Now, I'm sure I'm in the minority but I've been liking what's been happening on Smackdown lately. Not the whole Mark Henry/Batista stuff or the JBL/Boogeyman stuff but the Benoit/Booker stuff. It's almost like the injury to Booker has made it better. They teased Benoit getting swept. Now he's fighting back to even score. If you've read the spoilers for Smackdown on Friday, you know that Orlando Jordan gets involved now too. Orton is 0-2 against Benoit in this situation. Once because of Sharmell and the second time because of OJ. OJ in a backstage promo even made reference to holding the US title longer than Benoit and Booker when talking about Booker not showing him any respect. I don't know, I can dig it.

My favorite part of Wrestlemania 6 is the Clothesline from the top rope that Tito Santana takes from The Barbarian and sells like it killed him.

Who could tell them? Jarrett's got Dixie's ear. It'd be Jarrett's word against whomever spoke up...and Dixie has known Jarrett for years.

I don't know how to feel about this. Obviously, it's petty. That pretty much goes without saying. Still, maybe there's more to the story? Perhaps the indy guy had already done a couple little things that irked people. Rubbed a couple of the "boys" the wrong way or something. This was just a "reason" to exile him from the locker room. I don't know. What I'm curious about is, how does PWInsider get "news" like this? Furthermore, why do they see fit to publish it? Am I supposed to believe that they have an inside source, like a wrestler, and they call/e-mail PWI saying "yeah, this dude got kicked out the locker room for moving clothes." It's just fucking stupid. Who cares!? He shouldn't have fucked with someone's shit. He shouldn't have got heat for it if he just moved it. Maybe he threw it on the floor or something?

I'm wondering what the shelf life on this thread is. Bobby Roode I'm a Roode mark.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve
Coffey replied to Coffey's topic in NMB Wrestling Archive
Sting's already been on TNA more than once. Not only that but isn't Spike paying part of his salary? Why wouldn't he be on TV? I would've agreed with you about having Sting show up on PPV if this conversation was happening before the last PPV. Now it's like they're dragging it on too long. You can only see a scorpion logo on a jumbotron so many times before you lose interest. I'm thinking, Sting will make more people watch the TV show. If more people watch the show, more people will buy the PPVs. If the same number of people watch the shows, Sting showing up on PPV isn't going to matter. Maybe that thought process is flawed, I dunno. I know how I feel though. -
Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve

Well, I want to see Sting on iMPACT! before paying thirty-bucks for him to no-show again. I got the last PPV thinking Sting was going to be there. I've already got burned once. When Sting was doing the whole "Crow" thing in WCW, I bought Starrcade because I wanted to see Sting Vs. Hogan. Had all the Sting run-in's and Scorpion Death Drops not have happened, I wouldn't have cared. -
Speaking of, where the fuck has he been? He hasn't been on Raw in like, a month. I was looking forward to his push, surprisingly. He has great facial expressions and a unique look. I wanted to see how his ring work was going to progress.

I thought I'd kick it up a notch and provide a picture whenever I reply. I hope this isn't a repeat. If y'all like to follow suit, I suggest using Image Shack, that way the links won't die. http://www.imageshack.us/ Satoshi Kojima

Why couldn't WWE bring back Goldust to team with Shelton instead of his "mama?" At least then we'd get some decent matches out of it. Goldust was money in '04. I'm sure the segments would be more entertaining too. It worked for Booker T.

She's actually an accomplished actress with a better-than-usual resume for WWE hires. That's not saying much. Where's the acting creditials for those already employed by WWE? Besides, the skit sucked and it was largely because of her "acting." So regardless of her past work, this work, thus far, is bad.

A simple (or not so simple, depending on how you look at it) solution would be for TNA to have shows in front of different crowds. The Orlando crowd sucks and always have. Even if they rabidly cheer for Samoa Joe and boo Jeff Jarrett out of the building, which apparently they did, I still can't get past the "Abyssss...WHOAAAAH" chants and the like. Of course, it could backfire and the new audiences they wrestled in front of might shit all over Jarrett too. If TNA are going to stick exclusively to Orlando for awhile, they need to listen. Play up that Samoa Joe/Jeff Jarrett staredown. Have them run into each other backstage with Jarrett saying something about "noticing what Joe's doing." Then give them a match and switch the title. Joe can "forfeit" the X-Division title and then iMPACT! can run an X-Division tournament for a month or so to crown a new champion. It'd also give TNA the opportunity for a fresh building of guys like Strong, Aries, Shelley, Dutt, Bentley, etc. They want to start using a new X guy? give him some tourney dubyas. I didn't like the "funeral" skit and this skit will probably come off lackluster as well. It's never the same when you've already read what happens. That being said, TNA need to quit teasing Sting and have him show the fuck up already. I don't know, they seemed to like the Ric Flair skit from Monday. They were even "woo'ing" along when Edge was chopping the car driver. When they came back from the skit, there weren't a ton of cheers but I didn't hear a lot of boos either. It was pretty entertaining. Very true. I think the worst part, for me, is when you read the reports and shit like "amazing match" is thrown at you. It's like, now I'm expecting something really memorable and if it's just very good I'll feel let down. I don't know if that's a good idea. I mean, it'd come off better on TV and all but they certainly don't want to alienate the only fans that they perform in front of. If they do, it'll just get worse.

You know what the worst part about Shelton's mama is? She looks like she's only thirty years old. It's too unbelivable. The fake nails, the weave, the glasses, the moo moo...none of it compares to the fact that she only looks like she's old enough to be his sister. Well, that plus she seemed to be a terrible actress and Shelton certainly isn't going to help carry her through vignettes.

Both of Foley's Piper Angle DDP Edge Goldberg The Rock I started Flair's but stopped reading it. I think that's it.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve

I figured Steph would take a lot of time off when she gets preggers. So, I'd be more worried about someone else having too much say. Kevin Dunn or whomever. -

Alright, this was a post made at another message forum. I can't even...come up with words to describe how ignorant it is. Anyway, just read it for yourselves. These are the types of people that I randomly get into arguments with. This is in regards to Samoa Joe: Seriously, what the fuck do you even say to that? -
iMPACT! was really good tonight. Homicide showed up! Samoe Joe wrestled Roderick Strong and a lot of unanswered questions, like the Gayda situation, started to finally get some light.

Thoughts on the following (polarizing) wrestlers
Coffey replied to Loss's topic in NMB Wrestling Archive
Ya know, the mention of repeated suplexes is interesting to me. What'd everyone think of Taz during his last ECW run? He suplexed damn near everything. He had a really strongly booked character but he was never a great wrestler. -
What was the word on the 2005 MOTYC DVD's? Goodhelmet, I believe, sad he sent them to Loss & Sek and that we should talk to them about the DVDs if interested? Something like that.
-
Is it sad that the best character to come out of OVW recently is Mickie James? Seriously, male cheerleaders? Simon Dean? The Boogeyman? I guess they can't all be MNM...of course that leads to rape.
-
I'm not sold on Morphoplex buying TNA as being a good thing.
-
I'll wait to see how this one plays out before I pass judgment on it. It's not as bad as the Tim White shit to me. Not even close. Afterall, Melina is the heel, so we're supposed to assume that she's lying anyway, right? Boy, I hope so.
-
So what's CM Punk using as his finisher now? The Anaconda Vice? Obviously he can't use the Pepsi Plunge.
-
So, since Haas is re-signed with WWE, what's that mean for Jackie Gayda, his wife, whom has been seen on TNA recently? They going to work for different shows? Gayda hasn't been on TNA for awhile and I don't believe she was in any of the spoilers for the rest of the month. This was actually expanded on from what I read earlier. It said that Christy was sent to OVW as a way to get her to quit. She actually didn't mind since she wanted to learn how to work anyway, so it backfired. Then WWE said they had to let her go because she was too expensive. Christy offered to take a big paycut and then WWE just said you're fired because we don't have anything for you. The Diva Search is always a waste of time. They'll never get anything better than Christy out of it. She was attractive, had a lot of enthusiasm and was willing to learn how to work, ala Trish. It makes you wonder how long Ashley will last.
