You can turn that down if you want the Network to succeed. It was never a venture that would bring profits instantly, and all forecasts point to streaming and top box sets being the way that the majority of consumers take in their media within the next five years. Putting the TV on the Network would have paid off more long term than the short term gain from those TV deals. Bill you're idea is insane. You're putting wrestling in a complete bubble and killing it's growth.

I think part of the people who unsubscribed were upset with 80's stuff. I don't think a huge dump is needed . Though some consistency is needed. They need to appeal to a wide audience. They need options.Eventually it will get better. They have a lot of content on the network. They give us the ppv's. They need rhyme and reason and variety.

Those #'s are bad. No way to spin it.

Are they advertising the network on other avenues? I know they do it on their own programming. Are they advertising it during the World Series, or NFL Games, on ESPN etc?

Wrestling With the Past: Hogan, Vince and a Vision

I thought this was some fascinating stuff. 1. I take exception to be put in the Johnny Sorrow age bracket. That was dirty pool. 2. On a show with a lot of great points I thought it was hilarious how Will put over Parv's Kerry Von Erich looks like He-Man point. This is a must listen. -
I don't disagree with this. Where are they going to find these guys. Most importantly how are these guys going to get on the WWE network radar. The pat hand is wrong, my suggestion is realistic but flawed, option 3 "unknown wrestling/media experts who aren't on the radar."Option 4 our mystery saviors. 5. Who knows

Well they need someone. I'd rather have them who do have a better chance of getting hired than their pat hand. They're not going to hire someone they're not familiar with. I liked Mookies, Loss, and your ideas on fixing the network. I know you were kidding, but they aren't going to hire you guys or guys like you. Right now the group they have aren't cutting it. I'd rather have guys who might be passionate about what concepts they're pitching who do have a wrestling background than some media guy from NFL.com.

I watched the 1st rivalries show. It was different than how I envisioned how I would do it. It's basically Wrestlemania rewind. To me this is another wasted opportunity. I wish the network would hire Jim Cornette , Jim Ross, JJ Dillon or that type and put them in charge of the History of a Wrestling for the Network. Put Shane o Mac or Vince Russo in charge of producing concepts for Attitude Era , Eric Bishoff, Kevin Sullivan , Tony Schiavone, Dusty Rhodes in charge of WCW/Nitro concepts etc. Have a Stephanie McMahon type producing current vanity projects like features at SXSW, social media stuff etc.

I enjoyed the show boys.I liked the different takes on the matches. I also thought the show was pretty funny to boot.

I could have lived with the Lawler/Rich and Idol finish. Mystery finishes I don't get.

I remember at one of the previous shows I mentioned that they crapped over the lumberjack stip. I was told that I was missing the point. A lumberjack match couldn't contain Ambrose/Rollins. I understood where people were coming from, but thought they could have worked the match differently. They were building to HIAC. Well we got HIAC and we still got the screw job. I hate to see guys busting their asses off to be killed by bad booking.

The rivalries show has potential. I hope they handle it right. In my interview with Tito Santana I told him I hoped they do one for his feud with Valentine. By the clips that show isn't in the works yet.

Exactly. I didn't care for the show either. This show isn't a show that you would put up on the Wrestlemania 17, Superbrawl 2,GAB 89, or Spring Stampede 94 where you're shocked people didn't like. This is a card that had some hits, some misses, and a lot of in between. Exactly. I didn't care for the show either. You came in here with a chip on your shoulder on how you can't believe some people here didn't care for the show. I said it doesn't compare to some of the greatest shows ever because you're making an extreme argument on a handful of guys not liking the show. So my examples were just as extreme.

I thought the whole on top of the cage and double table spot wasn't needed at all. I'm not a fan of over use of weapon shots. Both guys worked real hard. The crowd feels ripped off by that finish. I'm not sure if the finish helped anyone. Came across as a spectacle as opposed to a match.

I feel Paige is finally getting over her personality in her matches. The skipping while holding AJ was great.

Rusev has really mastered that 10 minute, full of energy with strong story telling match.
-
This match was solid stuff. Show's facial expressions were great, as was his selling on the running the ropes.
-
The Big Show/Rusev video package was done well.

I think a lot of the matches will be good. Current WWE is beyond stale. I've zoned out on the t.v. They have a lot of guys I enjoy, but their legs have been cut out from them. At least Cesaro/Ziggler will get more time than the minute they got on Raw from Austin months ago. It feels like WCW 99 except the match quality is higher. Still from bell to bell the show should be strong. Man though creative is in the toilets. 2nd ppv w/o Bray Wyatt tells a story .

Even today when you here a current Bruno interview on Observer Radio or for the upcoming Ivan Koloff Doc he resonates to you. You hear Hogan do an interview you know he's full of shit.

Bruno came across as genuine. Kinda like Austin did in a way. Both guys came across as blue collar guys who you could shoot the shit with. Hogan was a larger than life kinda guy.

It won't keep me from voting for them. Though if they had an all time great rep as a worker taking nights off does hurt them in the grand scheme of things. So someone like Bret's ppv output is top 10 material. His houseshow run is full of so so performances.
