  1. Veer gonna come all over the place next week!
  2. Even if Logan Paul wasn't.....well Logan Paul, he'd still get a massive heel reaction in my town just for being from Cleveland.
  3. It's clear that they are trying to copy the Punk debut where they never came out and said he was coming but made it clear that he was showing up. It's also hilarious that a company who insists listening to the internet fans is stupid and dumb is building a major Wrestlemania program 50% based on internet rumors/speculation.
  4. Yeah in his reply Madden said despite nearly dying a couple years ago, Ric apparently gets drunk on a daily basis. It's an amazingly sad story,
  5. Meanwhile Big E showing off a Lego version of the Seinfeld set Ali bought him is the most precious thing on Twitter today, https://twitter.com/WWEBigE/status/1508551159249842177
  6. They seem to really want to streamline the HOF show this year, may God be with whoever has to tell Scott to wrap it up.
  7. If WWE had continuously put Austin in situations that Impact is booking Moose in, there would absolutely have been a reaction to it.
  8. I'm not even mad at Moose per se, even if it's very VERY unlikely this was the only incident of him being violent towards women, Impact has booked him to have physical confrontations with women several times now and it seems like at best they are being tone deaf and at worst trying to send some sort of message. You can do intergender matches and physical confrontations but to keep doing it with the one guy who has a public history like that is suspect. Not to mention the long standing rumors/allegations that Impact management is basically a perv factory. Also the Austin stuff you're mentioning honestly is just whataboutism. Yeah it's fucked up what he did too and if he comes out this weekend at Mania and stunners the whole women's locker room I'd be asking the same questions. WWE didn't go out of their way to book Austin to have physical interactions with women after it happened either. Also this guy is the Impact champion, they aren't doing their top guy any favors by constantly put him in positions to remind people "oh yeah he got arrested for beating up a woman once".
  9. https://www.f4wonline.com/news/impact-wrestling/impact-world-champion-moose-attacks-jade-chung-in-angle-at-indie-event Why does Impact keep doing angles that involve domestic abuser Moose beating up women?
  10. Vince is scrambling to the phone to book Will Smith vs Chris Rock for Mania.
  11. If you had "Ric Flair and Mark Madden's podcast ending with Madden getting fired and them having a giant Twitter fight" on your 2022 bingo card you can collect your prize.
  12. You hit the nail, bubba. At least Charlotte's gimmick is to be unlikable, Ronda's such a mark for herself when she came back this time she was still salty about how the fans treated her the last time. Vince had to tell her to get the fuck over herself for her to even act like a babyface. She's s just not a likable person IRL or on TV, if she was a heel maybe it would work better, but in this role it's not.

Well if Regal, Mox, and Bryan can't get anything out of him he's a lost cause for sure.
  14. I haven't been watching New Japan as closely until recently (empty arena wrestling isn't my bag if it's not in Memphis), when did ZSJ go from Dean Malenko style vanilla technical expert to El Hijo del Bryan Danielson? Gotdamn he's been tearing it up.
  15. The crowds still react huge for her, so she's clearly seen as a big deal, but yeah the buzz of "OMG RONDA IN WWE" is not really there. It's probably not helping that they are basically doing the same angle with Charlotte that they did the last time.
  16. Listening to tonight's show with Dave and Garrett, and laughing at Dave's response to being asked about MJF praising Roman and Heyman. Basically he said there's a reason he's never had MJF on Observer Radio since Max told him he's always 100% in character and Dave wouldn't be able to stand that. (also a clear message to the WWE stans who think MJF is unironically praising WWE when he does stuff like that)
  17. Roman-Brock has been built up pretty good, but I don't think anyone believes for a second the titles will stay unified very long.
  18. I hope to one day love something as much as WWE loves counting the days in people's title reigns.
  19. Watching SD now, and Brock being impressed with Roman's dressing room cracked me up. He's been amazing on this run, no fucks given Brock is the best.
  20. DX became a midcard act when it was mainly the New Age Outlaws and X Pac, but the original version and up to when HHH took over as the leader was pretty much bigger than anything other than Austin. WWE documentaries do blow them up by making it seem they were relevant way longer than they were, but they were absolutely a top level act.

They did a good job rebuilding the feud, and I'm down to see Rosa and Nyla have a match. Also Nyla can promo good enough that there's even less reason to have Vicki around.
  22. I was thinking more along the lines of how Eddie died from an enlarged heart and Hunter's issue seems to have been along the same lines other than his was caught in time. Guys in that era largely saw HGH as "safer" than the anabolics of the 70s-80s, which I guess it was to a degree, but somehow everyone just seems to think the only risks were an increase in muscle tears instead of creating a time bomb in their chest.
  23. Josh Woods vs Wheeler Yuta for the Pure title was announced for the show, so that should be fun as well.
  24. Also it's interesting that no one's mentioning that the guy who got super buffed out so fast he tore both quads and was called "HGH" by the internet back in the day ended up with severe heart issues.
  25. The original DX was probably the signature act of the Attitude Era, their merchandise was only surpassed by nWo shirts. People still do crotch chops to this day and everyone knows what the reference is. Evolution kicked off the careers of Batista and Orton as main event players and was an important part of 00s WWE. Social media has been full of current era stars sharing how HHH helped them in NXT. So when you look at it, his best work has been part of groups and when he was on his own cosplaying as Harley Race during the Reign of Terror that was really terrible.
