Ian Rotten vs Kip Morris should be on just for novelty sake. That's the match where Ian bleeds a gusher and almost dies.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
I was hoping for a John Cena answer but damn Will, that was killer. Last night, I watched the Heavenly Bodies vs Stud Stable vs RNR/Arn match from SMW. Throughout the match, the fans in Pikeville, Kentucky were throwing trash and it kinda distracted the wrestlers it seemed. What are some other examples for matches being ruined cause of fans throwing trash? I remember it used to happen weekly on Nitro during the NWO era. -
[1995-04-13-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Toshiaki Kawada vs Kenta Kobashi
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in April 1995
Back to back 30 minute draws on this set? This wasn't bad and the crowd seemed to really enjoy it. So far, Taue and Kawada seem to be the top 2 guys in this carnival.- 15 replies

Wait, when was he a nazi sympathizer? He managed a guy named the Stormtrooper who I think was Bill Dundee. Didn't last very long.

I've also been watching the set in between USWA 97 and Monterrey Lucha and I think Dutch Mantell might be my new favorite color commentator. He's a heel but he's not overbearing like a lot of heel commentators. Plus he calls the action with respect and doesn't try to make jokes the whole time. Oh and the Tracy Smothers/DWB feud is so great. Ron Wright going from a nazi sympathizer in 1988 to a New York Yankee in 1993 is a hell of a switch.

Regal crying when Eaton was knighted was great. As was the shot when the video started at what looked like a soundstage.

[1995-04-08-ECW-Three Way Dance] Eddy Guerrero vs 2 Cold Scorpio
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in April 1995
This felt almost like a 1997 Eddie Guerrero match. Loved the finish that came out of nowhere. Joey Styles commentary was brutal though. -

That DDT on the floor looked nice. I forgot how hot Beulah was in her prime. -
[1995-04-08-WCW-Saturday Night] Sting vs Steve Austin
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in April 1995
Yeah this was a good match. Really good for a 95 WCW match. I never got why they put Austin with Col. Parker? It's not like he needed a manager for promos or anything.- 6 replies

Crazy Flair is crazy. I don't see how this was supposed to get Flair reinstated but whatever.

The only house shows I've been to are FCW ones. I've seen a lot of good matches on some of those shows like Seth Rollins vs Justin Gabriel, Johnny Curtis/Zach Ryder vs Brad Maddox/Dolph Ziggler and probably my favorite match I've seen at a house show Epico, Antonio Cesearo, Kevin Hackman, Donny Marlow and Zero vs Hunico, Nick Rogers, Kenneth Cameron, Peter Orlov and Tyson Kidd . Just a total comedy match with everyone having a good time with the crowd. Tyson Kidd got a huge pop and this match made me a fan. Natalya was there too. Also anytime Damien Sandow wrestles on a house show is a delight. Dylan can back me up on that one. The pink tights, the cart wheels, the poems, all great.

They also blocked World Wrestling Federation. That's just weird.
-
Still running shows here and there I think. Ian sold the company to some other guys but apparently is still booking.
-
I hope some Power Pro wrestling is on the set. Especially Road Warrior Hawk's Memphis run, Lawler vs Giant King from the fair and anything Randy Hales/Billy Joe Travis.
-
Really good promo but did Tommy say he won the NWA title in 1991? Also great mullet he's sporting here.
-
Jerry had lost the title to Razor Ramon thanks to Tommy Rich. Weird to see USWA to give the title to a WWF guy that wouldn't appear on tv. At least I don't think he did? Jerry cuts a pretty angry interview but it's not long as Dave cuts him off to do a commercial.

[1995-04-08-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Toshiaki Kawada vs Akira Taue
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in April 1995
Another awesome match from All Japan. I use to think that Kobashi was the best of the All Japan 4 but I think my pick now is Kawada. Just so incredibly stiff. Love the Lariats and Taue's enzugiri. Match of the Year so far.- 15 replies

[1995-04-06-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in April 1995
Man Misawa was nuts for working with that injury. Kawada's powerbombs were just sick here. Especially the one where Misawa almost lands on his neck. Good match with a great crowd.- 11 replies

I remember this angle but I had no idea they didn't even show the powerbombs on the broadcast? That's like if WWE showed Lesnar coming out on Raw but no F5 to Cena.
