  1. Lance Von Angle got a good laugh out of me.
  2. I like how they spent all of that time in NXT trying to make you not think he was an Angle clone and then they made him an Angle clone.
  3. The AAA and Taya thing... TNA wishes they could be that bad.
  4. The Road Dogg promo right after Konnan and LAX attacked Bullet was probably the best promo he ever gave. No catchphrases and the emotion when he says "damn it that was my dad" was good shit. The matches were obviously going to suck but he sold me on wanting to see it.
  5. I'm months behind on NXT. I think it started getting boring as Roode started moving up the card.
  6. Yeah, I don't get the HHH love going on. This problem with babyfaces getting chumped constantly has him written all over it. You think he was kicking and screaming and resisting when he beat Sting at Mania when no one wanted to see it. Or he was forced to do that almost two year program with Rollins that no one wanted to see. Also, look at NXT. It's a cold product right now, the magic is gone.
  7. I think his first couple of big matches did okay. But he got stuck with HHH pretty quick and we all know how that goes.
  8. Yeah, but those other fighters lost without their aura getting shattered in the process. A lot of other MMA fighters haven't drawn in the U.S. with wrestling outside of Lesnar.
  9. I like the slimeball deal he's got going on. He's been consistently fun through the first 6 episodes.
  10. Meltzer wasn't buying this one Twitter yesterday FYI. I think it confirms a little too close to people's biases and it makes me skeptical of it. I think it's just as likely that Vince had never seen Talking Smack.
  11. Maybe the workers hated having to sit around for another hour top do the show and were bitching about it? I just started watching 205 Live from the start this weekend and Noam Dar is the best.
  12. I decided to watch 205 Live from the beginning. There are some big flaws with it like episode 2 being rematches from episode 1 but so far it's been a very compelling show and it's a shame none of these guys are over. My wife also seems to be enjoying it as well.
  13. I thought it was cool that ROH made sure more of their regular stops got these co-NJPW shows. Columbus and Pitt (and to an extent Buffalo) are big stops for them. I sadly hate the venue they've decided to start using regularly.
  14. I'll probably get a ticket to Global Wars in Columbus,
  15. Jeremy Borash/Joseph Park vs. Josh Matthews/Scott Steiner had a more satisfying face victory than almost anything the WWE has produced in months.
  16. I think that's the biggest issue with the heel domination right now. A lot of its just filler that isn't leading anywhere.
  17. If anyone is interested Bryan Alvarez got an email from a lawyer and read off all of the felonies that Reigns committed after the ambulance match. I believe it was in the range of 8 or 9.
  18. I kind of want to see DeAngelo Williams wrestle more.
  19. The problem is they can't think outside of the box. Let's say they decided to put the Smackdown World Title on Big E. They would either have him turn on New Day or have New Day turn on him first. Why can't Big E win the belt and stay with the New Day? What I really want is for them to stop this nonsense with making faces look like impotent assholes at every turn and change the format of the TV. It's been 20 years, you can try new things.
  20. But let's also look at the booking itself. We're on the 3rd PPV in a row where it was a clean sweep of heels winning. That's absolutely dysfunctional booking on their part.
  21. He got hurt really quick into that run. I don't think he was getting earth shattering reactions at the time. I can't really blame the crowds. I would kind of want to boo too when Nakamura and Styles are on the roster and they're subjecting us to the Orton and Mahal program that won't end. Or just being pissed off in general at how boring the TV is on a weekly basis.
  22. Because those are the numbers we have to work with and their live numbers are pretty stagnant as well. There aren't millions of people streaming Raw every week. That stuff is still a relative drop in the bucket to viewership. It's also happening when the product is absolute garbage on a weekly basis.
  23. Yes that's true but they have lost an insane amount of their audience in a really short period of time. This hasn't been attrition, this has been an exodus of people.
  24. I'm with you on all counts. This sentiment of "other fans are stupid because they don't like what I like" needs to go away already. And they aren't even what people should be talking about. It's the fact that a lot of people just don't watch. A lot of my friends just stopped watching because they can't take the tedious TV and the fact that Rollins and Reigns are just boring. Merchandise isn't a good metric when the company makes most of their money off of TV and their audience has been crashing and burning the last couple of years.
