  1. I'm really digging the show as I'm currently diving into the 2000's indy scene myself. I was a little put off by the amount of time spent on the CSC angle as I think the show became focused on that but overall it has been great. Look forward to more episodes.
  2. I can't wait to listen to this. I love the early to mid 2000s indy talk and this should be great. Still want to hear that Briscoes episode
  3. I'd be all in for an 80 and if that and maybe an 81 and 82 was forthcoming I would be all in for 79. I'm a chronological freak for whatever reason
  4. The extras in chronological order withe stuff from Continental, WWF and JCP is exactly what I'm looking for. Georgia and Florida as well. Im going to check out your 79 set. Any chance there is an 80 set in the works. The way you're doing it is just what I'm looking for except the 80s
  5. I'm trying to spotlight all the key matches, angles and promos from all over. Not just one promotion or wrestler. I have all but a few of the dvdvr sets but never went all in. That's my starting point. I might go in chronological order and pick out all the must see stuff and start a list. I don't know yet
  6. I'm thinking of finally making an attempt at a deep dive into 80s wrestling. Typically in the past I'd watch a disc or two of the dvdvr sets and lose focus. Then I'd aquire some other comps and YouTube channels and lose focus. I'm finally determined to go all in and cover the good shit. Outside of the great dvdvr 80s sets what are some suggestions on stuff like comps, must see matches, angles, etc. I'd prefer to aquire discs and have a good collection to start with. I have a few comps and a couple years of Bricks sets but am unsure on where else to start

  8. This show was so damn good and very insightful. It helped me on my 2016 watching in which I'm trying to cover all the big indy stuff. Would be cool to hear a show like this maybe dedicated to the wrestlers specifically that are in the scene.

  10. Haha I seriously thought it was intentional. Now it goes from cringe worthy to hilarious.
  11. Good show as usual and I love the Amazon game but damn I cringe every time Bixby has to say compact disc instead of just saying cd.
  12. I look forward and listen to this every week. I love it and find it so damn entertaining.
  13. Really fun listen and Chris was great. Pretty jealous that you guys got to chop it up with him as he is one of my all time favorites
  14. Kid losing to Bret helped make him and earlier Razor losing to Kid helped solidify himself as a big time babyface

  16. Man I love when you guys talk about this era because of all the indy talk. I get so pumped to hear about all the small shows as well as the ROH and CZWs of the world
  17. If he's the one that does JR and Tommy Rich and the like, I think he's pretty funny.
  18. I've found myself liking the show less and less because of it. I love the deep dive interviews and all of the knowledge of the mid to late 90s indy scene but the over the top stuff drowns it out. Hopefully it gets a little better because I enjoy listuning each week
  19. That sounds like a fun idea. The execution is what matters. Most of the shows based on just a match or one wrestler can be slow and boring bc the subject matter is limited. Maybe throw two or threebok guys into each episode and mix it up a little?
  20. The interviews are great and the wacky stuff along with the impressions are as well. Brian constantly putting himself over and desperately going after the Jim Ross and Jerichos of the world is so damn grating.
  21. But it's obviously done on purpose. The podcast would not be nearly as good of Conrad just took Bruce at his word every time. He challenges him even if it's not his own opinion to make for a better show. And you've honestly never heard of butt hurt?
  22. I love Conrad. He's a fan just like anyone else. I find it so funny that people get butt hurt over the things he says too.
