Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve

That's not the announcement I saw for them. The one I saw was playing up the OVW thing a lot more. And ewww... to M-Dogg. -

I like how when RoH comes to Ohio now they make a big deal about bringing in former OVW guys. Hey idiots, OVW never actually operated in Ohio. -

It was but Vince, Steph and HHH decided to keep it going longer. They've even refused to bring in younger guys to get them over. I saw this coming though as HHH had been on good behavior so he could do this. -
http://www.thesuperstation.net/ This gives you the weekly NWA Anarchy show and the bi-monthly NWA Virginia show. Anarchy runs 51 minutes every week and Virginia is typically 20-30 minutes. New Anarchy shows are posted every Monday. http://www.highspots.tv/company.asp?id=12 This is CWF Mid-Atlantic. Starting in May the shows became free. They do a really poor job staying up to date with this. They typically just post 4-6 weeks worth of shows at the same time. Shows run from 30-40 minutes. http://www.wxwwrestling.com/netcast.html This is the promotion run by the Wild Samoans. I don't really watch this one on a regular basis for whatever reason. It's weekly I believe.

You know Bischoff is really made out to be an idiot by history but I have to say I almost always agree with his thought process when he explains why he did stuff.

Ah, this story has really reminded me of why I'm so jaded with the net wrestling community. First we have the jilted WWE fans. These people were worshipping the ground Angle walked on a mere week ago and calling him the best ever. These were also the last "r u his doctor?" crowd that was in total denial over his condition. A mere video later and suddenly Angle's washed up, he was never that good and now it's "omg Angle iz going to die!!!" The funny thing is if the WWE had brought him back on say Raw they'd be defending the decision under the same crap as before. It's really sad seeing all the people defending his health suddenly so concerned about him. Then there are the anti-TNA people. This is really where I have to wonder if people live in the real world sometimes. Seeing people try and spin this as a nothing story is hilarious. Whatever you think about Angle's health, this is the biggest talent move of the decade. There are also a lot of people in this crowd overly concerned about his health because it's ammon against TNA. Had he signed RoH a lot of these people would be back to "omg Angle vs. Danielson!!!" It's nice to know this place is sane even if the wrestling talk has been slow lately.

I really think whatever happens is on Angle. I know it's easy to get mad at TNA over this but he was getting offers from the UFC, Pride, K-1, RoH and probably a dozen other companies. Had TNA not offered him a job he would've just gone one spot down that list and ended up somewhere else. I think it's a no win situation for the wrestling business. He's going to end up a cripple like a lot of other guys and just be another stat for the sleaze in the business. But at the same time had the industry completely blackballed him I think he might've killed himself.

Did he actually ever lose a match while there? They could've at least jobbed him once so such a stupid gimmick wouldn't have left undefeated.

I think the height of High Voltage as a team was getting a couple of wins over Public Enemy on Nitro in 97. It seems Rage never recovered from that arm injury in 98. I remember they tried Kaos as a singles guy for awhile but it didn't really work out. Kaos was picked by Rick Steiner as his co-holder after winning the belts by himself at Halloween Havoc 98. They were building to Rage getting jealous but it never led to anything as Rage either retired or they dropped if for the Judy Bagwell thing.

I wouldn't really call it a push. They were just JTTS for the most part. Won a few matches on Nitro during the summer of 97.

It's actually funny seeing that Steiner stuff and that Foley ripped a lot of it off with Mr. Socko. -

In fairness he was pretty over. He was just an awful wrestler. Not that Sammartino was a lot better. -

I picked this up today. The best part about this is they show highlights of all the title wins and you can see the total apathy of the fans during the first 3 HHH title wins.
