  1. It was a direct consequence. With the Lightning Express no longer available, The Bee's became the only face team I could come up with that fit my plan.
  2. This pick pains me to make, but I need a babyface tag team...... Brian Blair and Jim Brunzell, The Killer Bee's (1988) Gordi
  3. The first page of the draft thread, under Round 13 currently reads: Doing the Clown/ Matt Borne I think you should run with that gimmick!
  4. I have some questions about the keepers. (Never been in a fantasy league with keepers. So let's say you don't have 5 guys worth keeping at the end of this. They've either retired, died, or massively gone downhill. Let's say you only want to keep 2 guys. Can you just keep 2, or do you have to find 5 to keep? If you don't have to keep 5, where do your compensatory picks fall? I ask this because a lot of the keepers will probably become guys like Rockers Shawn Michaels, who blossoms into a potential first round pick in the 93-97 time frame. Which is great for the guys who picked people like him, but if you were someone who wasn't lucky enough to get a pick like that, and your compensatory picks don't come until the end of the regular draft, you are pretty much getting screwed for having chosen a roster with older guys, people who died or had other issues, or just having been unlucky with draft order.
  5. Who's spot is Undertaker gonna get on Smackdown tonight?
  6. Kevin Von Erich - 1988 Superkix is up
  7. That's a dangerous sentiment. I know it is, but if they go, at least before I plan to take them, I would be shocked.
  8. I absolutely don't blame you. I just have a late round heel tag team I am planning to take (that I am almost certain no one else will be considering) and I need opponents for them!
  9. Shit. Brad Armstrong going scratches my hopes for snagging the Lightning Express off the board in a late round. Babyface tag teams are hard to come by.
  10. He is already gone
  11. Is anyone opposed to me taking PN News/Van Hammer/JT Southern as a Rock and Rap trio, since my fed is quite obviously based on Chikara......
  12. I'll take "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala (1988) 1) Gordi 2) Boricua 3) Low Blow
  13. Duggan was an absolute steal in Round 10
  14. Gotta snatch up those babyfaces while they are available!
  15. I'll go ahead and grab "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan (1988)
  16. I was like...I need someone to fight Brody.....then I realized he was available and like I said, he was my next pick.
  17. I've spent the last 2 hours at work plotting out the rest of my draft. Using Wikipedia for ideas and years, making sure no one had been taken. I had just finished compiling a list of picks, with alternates and numbered them in the order I would take them, and I was very proud of myself.... then LowBlow immediately snatches the guy I had at #1.......
  18. I'll take the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of ALLLL Time.....He Sings, He Dances....Ladies and Gentleman...The Honky Tonk Man!!! (1988) Joeg Low Blow - Jerry Saggs 1990 Elliot - MS -1 1991 Superkix Lee Casebolt dkookyPunk - Ricky Morton 1989 Jetlag Beast - Samu 1989 El Boricua SmartMark15 Grimmas
  19. Sgt. Slaughter 1988
  20. Nikita was definitely in my next two picks.
  21. Gimme Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, The Fantastics (1988)
  22. I will be relocating my show from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Dallas, Texas... I choose Kerry Von Erich, 1988
  23. Is changing our location allowed if no one else has it? Starting to realize what I have, and what I am planning probably wouldn't work with where I picked.
  24. I know he is a polarizing figure on this board, but I will go ahead and take Bruiser Brody 1988 (Though I'll assume you guessed that)
  25. *steps up to podium* My next pick is from the year 1991, and it is.. absolutely.... Perfect! *swats gum, leaves stage* (kookypunk and casebolt have holdover picks from last round, so Beast is up)
