Techinically she probably could but WWC has long been affiliated with WWE. This would be another one of those cases where they'd be within their rights to do something but would come off as huge dicks if they did.

Honestly CM Punk has been one of the best Twitter follows for a while, between his ongoing feud with the LA Kings' mascot (both give and take pretty well) and his replies to dummies who try to take pot shots at him. Foley's displayed creepy behavior prior to Twitter, and this latest development has had people mentioning he likes to slide into the DMs of female fans.

They've already established she's the best, to the point that it takes the heat off of her matches now since crowds don't seem to buy she's ever in any real jeopardy. Yeah it will be cool that Mickie puts her over and all, but it's back to the uphill battle of building anyone up to the level of posing a threat.

I'm wondering if the footage they show from (I'm assuming) the auditorium in Birmingham has shown up anywhere in a fuller form?
-
She has the problem Ronda had for a while where you don't really buy that anyone she's put up against actually has a chance. It's like they did too good a job building her up as a wrecking machine and now we're supposed to believe that the current crop of fresh-out-of-the-PC girls can hang with her.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

That must be what was alluded to when it was mentioned fraud was involved. -

Dave mentioned part of the reason Billy is filing the lawsuit the way he did would be to freeze the talent contracts so he has a chance to be able to pay the guys if/when he gets control. -
But weren't they actually working to push him out though? Maybe not as quickly as he assumed they were but it definitely seemed to be happening on some level.

From what I could tell, Dixie's been robbing Peter to pay Paul and acting like these ownership stakes she's been selling to Aeroluxe and Billy don't matter. His lawsuit seems to be keeping her from selling the company out from under him. There's also a second lawsuit from one of the production companies that never got paid as well. TNA has been the cockroach of the wrestling business but this might be the 1-2 punch that does them in. -

Of course anyone here would be better than Dixie, so that's not exactly high praise. -

Well he's been more involved in the creative side and that has gotten better, and he's survived 20+ years in the music business which is just as (if not more) cutthroat than wrestling. I'm not saying he's going to take over the world, but he seems to be far better prepared to run the company than Dixie. -

Basically Billy just got fed up with Dixie's bullshit and is trying to get control of the company before she manages to piss away whatever's left.. -
I liked the idea behind Sanity, but the reveal being 2 repackaged jobbers/Eric Young/tiny woman was quite the letdown. It was like when a WWE jobber goes to TNA and they act like it's a big deal. The Australian girls are the best thing on the women's side in NXT but Live is blonde so you know who's going to get the main roster fast track. I can just see Vince re-enacting that famous orgasm face gif upon seeing Tino Sabbatelli.

Been watching the 1981 episodes you've been uploading and it's been amazing so far. I always read about Southeastern/Continental in the magazines but never got to watch any of it until now. Still amazed at Dennis Condrey. Like seriously, did he have some kind of charisma-ending injury at some point after leaving this area? I know spending most of your career next to Jim Cornette can overshadow a guy promo wise, but Jesus this is like a different person. My prior experience with Bob Armstrong was when he would randomly pop up in JCP to team with Brad and generally be all "aw shucks I'm proud of my boy", so seeing him vow to dismember the people who injured his son here was shocking. Also, and this may change the more I watch, I've noticed so far it seems like the owners/bookers of the territory don't seem to be pushing themselves over everyone else which is refreshing.

She's been displaying erratic behavior for a while now, I hope for her sake Alberto isn't enabling her since that's the worst thing you can do.
-
So, if I'm misunderstanding, someone please correct me: Am I reading this right, in that it is being insinuated that the Alberto Del Rio stabbing which made him miss the recent wrestling show, was due to a drug deal gone wrong? Because the picture of the slashes on his arm was pretty damn brutal. If so, this is ridiculously beyond a WWE Wellness Suspension. The way it's being suggested is that Paige was behind on payments to her dealer, he tracked her down to collect, and Alberto was defending his girl. It would explain why there doesn't seem to be a police report about the issue as far as anyone can find.
-
This story's even made the rounds on Hollywood gossip blogs (that rovert claimed as his own on Twitter) basically saying Paige ran afoul of a dealer and when they came to collect Alberto got caught in the crossfire. That actually seems to fit with Alberto's evolving version of the story and photos showing Paige's arms covered in bruises after the incident.

The jobbers they bring in for everyone else they build up?
-
I'm not sure why everyone is immediately assuming this match is going to be bad. It's not like Goldberg has been in a nursing home for the last 12 years, and everyone seems to have forgotten their last match was shit on largely because word got out that both guys were leaving. I'm not expecting them to have a five star classic, but I'm sure they can work enough magic to have a decent brawl type match. My concern is if they can actually build Goldberg up as a threat to current fans who never heard of him.
-
I hope the Uso's outfits lead to their dad coming back to confront them as Makin' A Difference Fatu.
-
On one hand, she hasn't been the most level headed person for sure, but I'm hesitant to jump fully on the "Paige is crazy" bandwagon just knowing how petty WWE can and has been to women when they were romantically involved with people who left the company.
