  1. I think most will do a first come first serve deal for requests
  2. The WWA selects Jerry Valiant
  3. Somehow Buck Robley was not on my list and I have no idea how that's possible.
  4. I'm not in the NWA either but an outsider coordinating the dates and being the tiebreaker vote is the best way to assure we don't have one territory monopolizing the champion.
  5. I had Volkoff on my board but he had slipped so far I thought I could wait one more round.
  6. There was a Cedric Hathaway working Stampede in July 1983. http://wrestlingdata.com/index.php?befehl=bilanzen&wrestler=11060&jahr=1983&monat=7 Granted he was working JR Foley so quite possibly he wasn't a full time worker
  7. You mean he wasn't booked?
  8. I love Bobby Bass and I toyed with the idea of him teaming with Blackjack Mulligan but long term I didn't see me using him.
  9. This has his first match being 1958, or roughly about the same age as a 2012 TNA main eventer. http://wrestlingdata.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=12829&bild=1&details=11
  10. There's not much on Bobby Colt and he's probably good for the six months and gone. http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/bios/b/bobby-colt/
  11. No need to vacate the WWA World Heavyweight Title as the WWA selects its current champion Bobby Colt
  12. I still have about 60 names on paper to draft from, so I'm good for about three rounds. After that it might be random number generator time to fill out the roster.
  13. For the record I do have Ricky Romero wrestling two matches on a random card in Texas in July 1983. http://wrestlingdata.com/index.php?befehl=bilanzen&wrestler=6163&jahr=1983&monat=7 Then he disappears until February 1984
  14. I'll take a month of booking them.
  15. Keep them all if you'd like, it's your promotion. I'm doing studio TV which WWA didn't do just because it fits my booking philosophy better.
  16. While I have little use for him in ring, he does still fit in my plans and apparently he's not automatically saved as owner so I'll select Dick the Bruiser
  17. EDIT: In case I'm wrong don't want to give away an undrafted name but I'm pretty sure someone else worked as Brett Hart around this time.
  18. Brickhouse Brown will be taking the role I was planning for Sweet Brown Sugar.
  19. The WWA selects Brickhouse Brown.
  20. It was about four per year. But if he can come up with strong line ups for these shows, more power to him.
  21. Somehow neither Putski nor Ayala were on my list.
  22. We just received confirmation that the 8th wonder of the world, ANDRE THE GIANT, will be making sporadic appearances for the WWA. His first appearance will take place on August 20 as part of the WWA's first major show at the International Ampitheatre in Chicago, Illinois.
  23. No that's not true. Parv has Ole and he owns Georgia. You have to take your owner with a pick if you want him. Just like Memphis & WWC did. Ah, I missed this somewhere. I could have sworn the reason Ole was drafted was there were other owners of Georgia and one of them was used as the "official" owner.
  24. WCCW ran three shows that I can find in 1983. May 4, May 13 and December 29. I have nothing for Southwest but it doesn't appear it was really either group's town. I'd say WCCW if we had to give it to one in particular. EDIT: I'm positive I don't have complete records but that's what I have
  25. Right now I have a list of 25 names in front of me. I know I'm guaranteed one of them. I'm not sure which one I most want to fall to me. I figure I have about four rounds before I start randomly picking people to fill jobber roles.
