  1. Hulk Hogan is an easy answer here. He still gets treated like he sucked in the ring. I could understand that back in the early 00s when footage was less available. But in this day and age there are tons of good Hogan matches out there. I'm not saying he was an all time great or anything but he was a more than competent worker that could hold up his end of a good to great match.
  2. I still am okay with the Bullet Club in New Japan. Where I really miss them is Chikara. They were perfect for Chikara and had a great run there. I really wish Quack could afford them.
  3. I enjoy them minus RoH. I think they always put on a good show.
  4. I had thought about reactivating just for following wrestling stuff (where guys are booked, new shows announced, etc.) but I just can't bring myself to do it because I remember how terrible it is. Social media in general is just a plague on humanity. Aside from the horrible culture and it is horrible and getting worse... Whoever is on the tech side of Twitter should be shot out of a cannon. I don't know how such a simple platform is such a bloated piece of shit that sucks up bandwidth like it's Happy Hour.
  5. You can. A lot of Fox affiliates are on Playstation Vue now and you can DVR it. Ring of Honor has been painfully behind the times when it comes to pricing. They're charging prices for what DVDs and PPV cost 7 years ago when the average fan expects to follow a promotion for $9.99 or less a month.
  6. Very little good comes from Twitter in general.
  7. They're supposedly getting a streaming service next year but I fully expect them to fuck it up.
  8. That's how you direct a comment to someone on Twitter. You put that before their username and they will see it.
  9. I wasn't talking about the Bucks in particular because I don't know if they do that. Just that it's happened to me for being critical of someone and never directing it at them and they block me for it.
  10. Their whole Twitter presence is basically doing their gimmick and ripping people who criticize them for flips, super kicks, etc. They are working 24/7. Thats old school. Also, anyone who @s a wrestler to rip them should fuck off. Likewise wrestlers or athletes that seek out mentions of themselves and block those people when they never @ them should get a fucking life.
  11. Should had happened 2 years ago. He should have beaten Jay Lethal for the TV Title 2 years ago and then won the World Title a year ago. But I think we're on the same page. He is by far the biggest star in the promotion and he should have the belt.
  12. The new tag set is fantastic: Rock N Roll Express Midnight Express Heavenly Bodies Sheepherders Fantastics Terry Gordy Steve Williams
  13. Should have happened a year ago.
  14. I also think with the success of the Ric Flair 30 for 30 and the upcoming Andre documentary that he's going to hold out for a higher profile type of project as well.
  15. I think they wanted them to be one and done and are skilled focused on that Brock/Roman match that they aren't exploring things that get hit along the way.
  16. I think they were either taping 2 weeks at a time during this era or they would tape on a Tuesday and air it on Thursday or Saturday,
  17. It's pretty easy to impose a disciplinary policy when your employees are "independent contractors" and don't have a union, much less a collective bargaining agreement. Goodell can issue out any punishment he wants and the CBA essentially allows it. They also have a policy after the Ray Rice situation and they still don't follow it. I wasn't aware he could issue an immediate, indefinite suspension upon a player being arrested. I'm not defending any particular action the NFL or WWE have taken, but it is apples and oranges. It would probably result in a lawsuit and the player would play a couple of games before eventually having to serve some sort of suspension. They can get you on conduct detrimental to the league for just about anything.
  18. I could be wrong but I feel like that happened in some weird limbo time when he wasn't around.

  20. Not to go too far off topic but I find it sadly hilarious that a pro wrestling company got this right with no public outcry while the NFL continues to fuck it up every single time.
  21. I enjoyed Rich Swann a lot. I'm glad the WWE could behave in a manner more responsible than the NFL in this situation.
  22. How bad was the dry eye afterwards?
  23. Just curious. I am extremely nearsighted and I've been considering getting it. I surprisingly don't know very many people that have gotten it done. So has anyone here gotten it done. Would you do it again? Was the laser to the eye weird?
  24. Matt Sydal just continues to piss his talent and career away.
  25. I think you're on to something there. I've seen a lot of talk about New Japan from people I have never seen show interest before.
