5/5/17 Crash Lucha Bros vs Young Bucks 4 1/4* I really enjoyed this. I like when the Bucks give me some structure. In Mexico I can buy them as heels. Also with the Lucha rules I won't get all out of whack when people are in and out without tags. We open up with some feeling out process. A lot of counters of counters. A lot of back and forth.These guys have worked each other so I can buy into it. Eventually, the Bucks get the heat on the faces. This is a ton of fun, especially the flying stomp on Fenix's arm. I loved the Lucha Bros comeback. Some neat spots, and cool flying. Finally, the Young Bucks cut them off and it's all balls to the wall high spots. Both teams busting out killer moves, and token spots. A lot of momentum swings. The finish was awesome.

Decided to give this a rewatch. Chavo working the neck early. Chavo transitions to the arm. Gordman with a full nelson that Chavo reverses. Now Chavo is on the leg. Gordman gets his chance and starts to work Chavo's hand with bites, and slamming it into the turnbuckle. The timing on the 1st fall was off. 2nd fall and here we go. Gordman using a foreign object to choke Chavo.Gordman with a back senton gets the 3. 3rd fall and it's on. Chavo gets tossed over the top rope for a DQ.

Putski as punch drunk Rocky is great. Dobra is also a cheap vodka that comes in a plastic container. Putski got his character over. An underneath match with a star.

Some kicks early. Casey with some arm drags. Tank grabs a headlock, but grinds the cast into Casey. Tank roughhousing Casey. Casey reverses and goes after the arm. He has a hammerlock on. Drops a knee on the arm. Tank powers out and uses his weight to clubber Casey. Loved Patton's elbow drop. Patton has destroyed Casey's arm. I'm enjoying the story here.Patton is your meat and potato worker. 2 1/2*

The Continental Lover is stalling to start. Really getting into Diamonds head. Arm drag b y Diamond and Mansfield is complaining of a tights pull. Some more arm drags, ,and now Mansfield is claiming a hair pull. Crowd is really getting into it. Mansfield with a hair pull, but ref seperates them. Diamond working a headlock.Mansfield trying to fight his way out. Diamond delivers an arm drag and a hip toss. Now Diamond works the arm, and grabs an arm bar. Diamond moves the arm bar into a key lock. Then he drops the knee on the arm. Mansfield steals the momentum and uses a hair pull to setup the heat. Mansfield working him over. This was solid stuff. 2 3/4*

Tully vs Tiger This is for the Southwest Heavyweight title. Some quick back and forth early. Tully running from the hammerlock is awesome. Tully is great stooging for Tiger. Tiger in control with the headlock. Tuilly is great at trying for escapes. Tully maneuvers Tiger into a backbreaker. Tully with a headbutt into the bread basket.A Flying head scissors takes Tully over. Tiger trys again, but misses. This sets up Tiger getting pinned . 2nd fall and Tully is all over Tiger. Tiger with several elbows to the ribs. Tully cuts him off with his own knee. Tiger has Tully on the run. Tiger has Tully reeling. Tiger with a headbutt to the leg. Tiger just beating on Tully. Tiger with those headbutts. Their are a lot of momentum shifts in this match.Tully reverses an Irish whip, but it's not enough. Tiger with a flying spear gets 3. 3rd fall and Tiger pushes his advantage. Tully uses an ankle pick to sneak a choke in. Tiger with a great hope spot for 2. Tully eats an Atomic Drop.Their was a lot of momentum shifts. Which allows it to feel more modern in structure. Great nearfalls by Tiger. Tiger goes for his finish, but misses. The comedy begins early. Loved how the heels tried the same play, but the faces had an answer. Another great fail by the heels. The crowd really eats up the comedy spots. Another fun bout. 3*

Tiny Tom vs BoBo Johnson Boesch repeats jokes as much as Johnny Sorrow does. Some more funny Boesch explanations about midgets. Fun schtick early. Tiny Tom working heel here. Loved Tom biting the fingers. In a great comedy/revenge spot Bobo bites Tom on the ass. They teased the ball shot like masters. The head post spot ruled. The corner spot again ruled the high heavens. Kozac spanking Tom was LOL funny as we can hear by Boesch laughing so hard. This was a great comedy match, mixed in with some wrestling. 3*

Spoiler vs Tiger Conway Jr I've liked both of these guys on the footage so I'm looking forward to it. Thesz is the ref. This doesn't feel like the Spoiler. He seems shorter. It's him by looking at his nose. I'm liking the grappling. Tiger after the mask.Back breaker by the Spoiler. He's now working the back. Ax handles to the back by the Spoiler. Irish whip Tiger's back into the corner. Tiger on a comeback. Peppering him with punches. Loved Tiger headbutting and working the Spoiler's claw hand. Spoiler immediately cuts him off. Spoler with a stomach claw, but Tiger makes it to the outside. Stomach claw again. Then moves it to the head claw, but Tiger's head is made of cement.Now it's head butts vs the stomach claw. Flying head butt gets 3 for Tiger. A fun match 2 1/2*
