I guess I've got the complete opposite reaction to this as Loss. Thought this was very disappointing as it never really got going into high gear like the Salvaje/Huracan match. Fiera seemed out of it most of the time as he'd take bumps and then just go to the next move. I like both guys but I just wasn't feeling this match.

[1992-03-31-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Toshiaki Kawada vs Akira Taue
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
Wow I guess i'm different cause I loved the match and one of my favorite's I"ve seen so far. Taue jumping Kawada before the bell set the mood. I thought he looked real good here and Kawada was brutal as always. Really liked the finish and nice to see Taue win one.- 11 replies

[1992-03-29-WWF-Primetime Wrestling] Shawn Michaels vs Roddy Piper
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
I just don't know if Sherri really fit well with Shawn or not. She had some good spots and stuff but I don't think Shawn need her. Fun match and classic WWF face vs face feud tease.- 10 replies

[1992-03-28-WCW-Pro] Arn Anderson vs Ricky Steamboat
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
Great match. Loved Steamboat's selling of the spinebuster and Arn just does the little things so great. Steamboat chokes Rude with a belt during the post match brawl. -
I can't believe they actually let him sing the whole song. Very much Wrestlecrap and funny

[1992-03-28-USWA-TV] Jerry Lawler & Jeff Jarrett vs The Moondogs
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
Lee bringing out a big ass paper bag full of powder ruled. Too bad the lead up to this match isn't on the set with TD Steel cutting a promo and freaking out Lawler.- 14 replies

[1992-03-28-WWF-Superstars] Update: Ric Flair 'Press Conference'
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
This was pretty funny. Sure it wasn't the Flair we all know and love but it was a different part of him and entertaining. -
[1992-03-23-WWF-MSG, NY] Ric Flair & Sid Justice vs Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
Kinda interesting that it wasn't Hogan/Savage vs Sid/Flair. Was Savage not doing house shows during this period? Good house show match even though I couldn't hear the interview even with the sound all the way up.- 15 replies

Tony Schiavone and early 90s WCW announcing
Tim Evans replied to JerryvonKramer's topic in Megathread archive
Cole started turning on Cena right after the feud with Barrett. He always defended Miz during the Cena feud and even during the Truth and beginning of the Punk feud. -
I guess the rights thing is the fact that LLUSA owns AAA's US rights. Isn't that one of the main reasons Zorro didn't go to TNA? Galavision US has wanted to get rid of AAA for years. The HD thing was the perfect excuse.

[1992-03-21-USWA-TV] Jimmy Valiant and Brian Christopher

Valiant almost gave some woman a heart attack by kissing her. And that Tattoo on the forehead must have been painful.- 12 replies

Wrestlecrap at it's finest. Wasn't the Viper Mike Davis?

Weird seeing Fujiwara in boxing shorts. Was this the show that took place in Miami? Really seed like a rowdy wrestling crowd. Fun match.

Not much I can say that hasn't been said. Pretty good match. Really liked the brawl in the 2nd fall and the finish looked brutal. Also Toyota seemed less spotty than she did on the 96 set.

[1992-03-17-UWFi-E=MC2] Mark Silver vs Masahito Kakihara
Tim Evans replied to Loss's topic in March 1992
Good finish to the match but it dragged a lot in the middle. Not my favorite type of wrestling.- 11 replies

This is the first time I've ever seen this and it was just fascinating. Just so trashy and in your face. I guess that's what 90's daytime TV was like? I kinda felt bad for Vince in a way because like Dave said, he couldn't really do anything because the talking heads(Phil, Bruno and Superstar) would hardly let him talk. The guy that came off worse here I thought was Superstar Billy Graham with Bruno in second place. Bruno came off as really bitter but he won me over by laughing at the guy that mentioned his son. Superstar looked real bad and just seemed like a liar. Especially when he brought up the child abuse allegations. Best part and really the home run of the show was the Vince vs Murray confrontation. Signs of Vince's "Mr. Mcmahon" character really came out in that. He looked like he wanted to lunge out and choke Murray to death. Whatever happened to that guy? Was it proven that he was telling the truth or what? Overall it's really interesting to see this so many years later. Too bad the Larry King episode isn't around cause I"d like to see that as a contrast.

I don't find that to apply just to Doc/Gordy. At least to me, most of these All Japan 90's matches run together. Sure it's a good match but what's different about it compared to the other tags. Doc sure liked to throw clotheslines as he hit about 50 of them.
