  1. Actually the way the WWF goes about using contracts essentially strips them of all their rights.
  2. Been reading the tag team book. Only complaint is the author had a pretty negative approach to the Road Warriors.

  6. They've used creative as an all encompassing reason to throw people out the door for years now. I don't think they even bother coming up with any other reason these days. And the injury/pregnant comparision is valid as it's examples of how they circumvent employee rights in the United States.
  7. They get away with a lot for the whole independent contractor thing. It essentially allows them to just pay their employees and not have to provide any kind of benefits package. And there's no knowing when they actually stopped paying her. The pay people for 90 days after they're officially fired and she could've had the baby in that period of time. They release injured wrestlers too and you can't do that at a normal place of employment either.
  8. Jarrett did at one point hold the record for most I.C. Title reigns.
  9. They can probably technically get away with firing Dawn Marie for getting pregnant. They'll probably argue that she was hired based on her looks and that by getting pregnant violates some part of her contract.
  10. The sad thing is that if the Warlord debuted today he's be a shoe in for the WWF Title down the line.
  11. Stan Hansen would probably be deemed too ugly and fat. Slaughter would probably get passed up due to baldness and not really being built. No Iron Sheik either.
  12. I'm tempted to say Arn Anderson. I think the WWF would think he was too fat.
  13. Why not Savage? He wasn't terribly big when the WWF brought him in. Maybe 220 lbs. I doubt they would've approved of his wrestling style too. Watching Memphis footage I actually think Lanny Poffo's bigger than him at that point.
  14. C's a little more serious as you have a lot greater chance of it becoming a chronic. Plus there's no vaccine for C.
  15. Adrian Adonis definately would've never seen a WWF ring.
  16. We've been creeping around this discussion for several months now so might as well start a topic for it. I'll start it off with the Crusher and Dick the Bruiser. Terrible wrestlers for the most part and a horrible look. They would never get a look from most indies, TNA or the WWF yet they were huge draws during their time.
  17. Yeah, it's sad seeing an ignorant buffon argue with someone that knows what they're talking about. There was some douche on there earlier complaining that Jarrett mentioning Sting's contract was insider lingo and then proceeded to say TNA was terrible because of it.
  18. DVDVR is pretty bad. Loss posted something about HTM ragging on Steamboat. That's a pretty good example as people were trying to compare the handful of of house shows Steamboat did as I.C. champ to the 18 months of shows that HTM did. Others were also trying to say he didn't draw as champ. There was a lot of ignorance going on in there.
  19. Yeah, I saw the Canadian one and had no interest in it. They should've just done a singles wrestler HoF.
  20. Like I've said before. One of my last posts in the TSM WWF folder was me in utter shock that barely anyone knew who Wendi Richter was and one person actually listing Madusa's career as Richter's.
  21. And let's be honest. The company is currently pushing Shawn Michaels to the moon and he's built like an old lady. Misterio is at least muscular despite being small.
  22. Yeah, each team HoF team gets about 5 pages worth of a bio. There's about 50-60 other teams in there that get a page or two.
  23. If Bill fucking Dundee can draw then Rey Misterio can draw.
  24. Top 20: 1. Fabulous Kangaroos 2. Road Warriors 3. British Bulldogs 4. Dusek Riot Squad 5. Pat Patterson and Ray Stevens 6. Minnesota Wrecking Crew 7. Fabulous Freebirds 8. Assassins 9.
