Greyson and Carmelo are pretty much 1a-1b in my book. Bron has the in ring part down but I can't tell if his promos need work or it's just the Uncle Scotty cadence he has that makes him sound stilted on the mic at times.

Watching now, and Greyson Waller is a tremendous douchebag. Of all the NXT 2.0 kids, he's the the one who seems like the most polished right now (yes Bron is great, but he could use a little more time in the oven even if Vince probably won't be able to wait for that).

It makes the NXT women's tag titles look as useless as the main roster ones if the winners of their big tag team tourney don't even want a shot at them.

I feel you, I get irrationally triggered by like 95% of the entrance poses WWE women do since they are so goofy and/or video game-y. At least Dana's no hands cartwheel deal was cool looking, most of them look like someone asked them to parody the cover of a romance novel.

IIRC Al Snow was on loan from the WWF and was never supposed to be anything long term, so when he go super hot out of basically nowhere it kind of caught everyone off guard.

I wonder how Cody will be presented when he debuts. It would be kind of weird to paint him as a conquering hero since he was a midcard geek when he left WWE and was basically in the midcard in AEW when he left. It would also be weird to paint him as the invader from the competition since that's usually an angle in WWE that results in the "invader" getting jobbed out, and WWE's not going to want to do that (at least not immediately) because it would send a negative message to everyone in AEW who's deals are coming up. It's also going to be weird in a kayfabe sense since he was probably the one who took the most shots at WWE, and him basking in the cheers of a Wrestlemania crowd just kind of makes his character look like either a phony or a hypocrite.

If the guy has any charisma at all, he's gonna be huge since there's no way Vince doesn't push the hell out of an Olympic gold medalist who isn't in imminent danger of having his neck explode.

Speaking of the NWA, there was a bit of an odd exchange on Twitter yesterday. Bix was posting about how he hopes people he is friends with in the company realizes he doesn't watch the NWA due to the company being shit, and Maureen Tracy (who was a director with the NWA for merchandise until David Lagana got hit with #SpeakingOut allegations) made a point of replying to emphasize that they are a shit company. Makes me wonder if the wrestling community is finally getting to see the full, uncut Billy Corgan that the music industry knows so well.

I get the whole "try to get everyone a Mania payday" mindset, but WWE going the New Japan route and having a bunch of multi person tags is getting a bit much. Not every tag title match has to turn into a battle royale with 75 different teams.
