  1. I used to record matches to VHS starting in 1990 so I had a collection of all the best tv matches to watch whenever I wanted. I remember things being so bad in 95 I started a jobber tape, and just put a bunch of shitty "comedy" matches on it because the big two sucked so hard. It wasn't long after that I started watching ECW out of necessity. I guess I'd have to give the edge to WCW they had 4 months of Nitro, and seemed like a fresher product by bringing in guys like Guerrero, Malenko, Benoit, and Sabu.
  2. Maybe he'll stop working 2003 indy style now. Cena needs to work smarter than this if he wants to be around another 5 years. He's killing himself for this is awesome chants from the neckbeards.
  3. This company is atrocious right now. NXT is 5 times better with 1/5 of the talent.
  4. It's crazy to think Sasha is the second youngest person on the roster while easily being one of the more polished all around acts they have. What's the ceiling on her if she keeps getting better(which I think she will) at 28? My wishful thinking list is Rusev, Ambrose, Zayn, Sasha, and Reigns as the biggest stars 5 years from now. Cena, Brock, Orton, and maybe Punk could be the part time/ big match crew.

Which will work just fine if they turn Charlotte and put her in the Authority like they should. They may actually end up with a heel that gets booed and a face that gets cheered for once.
  6. I don't know that they can keep Sasha heel much longer with no likeable faces opposite her. The fans have already picked up on the fact that she's head and shoulders above the other women as an all around performer. I'd turn Charlotte have her join the Authority as women's(not fucking divas) champ, and have babyface Sasha chase it. You do the spoiled rich girl that thinks she's genetically superior vs the hard working woman who had to fight to make her own breaks, and you've got a great feud with defined characters that can work their asses off. After Sasha wins the belt success starts to go to her head, and she has to cheat to keep the belt from Becky in what should be the best in ring rivalry they've ever had in the women's division. After Sasha has been reestablished as a heel it'll be Bayley time. So yeah build around Sasha, and keep at least 3 or 4 women credible for title challengers.
  7. All they had to do was have him take the US title off Cena. That would've helped win over the section of the fan base that doesn't like him, and gave him more credibility. As it stands now he pretty much has to turn heel it's just not happening as a babyface.

I think they just have to dumb the main roster women's matches down to protect the ones that can't work(which appears to be just about everyone that wasn't a recent call up). This is the first time in ages I've paid close attention to main roster diva matches, and of the ones already up before the recent call ups only Naomi looks good in the ring and she's prone to botches. To go from Sasha and Bayley tearing the house down Saturday in a motyc to the women getting shit on Monday in front of probably a similar audience is just staggering. I guess it comes down to booking, presentation, and not having the Bellas around.

The Bellas are cancer. Second straight night the stuff with the divas felt like sabotage booking. Are the Bellas really so bad they have to put together these first week of wrestling school matches for them?
  10. How many people had Jon Stewart being the guy to get the rub when Cena dropped the US title? This company really knows how to make new stars.
  11. Awesome match and effort from Brock and Taker ruined by fucktard booking.
  12. Tag matches were awesome. Jon Stewart lol. I didn't like Cena no selling the frog splash, and Rollins no selling the figure 4 spot. Good spot fest, but Jon Stewart WTF. The layout to the divas match was crap. Stay in NXT girls. I loved Owens/Cesaro, but the crowd was spent.
  13. I don't love or hate the curtain call, but those girls earned the right to take a bow for building that division up and stealing the show for the past 4 or 5 Takeovers on their way out. Maybe they could have done it off camera, but that was HHH's call. Sasha isn't going to get booed against the Bellas regardless even the fans in Minnesota were cheering Sasha over Nikki. This was pro wrestling 101 a great heel a great baby face in front of a red hot crowd with a tremendous build and they tore the house down with a great match giving the babyface her long anticipated title win. I don't see how someone who calls themselves wrestling fan couldn't enjoy this.
  14. My most anticipated match of the weekend delivered and them some. Fucking ace match and storytelling from the ladies. Sasha is fucking ridiculously good.
  15. I would be sold on Cena winning, and Sheamus cashing in to win the world title leaving Cena as US champ if Sheamus were more over. Still though I'd love to see a Sheamus/Cesaro slugfest for the world title. Other than Cesaro/Owens and New Day being awesome there's not much to look forward to. I'm way more hyped for the NXT show for the women's match alone.
  16. I think the brand split really helped guys like Cena, Bryan, and Punk get over when they weren't going to get featured time on Raw. I'd like for Smackdown to be the place where NXT talents debuted so you could get the main roster audience more familiar with them before moving over to Raw. Some acts like Cass and Enzo wouldn't need it, but most would. You could have guys like Owens and Cesaro headline the second brand, and also make stops in NXT when needed.

Outside of Cesaro/Owens I don't really care about anything at Summerslam, and it's not like that match has been very well built. There's no possible result to Cena/Rollins or Brock/Taker that would make me care. If Seth wins he continues his terrible run or Cena wins his 100th title, and then possibly transitions it to non over Sheamus. If Brock beats Taker so what he's already done it in a much bigger match. If Taker wins clean you just had a broke down 50 year old go over the biggest beast in WWE history. If Kane gets involved lol.
  18. Both of the big 2013 matches feel like top 5 matches to me. I'd have Angle/Austin, Bret/Perfect, and HBK/Razor round out my top 5. I have no idea if HHH/HBK holds up or not. Most of the drama for me was wondering if HBK would be crippled due to his back injury, but him going on to wrestle for 8 years after that match kinda takes away from it.

Cena wins at Summer Slam then Sheamus cashes in to leave Cena with the US belt. Then sign me up for some Sheamus vs Cesaro slugfests for the world title. Reigns should be the one to take the US belt off Cena. Brock or Cena can beat Sheamus and carry the belt into Mania. IDK what they do with Rollins once he drops the belt, and honestly I don't care. That guy is like Del Rio to me only about half as good of a worker.

Bayley/Sasha is easily my most anticipated match of the Summer Slam weekend. I don't know if it'll headline, but good luck to whoever has to follow it. Sasha is the best worker in NXT, and Bayley is the best babyface so it should be a ton of fun.
  21. Just look at the winners from this year's Mania. Did they really expect Reigns, Rusev, Bray, Ambrose etc to be able to carry the company the rest of the year after coming up short at the biggest show? Make some damn stars FFS.
  22. Dana White is a jackass and an embarrassment to the UFC regardless of what you think about his comments on wrestling. He routinely bashes his own fighters, and treats them like shit.

    WWE TV 7/27 - 8/2

If they want to "make" the guy who beats Cena for the US title it should be Reigns. Have him win that then go on a big run towards the world title.

    Dean Ambrose's selling

Rusev is the best seller on the main roster. Sasha was great in her match with Becky.

    Dean Ambrose's selling

He doesn't stand ou as being bad at it. In fact Ambrose is one of my favorite guys to watch sell in the WWE. His FIP work in the Wyatt six man tags was outstanding.
