I've heard stories of people having run-ins with Steph, but nothing close to the level of Vince's weirdness. Johnny Ace is 100% trying to save his own neck, which honestly probably the smart play for him since the company would throw him under the bus in a heartbeat. I doubt it will allow him to escape any of the heat, but it seems like he's willing to air out the dirty laundry if he thinks it will save his ass.

I can understand Anthem wanting to bring them closer in the fold, but firing the guy who poured his soul into rebuilding the company is an odd place to start. They seem to want to paint this as a corporate reshuffling but those usually involve more than just one person.

That was a great show, excellent wrestling and storyline advancement.

Fightful seemed to suggest in their report that the feeling was he was trying to become the face of the company and that didn't sit well with the corporate overlords. Reagan was a respectable midcard level actor in his day. Leading role in B movies, the #2-3 star in the bigger movies.

I love how the only two options that make sense are either 1. WWE had no idea the fans would shit on them making the #1 babyface in the company look like a bitch or 2. they let the Rock just completely steamroll their yearlong booking plans in a manner that would even make the Hulkster go "that's pretty harsh, brother". NXT show was really good from top to bottom. I never expected a random ass tag team with Bron being the thing to make me turn the corner on Corbin, but here we are. I appreciate them trying to teach Roxanne to be a heel, but there's just something about her that just doesn't work as a the bad guy. I just don't buy her as a threat unless Ava has some big Samoan ladies she can call to be her bodyguards. Her being the Jimmy Hart type pipsqueak hiding behind her larger charges is the only way I can see heel Roxanne work.
