Anyway you try to explain it it's still a shitty program to be headlining your weekly tv product with heading into a Mania. They could turn Bray Wyatt face on Raw next week, and the fans would be red hot for a Wyatt's v Authority/ Bray vs HHH storyline. Roman isn't over enough to justify this push. He doesn't have the charisma to be a WWE baby face ace. He's not Hogan, Austin, Rock, or Cena and he never will be. You can't got out there and bore the fans on the mic, enter through the crowd to tepid reactions, and wrestle to silence half the time, and be viewed as a top guy. I have friends that are AE casual fans, and they talk about seeing Reigns enter through the crowd to no reaction. People watching at home don't view him as a star. I get more talk about Rollins and Owens being good from those fans.

$13,000,000 in 1999 is equal to $18,705,035 in 2015. So no Cena isn't close to what Austin was doing.

Cesaro was the first name that came to mind, but he's more of an offensive wrestler that imo doesn't really sell that well. I have higher hopes for Zayn than this role(wishful thinking) , but he would be excellent at it. I think Ziggler has been jobbed out too much, and I'm not a fan of his work anyway. Del Rio wouldn't be a bad choice, but I really don't think he's that over. I think Zayn and Cesaro are the most likely candidates.

I think she got a lot of heat for saying Paige was a bully in NXT. I don't see the big deal with Lana Alexa Bliss is younger, just as hot, and can work matches. It's no big loss for WWE if they cut her.
-
Because Haitch already took Brock out at a Mania so the King of Kings has no fear of Brock. I think we get an AJ heel turn when the Balor Club angle hits the main roster. If that group can actually draw boos that is. Is it just me or is Charlotte the best pure heel in WWE right now?
-
The talent roster by summer could be one of the very best in company history if the people currently out hurt are back, and 6-8 of the top NXT talents like Balor, Zayn, Joe, Bayley, Asuka, Jordan and Gable, are on the main roster with AJ and Nakamura.

Man Jericho is terrible. AJ wining his debut with a roll up? AJ vs Neville would've been a better way to debut him on Raw.
-
Was mid 90's face Hogan booked as a geek that couldn't get the job done and was constantly bettered by the heels? Because if he wasn't I don't see the comparison.

So, AJ Styles is really, really small.

I'm interested to see how over he gets with the casuals. I think his style will baby face him pretty quick to the younger fans. Regarding him being too small to Styles Clash big dude's I don't think it's an issue. AJ has a million other moves like the backflip ddt, spiral tap, springboard 450, calf killer etc that could end matches. My personal favorite of his is the spring board fore arm that is a thing of beauty. -
If they had eliminated Roman after the attack then had his return at the end be just kicking the LON's and HHH's ass to help Ambrose it probably would've got Roman cheered. It seems that most of the time they like doing the opposite of what would get Roman cheered.

The most over guy in the match was someone who had wrestled zero matches in the WWE before tonight. If that's not insulting enough for the bookers the second or third most over guy was wrestling his second main roster match.
-
The booking made Roman look weak as fuck taking a 30 minute break. If they had left him out there the whole time maybe he would've got some sympathy. I might have believed Ambrose had a shot if he wasn't already the IC champ. After this I don't know why everyone in the Rumble doesn't just fake an injury and come back at the end. Brock stiffing Stroman was hilarious. The rest of the company looks good, but that main event feud is the drizzling shits.
-
Fuck that shit. It was a really good Rumble outside of the Roman/HHH bullshit. Brock and Styles were the MVP's. They did a good job setting up feuds, but fuck that main event feud.
-
Brock's bitch slap to Jericho was glorious.
-
Really good ladies match. I wish Becky would've got the win. Big pop for Sasha the women are the best booked angle in the company lol.
-
That was really sloppy. Kalisto almost died on that botch, and the rana into the exposed steel looked fake as hell.
-
Enjoyed the opener, and found the tag title match to be pretty rough. Usos do nothing for me.
-
I agree Roman going coast to coast for the win is the worst thing they could do. I think they may let an underdog(aka anyone but Roman, Brock, or HHH) win, but that person will lose the belt before Mania. Ambrose could win the Rumble, and drop the belt in a massacre to Brock at Fastlane setting up Brock vs Roman 2.
-
I don't see anyway they put Bryan in the Rumble. AJ Styles will the appease the smarks entrant this year.
-
I was sick of Del Rio half way through his return match. Anybody worth a damn would've got over by now with the amount of pushes they've given him over the years.
-
Brie has looked fine to me in the matches I've seen her in. She's a perfectly acceptable mid card enhancement talent. I don't get the hype on Nikki some of the worst women's matches I saw in WWE in 2015 had her in them. Her tv work seems to be mostly misses with the occasional decent ppv match. It was obvious the NXT girls had to work at half speed so she could keep up.

Steiners were definitely one of my favorites. You just never knew what crazy shit they would bust out. The Great Muta became my favorite wrestler in 1989 just based off his squash matches. Just the way he moved around the ring and the explosiveness he had made him look like the best athlete on the planet. The S.S.T was also pretty awesome around that time.
-
Brock is probably the most over baby face right now. Bryan, Styles, Balor, Zayn, Cass & Enzo, and Bayley would certainly help in the baby face department if they aren't treated like jokes.
-
I kind of hope that's the big summer angle. It's the 20th anniversary of the NWO angle this year so why not do a Bullet/Balor Club invasion angle. Bryan apparently has been cleared to compete by UCLA's doctors now. I understand WWE wanting to hold him off until after Mania, but they have no over baby faces right now, and a 15-20 minute Bryan match would look really good filling out the Mania undercard.
-
The fans were dead silent during the Wyatt/Lesnar angle. I seriously didn't hear one person in the crowd make a noise. Weeks of Bray spouting supernatural bullshit at Brock is about the last thing I want to see. Brock's character wouldn't give a shit about any of that stuff. Bray will run his mouth a bunch and Brock will suplex his fat ass back to the midcard. Losing to Brock in a hard fought match is only going to make the fans want to cheer Bray, and unless they plan on turning him I don't get why they would do the match. Brock vs Ambrose makes more sense. I don't think Brock vs Nakamura is likely(it's probably more likely Vince doesn't know who Nakamura is), but it's arguably the two best big match workers in the world both at their peaks at the biggest show of the year. So yeah fuck Bray Wyatt lol.
