If promotions are going dormant, will we be able to vote on a trade? For example, I'm interested in Jim Niedhart, I'll happily trade Jake Roberts for him, but Stampede seems done? Could o get a vote to make that trade happen?

Bill Howard has joined Southeastern from their AWA brothers Southwest in a trade that has caused ripples in the wrestling world...

I think we should go back to calling it WWF...

1. I don't think it's healthy to have a full roster sit there. 2. Makes its more appealing for a new writer to know they have a corner stone and won't have to put the type on TG Stone or some clown like that. 3. The free agents list should have enough to build a promotion with.

There just needs to be a set rule and then move on.

But needs to be sorted asap because if I'm dropping Georgia (I happy with just Southeastern, and just as happy with Georgia too). I haven't used a lot of the Georgia guys so will edit out the Georgia stuff, but I everything else will have to stand, even the AWA stuff...

I think we'd have to vote on if we drop guys to match the roster sizes? Maybe have a percentage leweigh?

If we agree and Georgia goes dark, then I think there needs to be champions with it, I purpose Jake Roberts and Shadow Riders. I'll be a little pissed that 2 weeks of planning goes down the drain, but I'm only a week into Georgia and only Buzz is sticking around for the time being. We also need to create the WWF as free with champions and possibly Central States and Portland. Maple Leaf was 1 town territory so probably doesn't needed to be added to the list. So free territories as it stands for new writers Central States Portland Georgia WWF And maybe California as a territory Mexico If they go dark, each will need a tag team champion and heavyweight champion.

I thoughts are that their needs to be enough people free for new writers to create a roster...

And that's not to suck the fun out of it for you Low Blow, but some restrictions need to be in place...

I am not overly big on the cap... I have stated from the beginning that vertical expansion is one thing I'd like to accomplish but having more limitations on my product being able to grow would be difficult. Perhaps if the cap was bigger, then I'd be fine, more as a place holder, but not something that is going to limit me from being able to build my product. And yes, I know I cans till have trades and such, but home grown guys are always important. If the cap were more like 40-45, I feel that those are barriers I could work around. Just an opinion. I think for the greater good, you may have to release the idea of having a massive roster. By limiting the rosters, more people will be able to join the game and ultimately make things better. I have 32 wrestlers and 1 manager. I think the idea of having 35 all in all is probably the best fit...

See I'm against the whole protect draft, just don't think I'd like knowing that because The Nightmars for example, aren't in my top 12 they won't be down the line and are an essential part to my roster and plans. Also outside of the top 12, most of the guys in promotions are staples of that area...

I more than happy with ending up with Buddy Landell and Buzz Sawyer as my two new main eventers from all this Georgia stuff so send me a long list of guys...

I think it should just be the champions, because it's who decides who are the top 5? Top 5 in Southeastern isn't worth shit in WWF. I don't think we should do free lancers either, people will plan stuff in and the new person will come in and there be all sorts of I need them for this date etc. Probably best to just isolated them...

Come on guys, Jake is still up for trade, must be someone who wants him...

Sorry yes forgot about that. Yeah, the champions stick with promotions and they go dark. So Georgia as an example would of been, Jake Roberts, Butch Reed and Koko Ware staying, the rest of the roster goes into a 1 pick draft, and everyone else into the free agent list. That way new writers could come along and think, I have a decent backbone and I can book a a territory with more than just scrubs (unless your goc, who loves a scrub lol)...

I was out all day yesterday and missed a few things. I propose we do a few things. 1. Roster capping, mainly so guys don't get stock piled, how we do that now we'd have to discuss. Which would lead nicely into the following.. 2. Free agent list, let's just have a list of guys new writers can pick a roster from. No rules just a list of names. 3. Trade moves limited. Let's say you can only make 6 trades a period, 3 months maybe? Including picking up and dropping guys from the free agents. 4. So at the moment it's only me and Wahoo who has a merged territory, now I was all for it, but I think it would be better if Georgia and Portland could still be picked up for a new guy. I suppose me and Wahoo would have to decide on what promotion we keep. 5. Maybe the merger stuff should happen but capped. Maybe 5 guys and then the rest into a draft, but only one pick? Rest of the guys into free agent list. 6. Closing promotions should probably keep there champions so if someone comes in at least they haven't got to book a load of scrubs as there champions. At the moment we have no way of catching people's eyes because there isn't a available list. I picked Alabama at the start because I really enjoy the feel of it, I got Georgia through protocol and am trying to incorporate it. But I'd be just as happy if someone wanted to come in and book that area. if I was a new writer is be more than happy to come in, pick up a roster from the guys in free agents list, I think there is an appeal for that, rather than waiting to see if something happens for a promotion to be freed up.
