Vader & Bigelow. Vader & Bigelow will destroy the old timers and retire them for good. The clown appeared again and dumped a bucket of water on the ring announcer. Marcus Bagwell chased him off. They hype up the big matches and make predictions before Double Inoue makes their entrance. [Match 01: Women's Tag] Madusa & Reggie Bennett vs Double Inoue (Kyoko Inoue & Takako Inoue) A high-speed battle mixed with the power of Bennet with lots of double-teaming that went back and forth. Result: Madusa & Reggie Bennett defeated Double Inoue when Madusa pinned Takako Inoue with a German Suplex in 7:14. Missy Hyatt interviews Vinnie Vegas and Diamond Dallas Page. DDP hits on Missy again and gets physical. Simmons shows up and chases them off. He then offers Missy his hand as he heads to the ring. [Match 02] Vinnie Vegas w/ Diamond Dallas Page vs Ron Simmons w/ Missy Hyatt Missy Hyatt comes to ringside with Simmons. Vegas dominates early. He has a fiery comeback. DDP tries to stop it, but Missy stops him, which distracts Vegas, who gets hit by a spinebuster. Result: Ron Simmons pinned Vinnie Vegas with the Spinebuster in 7:10. Tony Schiavone is backstage and welcomes in The Dangerous Alliance. Steve Austin corrects him that Scotty Flamingo is not a member. Flamingo says, not yet. Eaton seems unimpressed with the obnoxious Flamingo as Flamingo gives an annoying promo, saying he will earn his spot tonight! Tony asks Austin about Paul E., and Austin says Paul E. will appear later tonight after Arn Anderson destroys that loser Larry Zbyszko. [Match 03: Scott Flamingo's Dangerous Alliance Audition Match] "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton, "Stunning" Steve Austin, & Scotty Flamingo vs WCW World Television Champion Too Cold Scorpio & The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner) After a competitive battle between everybody else, Flamingo is tagged in and suddenly is in peril. The faces take turns beating him up, and when he goes for the tag, Austin and Eaton walk out, leaving him alone. Scorpio finishes him off. Result: Too Cold Scorpio & The Steiner Brothers defeated Bobby Eaton, Steve Austin, & Scotty Flamingo when Scorpio pinned Flamingo after the 450 splash in 12:33. Tony Schiavone interviews Bret Hart before his match. He is coming for Rude and the US Title. He puts over Windham, saying it will be a tough challenge. [Match 04: WCW United States Championship #1 Contenders Match] Barry Windham vs Bret "Hitman" Hart Hart works over the leg of Windham, but Windham gets plenty of hope spots. He gets a big run of offense toward the finish, but hitting the Superplex injures his leg too much. Bret puts on the Sharpshooter for the win. Result: Bret Hart defeated Barry Windham by making him submit to the Sharpshooter in 17:27. Tony Schiavone interviews The Rock 'n' Roll Express. They are the US Tag Champions; they will win the World Titles tonight and then the Crockett Cup and prove they are the greatest tag team of all time. [Match 05: WCW World Tag Team Championship] Champions Bam Bam Bigelow & Big Van Vader w/ Harley Race vs The Rock' n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) Morton played face-in-peril for the monster team, as expected. The hot tag brings in Gibson, and a double dropkick to Bigelow gets them a really close near fall, but Vader makes the save. Vader hits a moonsault, and then Bigelow a flying headbutt on Gibson for the win after Vader power bombed Morton on the apron. Result: Bigelow & Vader retained their titles over The Rock' n' Roll Express when Bigelow pinned Gibson with a flying headbutt in 17:29. Tony Schiavone interviews Arn Anderson backstage.
