Maybe he's a bad worker when compared to the greats of the world but if anyone can wrestle the "WWE style" it's Triple H.
-
I don't really know how to get this off the ground. Maybe we should just wait a month or so and then do a wrestler of the year top ten list?
-
WWE didn't really do anything with him last time, though, and he still managed to be entertaining.

We knew it was only a matter of time until Goldust came back once Dusty got hired. However, is it a bad move? When Goldust was in the company last time, he was consistantly one of the high points, both in ring and out, of each show. Will it be a "time will tell" type scenario?

So apparently Torrie Wilson got fired too? Meltzer just said she's gone. Anyone know what happened there?
-
Just out of curiosity, how does Triple H "have no clue?" He's more than capable as a worker.

I was just talking to a friend on-line today about the overall ramifications that this could have. I mean, Christian is good friends with Christopher Daniels and Rhino, both of whom are in TNA. Jericho, I assume, is good friends with them all as well. Now, in the past, Jericho has said that if (when) he returned to wrestling, it would only be to WWE. It'd be interesting to see if his opinion changed with Christian walking out. Of course, they weren't on the same shows anymore but still. I don't think Jericho would leave WWE because of Christian. Jericho has been around for quite some time now and I'm sure he's seen a lot of friends come and go. I don't think Christian is a big enough name to put TNA "on the map" so to speak. I don't think Jericho is either, although I think Jericho still has a bigger name than Christian. However, they're all pieces to a bigger puzzle. If you get a couple pieces, it'll start to look a lot more appealing. Like Loss said though, this is the biggest wrestling news to come out in some time.

It's surreal when you think about it. The Dudleys Vs. The Hardyz Vs. Edge & Christian were big matches in WWE. The Dudleys & Jeff Hardy are already in TNA. Christian will probably be showing up soon. Matt Hardy was close to going at one time too. Edge is currently on the shelf due to injury again.
-
Damn. I guess that puts this, at least in my eyes, in the true column. Well, here's to hoping that he stays in the business and gets some matches in ROH before jobbing to a Jarrett guitar shot in TNA.
-
I'm curious what his breaking point was. Maybe the Boogeyman and the midgets getting TV time on Smackdown?
-
I can't help but think back to Edge's book when he talked about Christian not wanting wrestling as bad as he did. In fact, he even got in after Edge even though they were childhood friends and Edge was already "on his way." If that's true, I'm more afraid that this is true and Christian will get out of the business instead of going to work TNA, ROH or Japan when he no compete clause ends.

I'm not believing it at this second. Who knows though? Has WWE.com tried to work the 'net in the past? Is Halloween a special enough occasion?

I just want to point out that 370 lbs. was a typing error. He's 310.
-
Apparently he has a pretty big resume. He's 6'6", 310 lbs. and has a backround in Judo and Sambo. Apparently, he's done some acting work too. I don't see any reason why WWE wouldn't be high on him.
-
Apparently he was just there showing off some russian wrestler and just so happened to show his distain for not having power in TNA anymore.
-
It doesn't have to be some certain significant point that we start from. We could just simply state "the last twenty years" or whatever and do '85-'05
-
I'm not going to lie, I loved MMA 'Taker. I was happy when he got an Undisputed title run too. I remember really enjoying his ladder match with Jeff Hardy. He started doing a lot of different spots that I liked too. Hell, I remember when he beat TBS with a triangle choke. Now that was believable.
-
As soon as he talks, it's over.
-
I'm just saying, he has just as much right to critisize TNA as we have to support it. Maybe even moreso since he has a better grasp of the business, since he's involved in it. I mean, people would listen to World Heavyweight Champion Batista of WWE before they listen to Joshua Coffey from the internet. That's all I'm saying.
-
Well, to be fair, he is the current Heavyweight champion of the largest wrestling promotion on the planet. I mean, that doesn't mean that he has the best workrate ever or anything but I think it gives him a right to speak his mind, esepcially as it pertains to wrestling.
-
Well, it's easy to say that when you weren't there. He could've just as easily said "Thank you." and that be it. I also don't think he was referencing a previous gimmick.
-
To be honest, Abyss has one of the only entrance songs that I recognize when it starts. I think TNA should incorporate a ranking system. Instead of just throwing four guys together, tell us that the match is happening for a reason. Maybe Sonjay Dutt wants to move up in the rankings so he can get an X-Division title shot? It was odd seeing Roderick Strong, Austin Aries, Alex Shelley & Sonjay Dutt all in a 4-way match out of the blue.
-
OK, so '89 - '05 WCW & WWF(E)? Would that suit people well? That'd work for me. I'm curious where people like Rick Rude, Randy Savage, Vader & Mr. Perfect would finish.
-
OK, well, what about if you were to go to, let's say an autograph signing. Let's say The Big Show is there and after he signs you an autograph you say "Thanks Mr. Wight." Would that be wrong? My friend did that and after he did it, I thought it was disrespectful and ignorant. I never brought it up with him though. Even though The Big Show has been referenced as Paul Wight on-screen, would that still be unacceptable? It seemed like a clear cut case of my friend trying to get himself over to me. Almost as if to say "yeah, I know your real name because I read the internet." I can definitely see why it could piss off some wrestlers. I mean, shit, it pisses off some non-wrestlers!
