  1. Well if 4 territories had 1st round byes we could do 20 right? Or is my math wrong on that?
  2. yea i do realize some of the stuff was left out but i was trying to make it a solid 16 for the bracket's sake. So if Continental should be included what gets taken out? Should Europe not be included then? I'm just trying to get a solid 16 down before i went with the rankings and for tournament purposes i would have lumped Canada together but if there is enough knowledge out there we can split it up. I would just need to know what to take out and what to put in? Would it be easier to make it strictly North America and take out NJ/AJ/Europe? And add continental, another Canada and something else? Is the free lance idea valid or should that be a territory spot instead?
  3. Ok maybe i should change Stampede to Canada? And maybe free lance to St Louis?
  4. Dustin is just a personal favorite of mine and I really don't have an elaborate explanation. I guess its because he never bored me. I always felt satisfied watching a Dustin match and he had a large quantity of average to good matches. I can understand the argument of him maybe not having that great match but to me my top ten guys are guys I could watch multiple times and never get tired of. I know I'm probably in the minority on him but that's just me
  5. Yea i said it tongue in cheek but with a little validation. While he's not among the greatest tag workers exactly he's still a pretty good tag wrestler. I mean it doesnt get any more diverse than those three teams but then again it doesnt get any gayer than those three teams either. Tight pants cowboys, thong wearing degenarate, and most likely thong wearing butt buddy. So maybe its not as diverse as i thought. All kidding aside all three teams were very valuable at their time and they always had at least decent matches.
  6. I think Martel and Hart wouldnt qualify for this list if he means US born. If im mistaken i'd easily add Hart to mine
  7. The LWO fiesta has to be added for pure comedy. It's one of those so bad its good things from early January.
  8. No love for Billy Gunn?
  9. Ok this is something i was just thinking of bored at work and it is probably a little stupid but could be fun and help myself and others learn of the aces of early 80's wrestling. I was thinking of naming say 16 territories or areas and then naming the top 4 guys in each area and having a little tourney of sorts. Once again i know its stupid and i'm not fully versed on most of this stuff so feel free to fill in blanks or voice an opinion on if any guys or territories dont belong and should be replaced. Just bear with me on this as it may be frustrating to some of you that have more knowledge. The 16 territories i could think of would be: 1. WWWF or New York 2. Memphis 3. WCCW or Texas 4. Mid Atlantic 5. Georgia 6. Florida 7. Portland 8. Mid-South 9. All Japan 10. New Japan 11. Europe 12. Mexico 13. Puerto Rico 14. AWA 15. Stampede 16. And lastly i'm thinking of St Louis or a Freelance category for guys who didnt stay long like Funk and such Maybe i should let the territories simmer for a little bit and see if there are any objections before i move on to the aces or top 4. Thoughts? Maybe this is a bit outlandish but i'm pretty bored at work and this could eat up some time.
  10. My top ten off the top of my head would probably be Funk, Lawler, Flair, Arn, Vader, Mysterio, Eddie, Punk, Dustin, and ten would be a hard decision between malenko, rude and maybe prime angle. Guys I have only seen a little of but definitely have the possibility of being in there are Murdoch, Rose, Hansen, and Gordy.
  11. I havent seen too much of Windham in tag matches but i definitely agree with Arn.
  12. Yea the reason i like podcasts like these are because it makes you want to seek out footage or learn about certain guys, territories, matches, etc. I really liked Goodwill wrestling for that reason as i thought Will brought the knowledge and info without being too snarky and self serving. Will comes off as a laid back dude who shoots the shit kind of like me so maybe that helps.
  13. Would you put him at a close two then? I can see Morton being one and Eaton being one A as well.
  14. Care to elaborate? You pretty much just outed a while country with no back up.
  15. That's merely you're opinion. Doesn't make it true. To me they're both classic as is liquid swords and 36 is my second favorite al um ever. Why do they have to be compared though? Saying its not as good as 36 doesn't make it any less of an album. Not everything u like is going to be agreed upon you don't have to bust vessels over it
  16. I wasn't making the comparison but to rely on quantity is pretty Fucking absurd as well. So what if he made two albums their two of the best hip hop albums of all time. Two. I don't know shit about bob Dylan so I song argue against him bit just because he puts out a ton of albums doesn't mean they're all great. Jay z is a perfect example
  17. So since you're o.e of the biggest fans that means your opinion is what matters? I happen to be a huge hip hop fan but I wouldn't gloat that my opinion isnt to be argued with. I mean do you really think big doesn't have the ammo? Seriously? Cmon bro get real he's top ten easy and had no where bear the volume of material as his peers who also claim him top 5 dead or alive. Big mixed street vibes with story telling and serious word play as well as one of the best deliveries of all time. What else would you need from hip hop? Nas is my personal favorite and I can argue the same for him but I would only say he has longevity on big and that's about it
  18. As was that comment
  19. Best tag team wrestler of all time? I mean you have MX, the dangerous alliance and all their tags and I thought he kicked ass in the blue bloods and the ecw tag he was in. I might be missing another team outside of the kaos short lived connection but regardless that's a very good resume and as a singles star he always had good matches. I couldn't really point to one singles match particular but he was always a great worker. Thoughts....suggestions of matches and opinions as to where he ranks as a tag team wrestler fire away

  21. Yea that was my take on it too. I still haven't rewatched it though so ill reserve full judgement. It did come off well live though and had good drama
  22. I was there live for the flair match as well and have rewatched it and still liked that one. I could see not liking the hhh match on rewatch though as I really don't like hhh.
  23. Being there live I might have missed or not noticed most of that which I suppose is a good thing from how u make it sound.
  24. Ate you guys serious saying that match sucked that bad? The one from 2012? I was there live and while its not an epic all timer it certainly didn't suck. I hate triple h and I still thought the match was good you can't write it off just because the streak continued.
  25. I honestly agree with this statement full tilt. If there were specific criteria to go by then the arguments would be clearer. As is it goes on your own personal opinion of what you think makes a wrestler great. In certain situations i like Bret better than anyone else but i can see why Flair would be rated above him given the topics of discussion on the podcast.
