With CMLL heavyweight champion Hector Garza leaving CMLL for Perro Aguayo Jr.'s promotion PERROS DEL MAL, I was thinking of who are some other champions that left a promotion with a title to go to another promotion? The only ones I can think of are Mike Awesome as ECW champ to WCW and Madusa as WWF women's champ to WCW. What are some other examples?

Gerald Brisco's kid, Wes went to University of Central Florida and was big into wake boarding. When Wes was in FCW, his friends from UCF would come to the Orlando FCW house shows and cheer him on. He easily got the biggest pop of the night. I forgot who Wes was facing, I think it was Damien Sandow( Idol Stevens of OVW fame) and when the guys were chanting for wes, Sandow goes to them and says "You know, Wake boarding really sucks" and the guys went bonkers yelling at him. I've been a fan of Sandow's ever since.

Cactus Jack vs Sandman Barb wire match ECW Arena I've been watching ton of ECW on the ECW set. I wouldn't say this was great but it was really entertaining. Way better than the Funk/Sabu barb wire match that was just sick. The finish is kinda sucky with Alfonso coming in and over turning cactus winning.

I was in high school when the attitude and few people talked about it at my school. What's wrong with paying for the WWE product if you like it? I'm going to Mania and I'll probably buy Royal Rumble. Why should I care what other people think if I enjoy it?

The greatest things ever written on wrestling message boards

Orlando does have a area downtown that's called Korea town. -
I'm hoping for some Far Too Wild footage or the Blackbirds myself. Didn't John Tatum has a Memphis run in 90? If so, was it as awesome as I imagine?

Ambrose attacked Regal 2 weeks ago on TV and the next week they had the match. Dylan is correct that it's really great. Best part of it was before where they spent about 5 minutes getting into a backstage brawl before the match. I want to see Regal vs Miz.

Interesting way to end the set. The Liger/Steamboat parts are pretty fun. Nice hint of heel Liger to.

[1992-12-28-WCW-Starrcade '92] Big Van Vader vs Sting
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in December 1992
This was pretty great. I need to watch the Bash match to see if this is as good as that. Loved that the finish is a top rope powerslam. -
If i'm remembering right wasn't it 97 that they then poped up in ECW for a short time, hanging out with the Dudleys. Dutch feuded with Smothers and lost a couple times to him on Superstars. Weren't the Buschwackers officially inducted as Dudleys? That was the match the Dudleys broke Beulah's neck right?

They were around well into 96 and feuded with the Bodydonnas. They had that huge ass Kangaroo as a mascot.

It's a Ken Pantera comp from 1980-85. I really want to see Dos Caras vs Gino. Did that ever make tape?

He was at one of AAA's big shows a couple years ago as part of a big cage match vs Konnan's group. He even got the ring but had no other appearance. it had something to do with royalties. And he is on the CMLL "will never appear in Arena Mexico again" list along with Konnan and Octagon. He's got it made with his weekly tv show and magazine column.

Is it "good for TNA" or "good?" I ask because I started to watch yesterday's show, got bored with the opening stuff and turned it off but would be willing to watch that match if it is worth my time. Can i say in between? It was really good for a TNA tv match but I kinda liked Drew Mcintyre vs John Morrison from this weeks Superstars better. I'm not the biggest Storm fan as I think his look sucks but Roode was awesome at the end with the beer bottle. Of course Mike Tenay has to shit it up with his play by play and trying to put his voice over. TNA is best to watch on Mute i found out.

It was nice to see Steamboat get a little heelish by hitting Windham with a chair. I liked this but it was far from the best tag match of the year.

[1992-12-28-WCW-Starrcade '92] Interview: Rick Rude
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in December 1992
I'm just glad they had him come out for a interview at least. -
[1992-12-27-WWF-Worcester, MA] Shawn Michaels vs Randy Savage
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in December 1992
This was pretty boring. Shawn looked good early with his stalling but it died towards the middle. Savage looked like he checked out early. -
[1992-12-26-SMW-TV] Interview: Bob Armstrong / Interview: Tim Horner
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in December 1992
That Horner interview really made me angry. If that happened in WWF or WCW, it would have won the Observer most disgusting promotional award. Just such a sleazy attempt of getting Horner over.- 10 replies

I'd say the former because if they didn't do it, the latter wouldn't exist or at least not so much. I don't mind people being negative if they watched the show or even clips. But it's the people that are negative even before the show starts and say "all wrestling sucks now and I'm gonna tell you that over and over and over again" that annoy me.

When a person is negative week after week, it's get very old.

Lawler was a face the entire decade of the 1980s. After that, I have no idea. I know he was at least a face from 1992-1996 in Memphis. Didn't he turn heel at the end of 1989? Are we counting just Memphis? He was a heel in Texas in the late 80's and in Florida I think? As for the 90s in Memphis, he turned in the summer of 1996 and turned back babyface when the Nation of Domination showed up. Then he was a heel at the start of Power Pro wrestling till Randy Hales turned into Vince mcmahon and Lawler turned into mini Austin in 1998.
