  1. Thunderkitty? and don't forget the last time Mrs. Cleaver was in WWE, her son/boyfriend was abusing her.
  2. Thatcher getting in on the Slow Motion gimmick during night 3 was so totally out of character, but he pulled it off very well.

  4. Let me see if I have this straight. 1) They run a PPV and Matt Hardy defeats EC3 and Drew Galloway to become TNA Champion. 2) EC3 files an "Injunction" against Hardy, and Hardy just gives up the title without a fight. 3) Instead of a rematch, they set up a ridiculous 32 person round robin kind of tournament to determine a new champion. Makes perfect sense for TNA. Awesome.
  5. Well, after all the build up that made it seem like something was going to happen, that most certainly was a possible way to end the show.
  6. So Tommaso Ciampa was on both NXT and TNA tonight. I know both were taped some time ago, but I have to wonder if that bites him in the ass as far as possibly getting a full time deal?
  7. Well, all of those things go without saying, which is exactly why they aren't going to do them, especially the last two. So my question should have been.... what does Vince even think they can hotshot at this point?
  8. The question becomes what can they even do at this point?
  9. My money is on Jericho being the mystery partner. Not Kane, but still uggh.
  10. I am ring announcing a show next weekend being headlined by Brian Christopher (of course doing the Too Cool gimmick), and a Shane Douglas vs The Maestro match!!
  11. Another week of New Day being far and away the most entertaining thing on the show.
  12. Fenix is competing today and they've advanced to the finals. I think everything has been smoothed over.
  13. Here are the full Battle of Los Angeles results so people can decide what if anything they want to check out. -Night 1- -Night 2- -Night 3-

  15. So I was just having a conversation with my Dad who still occasionally turns on the random episode of Raw, despite growing up in the Bruno era and not really giving a shit since the Hulkamania era. (He pretty much thinks most of the modern product sucks, though he enjoys Cena, Cesaro, and Lillian Garcia!) Anyway, we got to discussing how Roman Reigns was supposed to be the next great babyface, but is now getting mixed reactions at best, and being boo'ed pretty heavily most of the time. He brought up Wyatt getting cheers and Reigns getting boo's as they exchanged punches on Monday night, and I was telling him how they pretty much started his doom at the Rumble by doing that half assed elimination of Bryan, and then having Reigns win. He then said it was a shame cause Reigns has a good look, and you can tell he is working hard. I agreed and pointed out the ass beating he took from Lesnar, and how hard he has been working since the Rumble incident, but that it just seems that boo'ing him is the cool thing to do now. Then he asked me the question that got me thinking, and the question I am now posing to you PWO...... What can they do to turn it around and get Reigns back on track to be the next top guy?
  16. What just completely distracted the crowd?
  17. I did commentary and ring announcing for some of the Pittsburgh area indies that Elias Sampson worked before getting signed. He worked the WV/PA/OH area as "Heavy Metal Jesus" Logan Shulo for several years.
  18. Are they still planning on having the Uhaa Nation/Apollo Crew debut on this show? or is that gonna be on TV next week now?
  19. Ziggler did not win that match. Sting did. That killed the angle off even before Cena brought them back. Sure but let's not forget the way Ziggler fought to survive down 3v1 and was pulling off a very valiant and emotional comeback that the crowd was invested in before HHH interference and all the shenanigans took place. I think making the whole thing about Sting and not even giving any credit to Ziggler's performance was more of the problem. Well yeah, that was kind of my point. In the moment, Ziggler looked like a hero. But it was not treated that way the next week on TV. They maybe mentioned it in passing on Raw the next night but that was it. HHH cut promos on Sting and never once mentioned Ziggler when he came back. You would think he'd want revenge on both guys. This to me is the root of the problem right here. This company doesn't look at it's own "superstars" as stars. They are desperately clinging to the names that brought them success when the company was at a height it will likely never reach again. Why would an "all time great" like Triple H waste his time with a peon like Dolph Ziggler when he can fight a Legend like Sting. Why would we waste one of the dates on the contract of the one guy with an ounce of credibility in Brock Lesnar on a guy like Ambrose, or Rusev, or Sheamus, or Ziggler, or Cesaro when we can have him wrestle The Undertaker!! Why would we want a young up and coming big man like Luke Harper to get over when we have established names that no one could possibly be sick of like Kane and Big Show who have only been around since 1997 and 1999 respectively!! You've got them trotting The Rock out every instance he is willing to give them a moment of his time, and I don't blame them since he is a fucking global movie star, but did him embarrassing Rusev last year do anything for anybody.....No. Then you've got guys like Cena and Orton who have been on top virtually non-stop for nearly a decade, and while they do put people over, you know that 95% of the time those people are going to return the favor at the worst possible time. Top all of that off with shit like the Batista debacle, HBK and Flair being trotted out as much as humanly possible, and Jericho and RVD returning every 6 months. What you are left with is a company that is clinging to it's past and is apparently deathly afraid to envision a future where all of it's favorite toys have become too broken to play anymore, and they are forced to try something new.
  20. Precisely. My current obsession is Survivor, which is basically wrestling, anyhow. I had never seen an episode and then decided to watch it on Prime on a whim and because my girlfriend likes it. I haven't watched anything else except a preseason football game in three weeks. It's got qualities like absurdity, etc. that also draw me to wrestling in the first place. Once the NFL starts, I probably won't watch anything else. I'm glad to see someone else thinks Survivor and wrestling share some similar qualities. Parvati is my all time favorite player and a fantastic heel to boot!
  21. I have like 4 multi-disc comps, several years of ECW television, and the occasional shoot interview or PWG show that I pick up that I tend to rotate. If I watch a disc of ECW tonight, the next time I can watch I will pick up a disc of Horseman, etc. It keeps me from getting burnt out on a specific thing.
  22. There is an 18 page thread on wrestlingforum of people crying about Randy Orton poking fun at Kevin Owens' weight in a tiny little throwaway line from last night. I'd rather not even see Daniel Bryan come back if it's just going to lead to a bunch of 'OH MY GOD HE ISN'T GOING TO MAIN EVENT WRESTLEMANIA~!!!" bullshit. The news sites are reporting that Kevin Dunn told Orton to make the comments about Owens' weight, which caused #FireKevinDunn to trend on Twitter earlier today, which I find highly amusing.
  23. I figure the next group of girls has to include Natalya and Emma...maybe they stick Eva with them and hope she learns to work through osmosis?
  24. Great American Bash 1989 is pretty fantastic from start to finish.
  25. Too anyone who hasn't watched or needs to catch up, the guy for Lucha Blog is running a marathon until the finale on Wednesday..... http://taima.tv:8080/r/luchablog
