So with Bryan openly admitting he tries to hide it when he gets a concussion, my theory is that he got one before they left for the European tour and somewhere along the way someone figured it out. He was probably working the whole tour with a concussion. I am not sure how the medical staff became aware of it but I'm guessing they did and either decided immediately to pull him from the tour or ran him through some tests and then did so. Either way if it IS concussion related I'm sure they've run him through a battery of tests and the results are what is keeping him from coming back. As open as WWE was about just how bad Edge's neck situation was, if it was neck related I can't see them hiding it. I mean they kind of openly said on TV "Edge could die if he takes another bump." I don't see them taking the "wait and see" approach they seem to be doing now if it was his neck. If it was the nerve issue again then I don't see why they wouldn't have already sent him off to Denver to get treatment. With concussion awareness being where it is now, the only injury I could see WWE trying to hide is that one of their top stars has had so many that he's now having serious issues recovering. If that is the cause of it I don't see how that doesn't lead to him retiring VERY soon. I just don't know if Daniel Bryan would willingly do it though.

WWE is rarely secretive when it comes to what injuries guys have so this does seem kind of alarming that they keep pushing back his return without elaborating on what the issue is. I'm starting to think it's more concussion related than neck problems at this point. I would imagine if Bryan has had so many concussions that he can't get back to a baseline for their concussion testing that they wouldn't really want that getting out.

This is true. It would have lasted a lot longer as a fun undercard/midcard gimmick, especially if you give him a tag team partner. Him being a wrestling savant was actually really well done the first few weeks but it got too over and once he ran into HHH and Evolution it all went to shit.

There have been chants for Lana pretty much since day 1. She has never really played into them so her suddenly doing it last night WAS stupid. The thing they were going for pre-Mania was a much better story with "Lana shows compassion and loses Rusev's trust." It's a downgrade when you go from that to "Lana is suddenly an attention whore for the people she usually berates and tells to shut up"

I don't even think the Mania win was so bad, but they shouldn't have followed it up with Rusev losing AGAIN. Even if they had done a draw and not Rusev winning the chain match it would have been ok.

I want a new gimmick with someone in an entire costume made out of that color changing junk Naomi had on her shoes. Make it happen WWE. I didn't even watch the match because that's all I was thinking about.

Kamala is kind of an awful gimmick if you think about it too much but dude made a career out of it for like 20 years. I am a mark for The Boogeyman and I'm not ashamed to say it either. That guy went ALL IN on being The Boogeyman and that's what made it endearing to me.

I know a lot of people are going to look at his name and immediately dismiss him but that would be unfair. He has some really good high points with the HHH feud, the series with Undertaker & some of the Cena matches. He would probably benefit well from a retrospective view because he got stuck working long feuds with guys he had bad chemistry with like JBL, Khali & Booker T that caused him to get shit on more than he deserve at the time. He also had some really great tag matches with Rey against MNM.

I don't know what they are gonna do for Payback's main event. I assume some weak 4 way with Rollins/Orton/Kane/Reigns. As far as the chain match goes, since they actually did give a finish to Ambrose/Harper they should have gone the non-finish route for Cena/Rusev. They should have just had them both wind up touching the 4th corner at the same time. Then they could have done some long drawn out brawl afterwards that required a ton of people to break them up. They needed the time filler anyway.

This was a weird reverse of my usual WWE PPV watching habits where I skip most of the undercard and then watch the main event. I watched every match except Rollins/Orton because well, I just knew better. I didn't care about it going in and I figured there was no way they were going to outdo the LMS match. I expected Reigns/Show to be decent but they really blew away that expectation. I think the only problem with the match is that they went too long and they should have just finished on that huge Spear through the Spanish announce table. Flipping the table over on top of him was overkill especially since it didn't look like it was holding him down at all. I kind of think they need to start working towards getting the title onto Reigns at SummerSlam. I don't know if that means a triple threat Brock/Reigns/Rollins match though. My earlier thoughts questioning the match placement turned out to be totally wrong on my part. I thought Rusev/Cena was going to be much better than it was, and it's a good thing they DIDN'T save it until right before the main event because they would have left the PPV feeling even flatter than it did.

Yea they didn't work to the potential of the stip at all. Way too much cutesy corner touching bullshit and not enough "hey let me wrap this chain around my fist and punch you with it." It didn't NEED blood but a chain match without anyone being punched with it is fucking blasphemous. Dusty Rhodes is blowing a gasket somewhere.

Yea it really felt like they were actually building to SOMETHING happening with Kane being sent to go find them. They are putting Cena/Rusev on awful early. I feel like it's going to be hard to follow and they should have definitely put Reigns/Big Show on before it.
