  1. Do they ever add to the archives?
  2. There's a "cast screen" option on all Android phones these days.
  3. Yeah, I'm not sure why we're supposed to be angry he was savvy? Meanwhile, is it just me or is it possible he decided to be more clear/emphatic in part 2 about how willing he would've been to go back to WWE if they just let him rest and didn't treat him like he quit forever? Like he was walking back the health issues enough that it wouldn't clash with him becoming a prize fighter.
  4. https://twitter.com/cmpunk/status/488434110533099521 "Starting a band, a podcast, and a fire. One of these is true. (Okay, two).”
  5. That's not as bad as the ones who do the same thing about antibiotics, thinking straightedge = anti-pharmaceuticals.
  6. There's some truth to it. He wasn't super rich personally at the time. Fritz made great money, then became ridiculously rich investing it in real estate, and never really put it into his promotion. And so on. But Vince bought the biggest promotion in North America that had the biggest cities with money from the promotion's old accounts. He was playing from a position of strength that nobody else could touch.
  7. That's probably more of a Westwood One/Podcast One thing than their own seperate deal. Still comes across terribly from the type of people who host Podcast One shows.
  8. I'm not sure how only being on the two biggest smartphone platforms is an issue here? They website only lists a handful of phones that it's incompatible with for some reason, which happens with all sorts of Android apps for a number of reasons. Also, Android phone apps are built to scale to Android tablets.
  9. It's behind the paywall, but I did a pretty in-depth breakdown of his medical claims (and related issues from the past) in the new F4W. Curious what people think of it.
  10. None of the medical stuff surprised me (it was just messed up to hear him explain it)...EXCEPT for the MRSA. Amann left him with potentially fatal and highly contagious (ESPECIALLY in wrestling) infection that could have taken down the whole crew, and given that WWE has historically had no problem with taking care of staph infections in the most quick and disgustingly dirty way possible (as explained by Punk), why the hell didn't he take care of it? Also, listening to the MRSA stuff I got the feeling the settlement might have restricted the wording he could use. I was kind of surprised he didn't deadpan anything like "Yes, WWE almost killed me."
  11. As someone else alluded to, it has to do with Colt Cabana, but it's something that he's never directly addressed publicly. A lot have people have connected to dots, but personally, I'm not comfortable with doing it myself in public for various reasons.
  12. I won't say why but Al Snow absolutely doesn't belong on the list.
  13. There was no commentary done live for the Shea Stadium show and Coliseum tapes almost always overdubbed Philly commentary. So that covers a lot of the feud. If he overdubbed a MSG match, then, well, I dunno why.
  14. Most of the obvious ones have been named but Hillbilly Jim is way up there, too.
  15. I write more about this in the F4W coming out today but the 15 year rule badly screwed up Mexico this year as it looks like a lot of Mexico voters (half?) only voted for Cien Caras. Other than Cien Caras and, for some reason, Huracan Ramirez, EVERYONE went down, with some by huge margins, plus frontrunner the frontrunner newbies ranged from disappointing (Misioneros de la Muerte, who actually came in 3rd place with just 36%) to pretty bad (Ultimo Guerrero at 24% and Los Brazos at 16%). While a lot of that is the fault of the voters, Dave needs to take stuff like this into account. Who are these people voting for Cien Caras that don’t see any of the other Mexican candidates as top 10 on the ballot?
  16. Issue's not out yet, but it was announced with a Ricky Morton interview on WOR that the Rock & Roll Express is in.
  17. This is the day your life will surely change. This is the day when things fall into place.
  18. REINSTATE THE MACHO MAN! DONNA MARTIN GRADUATES! "Close X down" is kind of a stock joke, though. I think that's what he was going for.
  19. I don't think I've ever seen the match but my understanding was always that the fireworks weren't actually...uh, as far as the name implied, which is...something.
  20. Bryan's phone system wasn't working correctly that day, FWIW.
  21. Heyman honestly thought it would be a great match and wanted a Crockett-style episode of TV centered around the match like Flair-Windham, Russians-R&R, Windham-Murdoch, I think Garvin-Tully, etc.

    Current WWE

WWE as on the ball as ever when it comes to pop culture and internet memes. Just you wait until 2016 when they start going apeshit over those RKO Vines! If they were really with what's hot right now, the special guest would be Smarf.
  23. The problem isn't how they did it. It's that they've largely stopped releasing ANYTHING new. Hopefully ECW Week is the sign of a change.
  24. The Attitude Era in a nutshell. GET IT?
