Airing live on NBC, The World Wrestling Federation proudly presents...

Saturday Night's Main Event - Wikipedia

*Boris Zhukov stands in front of a WWF banner*

October 18, 1990.

Hersheypark Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

On Commentary: Gorilla Monsson

Zhukov: Volkoff, you are a disgrace to our glorious Soviet Union. But what else to expect from a Lithunanian? Tonight I show all these weak Americans what a true Russian can do!

*Cut to Koko B Ware*

Ware: Jerry Lawler, you think you can just walk into the World Wrestling Federation and call ya-self the King? That ain't how it works brotha. But i'll tell ya what, ya gonna learn a lesson brotha, a lesson everybody in in the World Wrestling Federation knows in they hearts and that is brotha, to beware Koko B Ware.

*Cut to Sherri, Haku and Power & Glory*

Sherri: Tonight my oh so Pretty Paul and the Mighty Hercules are gonna show off their Power as they tear through three other teams and move on to championship Glory. And then my Royal Assassin Haku is gonna rip the crown of Kevin Von Erich's head and crown me as the Queen of the WWF.

*Cut to Jim Duggan*

Duggan: Dino Bravo you want this WWF Intercontinental title back? Well there's only one way to do it and it takes just two easy steps. Step 1, tape'em up. Step 2, put'em up TOUGH GUY!

WWF Intercontiental Tag Team Championshi #1 Contenders Four Corners Elimination Match.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs Power & Glory (Paul Roma & Hercules Hernandez) w/"Sensational" Sherri Martel vs The Bushwhackers (Butch & Luke)

Order of elimination.

Power & Glory eliminate the Bushwhackers with the "Power-plex."

The Fantastics eliminate Power & Glory with a surprise sunset flip on Roma.

The Fantastics eliminate Badd Company with the Rocket Launcher. One Man Gang came down to interfere but was intercepted by a returning Bad News Brown.

Winners: The Fantastics.

As The Fantastics are celebrating, loud, aggressive and oddly squeaky music comes over the pa. The camera pans to the aisle way where...

Nasty Boys - Online World of Wrestling

Ventura: Looks like things are about to get Nasty in the tag division Go-rilla!

The Nasty Boyz are back and they are headed for the ring. They're talking trash to the Fantastics who don't back down despite being clearly tired. Things are heating up when security hits the ring and separates the two teams.

Jerry "The King" Lawler defeats Koko B Ware after catching him coming off the top rope with a chain-wrapped fist. He then dragged Ware closer to the corner and (after removing the chain) hit a (completely unneeded) second rope fistdrop.

King's Court Match.

"The Golden Warrior" Kevin Von Erich defeats Haku w/"Sensational" Sherri Martel by DQ, Haku had the "Tongan Death Grip" on Von Erich who summoned the strength to apply the "Iron Claw" in return. During this stalemate, the Warlord stormed the ring and attacked Von Erich. This caused all the Courtiers to get involved and a riot to damm near break out. When the dust settled, Von Erich was laid out on the mat and Sherri was raising both Haku and the Warlord's hands.

Grudge match.

"Russian Brute" Boris Zhukov defeats "Lithuanian Giant" Nikolai Volkoff after hitting him with the Soviet flag. Not a good match by any means but to Zhukov's credit he heeled it up enough the crowd ended up cheering for Volkoff.

We get a video package informing fans that the 1990 edition of Survivor Series will air live on Pay Per View from the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut on November 23rd!

WWF Intercontinental Championship Taped Fist Match.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan(c) defeats "World's Strongest Man" Dino Bravo w/"Le Commandant" Frenchy Martin after Matin inadvertently hit Bravo with Brass knuckles. Duggan is celebrating with the fans when Earthquake comes down and we get a stare down between those two hosses.

The promos set the tone for SNME

Fantastics earned their shot at the titles but man a lot went down here. OMG gets some bad news and the WWF is about to get Nastasized!!

Lawler heels it up big time. Lawler's going to have a huge presence in the WWF

What a visual with the Tongan death grip and claw. Sherri just added some serious muscle to the stable with the Warlord.

Boris wins the battle of the Bolsheviks

Up next, Survivor Series!

Duggan gets the big win but he better be ready for the Earthquake coming.

Fun show with a lot of storylines moving in the right direction

Warlord shines in his debut with Sherri

The Ultimate Warrior is back and gearing a team up for Survivor Series. I know it's going to be one hell of a match with the Outlaws.

Slick uses one of the best movie lines ever from Rocky 3. Can't wait for more OMG/Bad News brawls

The Northern Invasion against Duggan and his hand picked patriots will be another SS clash

This episode was filled with muscle as Billy Jack and P&G get wins

Bad News and Nikolai cut some fired up promos

The Ultimate Warrior returns to the ring with a dominant win over the Genius.

The way you've been building, the SS is sure to be an awesome event!

Really fun SNME...

Loved all the quick promos before the matches.

I think your tag division is really stacked.  Just look at those teams in the 4 Corner Elimination Match.  The Fantastics vs The Nasty Boys... what a contrast in styles.  This should be awesome.

OMG vs Bad News.... re-enforce the ring... can't wait!

The King seems ready for big things.

1990 is a great time for a Russian vs a Lithuanian.  Times are a changing and wrestling is the perfect place to show it.  Great booking!

Hacksaw is a great babyface and you are using him so well.  He, like many of the WWF babyfaces have the size to deal with people like OMG and Earthquake.  Makes it fun to read and visualize.
