  1. I really liked the Taboo Tuesday cage match between Ric Flair and Triple H. I don't think it can compare with the top matches from the list, obviously, but I do think that it can compare with some of the listed matches. Like both Angle/Michaels matches.
  2. Sabu is already there. Heyman seems to be on the outs because Stephanie and Gerwitz are "out to get him." If Heyman shows up with Sabu already there, Rob Van Dam is only a matter of time away.
  3. You know what the worst part about the Angle promo was? He was obviously being very serious. He was talking about his relationship ending with tears in his eyes, as was pointed out earlier. So, what's WWE do? Later in the night, it becomes a "parody" almost with the censoring of the crowd. The commentators made a joke out of it. Just a wasted promo.
  4. It's even funnier when you consider that through all of that, she DID have enough time to do a random episode of fucking MTV's Punk'd.
  5. Like what Ron "The Truth" Killings should be in TNA instead of a dancing, rapper?
  6. Not a big shocker that Raw is mediocre although I will say Rudo's commentary makes it a little more interesting. Also, I haven't really liked her a lot in the past but Candice is getting hotter week after week. At least her body is. Her face is busted. I was hoping that Flair would job the title to Conway. It would've made sense. Conway is doing the whole "take out Legends" thing and them him and Eugene could've wrestled over gold. It's obvious that HHH doesn't care about the IC title, so why not make the switch? I marked out hard for the ALLLLLLLIEEEEEENS.
  7. Is there anyone in UFC that doesn't have a good armbar? Is there a such thing as a bad armbar? You either get it or you don't. Now, some guys are better at slappin' that bitch on than others, is that what you mean?
  8. Rudo and Curry are always shilling MMA over at TSM. In the past, they've recommended not watching wrestling because MMA was better. I've followed MMA for awhile but I've always watched wrestling for different reasons. If I'd never seen MMA before and Rudo and Curry shilled this show onto me, I'd forever be an MMA fan. It was that good. That being said, this was the best MMA show I've ever watched. I've seen a lot of K-1 and even more Pride. To me, this tops them all. Three amazing fights. Two of which I felt I had an emotional tie to thanks to the Ultimate Fighter season. Just a fabulous night. It completely blew me away. I can't give the show enough praise. My only knock being that Spike TV showed way too many commercials. If this were PPV, it would've easily been worth fifty bucks. I believe in two weeks is the next UFC PPV. After this show, I'll definitely be watching.
  9. Ya know, I'm not even in the business and when I read that paragraph, that's exactly when I lost interest in the article. It actually offended me, as a fan. Does he really believe that?
  10. I didn't realize that the promo's were scripted word for word like that.
  11. She'll be Raven's girlfriend in the storyline, then Haas will show up to take out Raven. That's my guess.
  12. I just wanna say that I really appreciate you posting this each week, duder. Seriously, it's greatly appreciated. *runs off to finish reading post*
  13. All I know is that if I didn't watch anymore, I wouldn't have seen the Triple H Vs. Ric Flair match from Taboo Tuesday last night. It's probably my WWE MOTY so far. I agree that the last month of WWE TV has been bad. Really bad. Actually, that's probably still an understatement. Still, the nuggets are there. That's part of the reason why I still watch. That's part of the reason why I'll continue to watch. EDIT: That's another thing. If I don't follow the product, I can participate in threads about Matches of the Year and shit and I get a lot of enjoyment outta that stuff.
  14. I'm just curious if anyone else has ran into this. It comes up a lot for me, especially when WWE is at a low point, like right now. Personally, I've been watching WWE for twenty years. I've watched Raw since it's initial inception on USA. I watched WCW up until they went out of business. Same with ECW. I watch wrestling because I'm a wrestling fan. Even when the overall product is bad, there's always at least something that I can get into. So, when you've been watching as long as most of us have, and you know that this business goes through it's peaks and valleys, what do you do when someone, usually someone that doesn't even follow the product anymore, simply says "just stop watching." It's like they don't understand that we want the product to get better. We want to be there when the rebound starts. We don't want to quit watching we just want to criticize the product when it's bad, the same that people whom talk about games and movies do. Ugh. This is kind of me just venting because it gets annoying defending yourself against someone that doesn't even watch the product anymore. Still, I know at least several of you have ran into this, so I'm curious how you handled it.
  15. Really? So you're saving the stuff to your HD? EDIT: What'd you use for an e-mail address? You actually use some spam e-mail account or is there one I'm supposed to use?
  16. Buck fiddy a match.
  17. In a cage match, you lose when your opponent escapes. How did Triple H "avoid doing a clean job?" Just because he didn't get pinned or submit? Nevertheless, it was still MOTN.
  18. Maybe he's a bad worker when compared to the greats of the world but if anyone can wrestle the "WWE style" it's Triple H.
  19. I don't really know how to get this off the ground. Maybe we should just wait a month or so and then do a wrestler of the year top ten list?
  20. WWE didn't really do anything with him last time, though, and he still managed to be entertaining.
  21. We knew it was only a matter of time until Goldust came back once Dusty got hired. However, is it a bad move? When Goldust was in the company last time, he was consistantly one of the high points, both in ring and out, of each show. Will it be a "time will tell" type scenario?
  22. "Once a Freebird, always a Freebird." Also:
  23. So apparently Torrie Wilson got fired too? Meltzer just said she's gone. Anyone know what happened there?
  24. Just out of curiosity, how does Triple H "have no clue?" He's more than capable as a worker.
  25. I was just talking to a friend on-line today about the overall ramifications that this could have. I mean, Christian is good friends with Christopher Daniels and Rhino, both of whom are in TNA. Jericho, I assume, is good friends with them all as well. Now, in the past, Jericho has said that if (when) he returned to wrestling, it would only be to WWE. It'd be interesting to see if his opinion changed with Christian walking out. Of course, they weren't on the same shows anymore but still. I don't think Jericho would leave WWE because of Christian. Jericho has been around for quite some time now and I'm sure he's seen a lot of friends come and go. I don't think Christian is a big enough name to put TNA "on the map" so to speak. I don't think Jericho is either, although I think Jericho still has a bigger name than Christian. However, they're all pieces to a bigger puzzle. If you get a couple pieces, it'll start to look a lot more appealing. Like Loss said though, this is the biggest wrestling news to come out in some time.
