It seems like people expected either PWG or ROH to jump in to make it a WWE Network Killer or somesuch thing, which was silly in retrospect since PWG doesn't do digital and Sinclair doesn't seem to care about ROH past it being cheap content for their stations.

There was no announcement to current members of the price change until they went to renew, so I wouldn't make any assumptions with this group.

If the price increase was part of an announcement of signing a big name promotion to its roster I could see it, but raising the price without adding anything new (and when people are wondering why the back catalog of what you do have isn't up) is a self-kick to the nards PR wise.

The funny thing is that Jinder's whole celebration was pretty cool. Who doesn't like Bollywood style music and dance routines? Bright colors, and music you can't help moving to the beat of, all to build up a guy who's whole shtick so far is "you guys don't like me because India" when it's the only part of his character that has any likable aspect to it.

Trish would have made more sense since she was actually a star in her era, and as far as I know, doesn't have a questionable criminal history. Honoring Mae makes no sense even without mentioning the allegations, she's been put in a place of high regard in WWE Canon just for having a long career. I'd imagine pretty much every female indy worker of note was contacted for this (isn't it a 32 person tourney?), but I would expect them to have learned from the CWC and make sure anyone who has a chance of being impressive is signed to a contract.

Motivated Orton always makes things better, which is why it's so frustrating when he spends most of his time in quarter speed. According to SuperLuchas, Ultimo Guerrero either was or will be given the job instead, so the family (including Psycho Clown who's scheduled to main event TripleMania for AAA) went nuts and destroyed UG's car in the Arena Mexico parking lot. La Mascara was involved as was Maximo, and both are off shows for the foreseeable future. Normally something like this would be the kick off to some big angle, but not only is CMLL way too conservative to ever do something like that, masked guys were shown without their mask so there's nothing like that happening here. Also UG mentioned on Facebook he's pressing charges, so this might have an ongoing impact on the lucha scene.

The injury is legit, he said the 6 month recovery time is a work so he can show up sooner and have it be a surprise.

I think it gets forgotten how messed up Shawn was through most of the DX period, if he goes to WCW I don't see how he doesn't end up following the same path as Scott Hall.
