Ambrose stood out to me when he was working singles matches early in his main roster career as the one guy not out there just running through his signature moves. He would work each match differently depending on his opponent, and what body part he was targeting. When the face turn happened it was like "here's your signature moves do those every match with no exceptions and work like everyone else".

Dean is one of my favorite sellers in WWE. He's a guy hampered by WWE's style because from what I've seen of his pre WWE work his strengths were mat work, and bloody brawls. He's doing what he can in a style that's basically built around high spots. I loved Dean's selling in the ladder match with Rollins until he had to drop it to hit some pre planned spots, but I don't put all that on him. Off the top of my head the good long term sellers list in WWE is Rusev and Sasha so again that's not really a hallmark of the style. The WWE is now a place where a bullshit no psychology finisher/kickout fest with the first super AA kickout ever being used on a B show is considered a MOTY. Dean Ambrose's selling wouldn't make my top 100 list for things wrong with current WWE.

Rock left right as he was hitting his peak as an in ring performer. The Hogan carry job at Mania 18 was all time great.

Terrible main event; never go full indy. Cena's nose though ouch.
-
I got Swagger as the new Wyatt family member.
-
They put Balor over Owens in the middle of his Cena feud so I don't see why Bayley won't be going over. She's clearly going to be the ace of NXT's women's division with the other 3 getting called up.

I'd rather see Bryan as the ace of NXT, and see if they could start out drawing the main roster house shows. Bryan working a predominately mat based style would go over much better in NXT. Of course with Raw's pathetic ratings that would never happen as Bryan would be needed there if he comes back.

Bryan is spilling the beans full inteview is up tomorrow On the specifics of his injuries: “Well it’s actually not a neck issue, my neck is completely fine. It’s more of a concussion issue. And Brie was very hesitant about this whole thing and that’s why WWE is very protective over me too. Everyone is more aware of concussions and that’s why, with WWE, I don’t see what they’re doing, as far as making me go through all these hurdles, I don’t see that as a negative. They’re protecting me and especially in this era of concussion awareness. Brie at first was like, “Hmm, I’m not sure, given your history.” But when we met with the neurologist in Phoenix and we went through all the testing and he said: “Ok, all of my testing is not just coming back good, it’s coming back excellent.” As far as my brain right now, it’s at a level above most people who have never had a concussion my age. When you are looking at scores of like: Bad, poor, fair, good, great, excellent — it’s at those great-excellent levels." This is going to be interesting to see when/if they clear Bryan. I've heard he has 3 years left on his deal and that's a long ass time right in the prime of his career to sit. I wonder what the difference in a guy like Ziggler getting cleared, and Christian and Graves not being cleared is.

Bryan being out has hurt the ratings as well. He was the only guy in the entire company fans were emotionally invested in.

The match Sasha and Becky had should be the template for women's matches going forward. Do things the men in WWE don't do like mat work, psychology, and selling.
-
Owens was out there because HHH was asking for help, and it's already been established on the main roster that HHH and Owens are friendly.
-
I think Vince and company seeing a huge crowd in Brooklyn go absolutely nuts for Bayley is going to turn some heads, and a large majority of that crowd will the be grown men. Bayley is a character that will get over with every demographic if her NXT run is any indication. I believe HHH sees something with the women, and he trusts them in big spots. I think this is the best shot women's wrestling has ever had at succeeding in WWE with the talent they have and HHH and Steph backing it. It's now or never pretty much.

It's not helping Charlotte that they have her playing face. I've never found her the least bit sympathetic or likeable. Becky played a good FIP on Raw, but they've given the fans no reason to care about her outside of "hey this is a good wrestler who had good matches in NXT that 80% of our main roster audience hasn't seen". Sasha is the star of the bunch, and I'll be shocked if Bayley isn't the most over woman in the company when she comes up. Bayley is right there with Zayn as the best pure babyface in WWE, and I'd put her not that far behind Sasha as the second best all around act out of the women's division.

Rusev is so awesome he's the best young guy in the company imo. I've been impressed with Reigns lately. Cesaro didn't look out of place rubbing shoulders with Cena and Orton. Harper makes Bray far more tolerable.

That Taker promo was like Christian Bale's Batman reading an Ultimate Warrior promo.
-
Cena/Owens 3 might have mattered more if Cena hadn't done two exact matches with Cesaro on Raw. I don't agree at all that Cena was "dragged down to Owens' level" Cena has been having these style of matches since he won the US title. He can't go a single match without a finisher kickout and near fall spamming. Owens had far better character work and storytelling in his matches in NXT than anything Cena has done this year.
-
Well we know what Cole does in his spare time(and me too I guess).
-
That'll probably change when Charlotte starts getting singles matches with the main roster women. I just didn't like Sasha coming out with those two, and not having her music. They were cramping The Boss' style.
-
So Taker is getting his win back? How fucking stupid.
-
Wait are they making Taker a fucking heel?
-
Anything other than Lesnar murdering this geek will be a disappointment.
-
Owens taps lolf'nl.
-
This is definitely a match with moves and kickouts. Can someone inject some psychology into WWE's style please? Multiple finisher kickouts cue the half hearted this is awesome chants.
-
Those idiots gave Brie a backdrop driver when they were supposed to catch her. I hope Cena/Owens do something other than paint by the numbers WWE spotfest that every other match has been.
-
I guess having to sit through a 30 minute Bray/Roman match is worth it to get Luke Harper back into the fold.
