WWE TV 03/21 - 03/27 Omos is the true heir to Andre the Giant

I noticed that, and even more how she didn't even participate in the beatdown let alone take a bump. -

Greyson and Carmelo are pretty much 1a-1b in my book. Bron has the in ring part down but I can't tell if his promos need work or it's just the Uncle Scotty cadence he has that makes him sound stilted on the mic at times. -

Watching now, and Greyson Waller is a tremendous douchebag. Of all the NXT 2.0 kids, he's the the one who seems like the most polished right now (yes Bron is great, but he could use a little more time in the oven even if Vince probably won't be able to wait for that). -

It makes the NXT women's tag titles look as useless as the main roster ones if the winners of their big tag team tourney don't even want a shot at them. -

I feel you, I get irrationally triggered by like 95% of the entrance poses WWE women do since they are so goofy and/or video game-y. At least Dana's no hands cartwheel deal was cool looking, most of them look like someone asked them to parody the cover of a romance novel. -

I'm sure Rick would be down, but is there still bad blood with Scott? He was the guy they used to have posters of to not allow him backstage. -

I always thought that team didn't get a fair shot. Two big scary monsters with Bivens as a mouthpiece should have been a license to print money. -
AFAIK Fish was promoting one of the "stop child trafficking" events Drake was a part of, and after someone smartened him up he hasn't done anything since.

His name was on the Drake Wuertz donation list, so I'm guessing Tony has no time for Qanon

It does beg the question why there wasn't *somebody* he could trust to run with the ball considering the shape Shane was in. -

Funny how Paul was so concerned about the title ending up on someone contracted to another company, and it ended up happening anyway with Mike Awesome. -

IIRC Al Snow was on loan from the WWF and was never supposed to be anything long term, so when he go super hot out of basically nowhere it kind of caught everyone off guard. -

I wonder how Cody will be presented when he debuts. It would be kind of weird to paint him as a conquering hero since he was a midcard geek when he left WWE and was basically in the midcard in AEW when he left. It would also be weird to paint him as the invader from the competition since that's usually an angle in WWE that results in the "invader" getting jobbed out, and WWE's not going to want to do that (at least not immediately) because it would send a negative message to everyone in AEW who's deals are coming up. It's also going to be weird in a kayfabe sense since he was probably the one who took the most shots at WWE, and him basking in the cheers of a Wrestlemania crowd just kind of makes his character look like either a phony or a hypocrite. -

If the guy has any charisma at all, he's gonna be huge since there's no way Vince doesn't push the hell out of an Olympic gold medalist who isn't in imminent danger of having his neck explode. -
Speaking of the NWA, there was a bit of an odd exchange on Twitter yesterday. Bix was posting about how he hopes people he is friends with in the company realizes he doesn't watch the NWA due to the company being shit, and Maureen Tracy (who was a director with the NWA for merchandise until David Lagana got hit with #SpeakingOut allegations) made a point of replying to emphasize that they are a shit company. Makes me wonder if the wrestling community is finally getting to see the full, uncut Billy Corgan that the music industry knows so well.

It's amazing he had an all pro NFL career and it seems that wasn't even the thing he was best at. -
He has a regular spot as a guest on Fox News talking head shows and normally is sporting the NWA TV belt when he does them. I suppose they see it as exposure.
-
His wife confirmed the stories that were going around that there was some sort of accident in training that led to his death.

WWE being very un-WWE like with them being all coy with the Cody stuff. The crowds seem to know where this is going, but I would have expected them to be yelling from the rooftops that they got one from the other guys. -

I've read this like five times and it still doesn't make any sense to me. -
Hate to be the WELL AKCTSHUALLLY guy, but Jade was a hidden character in Mortal Kombat II, and the Kiss of Death was/is Kitana's move.

I suppose it's easier for old timers to blame the kids for not getting over rather than admitting 75% of the reason they themselves got over was because Vince took a liking to them, -
Not to mention one of the luchadors that got fired as a result of Super Astros getting canceled was Max Mini, who was supposed to be with Owen as he fell and developed a pretty severe drinking problem as a result.

I don't know if the math works out injury wise, and I don't think I would want anyone facing Omos at less than 100%. -

I get the whole "try to get everyone a Mania payday" mindset, but WWE going the New Japan route and having a bunch of multi person tags is getting a bit much. Not every tag title match has to turn into a battle royale with 75 different teams.
