I saw you put Shawn but I was questioning if he would make it. You probably have to throw in indy guys like Punk, Joe, and AJ. And current guys you'd never rank high that newer fans might like Tanahashi and maybe Brock.

No not Mack and Maff but the highly regarded guys that missed your list due to lack of viewing, footage, etc. I haven't seen a lot of footage on any of the World of Sport guys, decent Japan and small amount of lucha. Bret and maybe Waltman

Just turned in my ballot and had a he'll of a time doing it. Was cautious at first but listening to the podcasts definitely helped. Tim bringing up the subjective point solidified some of my top picks and I had to stay true to guys I've watched. If anything, doing this list has helped my love of wrestling grow because now I know there are so many greats I have to check out. I couldn't justify voting for someone I've seen very little of so there are some heavy hitters I'm missing. Overall, very fun

This is music to my ears. Bret is my favorite even though he can be dry on interviews. I'll still want to hear his opinion and view on matches and his career

Bret is my favorite wrestler, The 97 HF is my favorite stable and Bret v Austin is my favorite feud. The feud and atmosphere surrounding it was unlike anything I've ever seen. The Canada/US face/heel dynamic for Bret was just awesome to see while it happened. They also both needed each other thus making it such a great cohesion. Austin needed the established WWF top guy to take him to the main event scene and Bret needed a fresh, hungry new face that would reinvigorate him. It also allowed Bret to naturally transition into becoming a heel. Something he really needed but was never presented in a good way. The Mania match allowed both guys to break out into the characters that would help make 97 one of the best years in company history quality wise.

It might not be for everyone but if you like the style than its definitely a great promotion to follow. I'd rather watch PWG than pretty much any other promotion right now. And no Steven, that wasn't a type-o I put all three nights. One of the worst shows all year is your opinion but I don't see how it was that much worse than night 2 or 3.
