I can see why they did it but it was a bad idea. You can't really go anywhere with Rhino as champion right now. The two big canidates right now are Raven and Monty Brown and they have to beat Jarrett for the title for the storylines to properly pay off. People on other boards will whine about this but Rhino dropping the belt to them wouldn't have the same effect. But if Monty Brown does earn the title shot for the December PPV HE HAS TO WIN. I don't care if he's not ready they need to pull the trigger on the guy.
-
It also looks like Monty Brown will be getting a title shot in December.

I think giving the belt back to Jarrett was the right move for them. They have better options match wise with him as champ than they do with Rhino. Jarrett vs. Raven and Jarrett vs. Brown could do well for them.

So what's Vince going to do next week to get back at the fans?

- What is your favorite singles match? This question always gets me and I think I give a different answer each time I'm asked. I'll just go with Flair/Steamboat 2/3 Falls this time around. - What is your favorite tag team (2 teams of 2) match? Midnight Express vs. the Fantastics at Clash I. Had they not done a dusty finish this would probably be remembered as one of the greatest tag matches of all time. - What is your favorite multi-person (2 teams of 3 or more on each side) match? WarGames: Dangerous Alliance vs. Sting and Co. Best blow off to a feud ever. - What is your favorite type of wrestling? New Japan's Junior style. I like the mix of mat work and flying as opposed to the spot fu that passes for indy matches these days. - What is your favorite angle of all time? The Mega Powers explode. - Who is a wrestler you found to like because of the internet? No one really. My likes and hates have always been my own. - WCW or WWF 1996-1998? WCW by about 100 miles. The WWF's mid-card was a mess these years. - Do you like Lucha Libre? Why? Yes, it's a nice change of pace from American and Japanese wrestling. I also found it a lot easier to appreciate once I understood the internal logic to the matches. I also like the fact that it's mostly lighthearted as opposed to the mean spirited nature of the WWF. - If you could book a "Super Show" card with 3 matches with a guarantee to draw a huge crowd and maintain monster heat the whole night, what would it be? 1. Ultimo Dragon vs. Shinjiro Ohtani from the J Crown semis 2. Ric Flair vs. Keiji Mutoh from the 95 G-1 Climax 3. Bill Goldberg vs. Hulk Hogan - Goldberg's title win
-
Actually I think this is the WWF's second fingerpoke since coming back to USA. I think this in addition to Linda's stupid heel turn could turn a lot of fans off.
-
I like Ohtani a lot as well. I wish he would lose some weight and go back to being a junior. His training to become a heavyweight in 2001 was one of my favorite storylines from that year. Too bad Sasaki squashed him like a bug. His first round match in the 95 J-Cup is a favorite of mine. Not a great match but I thought he did some great leg work during that match. His semi-final with Ultimo Dragon during the J Crown is another great match. I think it was the best match for both.

It's probably Vince throwing a temper tantrum because he's not getting a piece of any of the ad revenue.
-
I could never buy into Undertaker (sporting a huge beer gut) dominating O'Haire and Palumbo in 2001.
-
Since the other one went well I thought we could try the best junior heavyweight wrestler around. Just for arguments sake we'll leave Jericho/Benoit/Eddie off the list. For me it's Jushin Liger and only Jushin Liger. I think he has a legit claim to be the best overall package ever as a wrestler. I don't think I've ever seen him in a style of match that he couldn't handle. I think as he's aged he's shown a lot of flexibility by switching to a more brawling/power style than a flying/mat style. Owen Hart is probably second overall. Another guy that could bounce around from any style of match and adjust immediately.
-
Mysterio matches with big men, in WCW at least, were very smartly worked. It usually involved him surviving long enough for the heel to punch themself out and Mysterio to get a quick roll up on them for the win.
-
Eddie without a doubt. He's just a better overall package than Rey is. Rey's a great flyer but Eddie's miles ahead of him as a promo and he does a lot of little things better than Rey.
-
Austin's paranoid heel gimmick was some of the best work the WWF had ever seen. They never should've done heel Austin and it was doomed to failure from the start but he did some great work. I'm not saying Punk's bad. If I was rating him he'd be a solid B, B+ wrestler but he's not the A+ a lot of guys act like he is.
-
When your wrestlers are brawling on the streets of the city that's your homebase. It makes the company look bad. Especially when the company was trying to sell itself as having a positive effect on the community. CM Punk is ok on the mic. He's just never convinced me that he can do much outside of what he normally does.
-
Samoa Joe, American Dragon, Homicide, Low Ki when he's not being a shithead, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Colt Cabana are all better workers. Joe and Dragon go without saying. Cabana is only slightly weaker inring than Punk but he's miles ahead of him on the mic and playing face/heel. Homicide is also much stronger inring. Styles and Daniels have been able to carry themselves in a larger promotion without causing a PR nightmare like Punk and have dealt with the time restraints better than Punk did during his TNA run.
-
I think Punk was the single most overrated guy on the indy circuit over the last 2 years. He's a decent worker but can't play face/heel very well and his promos are extremely overrated. Inring he's decent enough but he tends to suck horribly when he's having an off night. I think he might blow his spot up like he did in TNA. He's a big hothead and I could see him getting in another public brawl with someone.

According to their Obsessed With Wrestling Bios Sullivan has a solid 4'' on Dundee.
-
Giant Gonzalez, the guy was so uncoordinated that he essentially waddled when he walked.
-
Damn it you edited your response. I don't know about Sullivan. If you could buy Tazz he's probably believable.

HHH might take the cake as the most unprofessional asshole ever in wrestling. I've never seen someone go out of his way to badmouth guys better than him or to badmouth guys he had to job to when he was still a mid-carder. I bet he sits awake at night trying to figure out how he can get the Ultimate Warrior back in the WWF so he can beat him in under 12 seconds. Might as well add HHH to the list. I think he's sucked for his entire career except for about 4 months in 2000 and 2 months in 2001. Even during his good points I've found his knee based offense to be hard to get into.
-
I think Heyman the booker is overrated. During his short tenure he blew through almost a year's worth of matches with the Smackdown Six and also never properly blew it off. And no matter what excuses he makes he had a lot to do with the Al Wilson crap. I think if the WWF wanted competent booking they'd give Flair and Arn the book and have Ace in charge of every finish for matches.
-
I was pissed that they killed BookDust after only a few weeks as tag champs because they were desperately trying to get Lance Storm and William Regal over as a tag team. I think Bookdust was the best face tag team they had since the Hart Foundation and Rockers broke up. I have to admit. I never bought into the Rock as a good wrestler until his matches with Benoit in 2000.

Rapada could be my champion any day if he was willing to buy a title run like he did with the NWA.
