Given that Bayley gimmick is that she is the ultimate optimist to be depressed or angry is out of character. I mean sure you can think of some kind of angle where she is so depressed about losing she goes to a dark place until someone from her past wakes her up for another run against Asuka but doing this at the height of her popularity is way too risky. Plus nobody really knows how long she is going to be at NXT and this is an angle you build for months.

Well you can argue that the Wrestlecon supershow is their presence. You had Pentagon Jr twice, Jack Evans, Rey Mysterio Jr, Melissa Santos, and many other guys on the show. But I agree that a full Lucha Underground show would be done great business for a company that frankly needs outside income. and based on the number of LU shirts that weekend, it would have done really good business. Hell I believe they did run a house show in Austin a couple weeks before that had a huge crowd.

I am not sure who is more obsessed with the star ratings of Wrestlemania weekend shows, Dave or the people sending him questions on twitter. Wish I had a dollar for every reference on my time line about the "star ratings" on Sami vs Nakamura

The only thing I thought seeing this was that this is how they get Cowboys fans to care about the game. Like when you have to tell the fans to scream and cheer when it is 3rd down and they are on defense

I don't think this is the case at all, they pushed the shit out of him in NXT. When NXT first turned into it's own little promotion he was pushed as a top heel. They wanted him to get in shape, which let's face it wasn't unreasonable, but he somehow kept gaining weight. From what I understand they told him that the door was open for him to return if he showed a greater commitment to conditioning. And since then he has gained about 50 pounds. Granted he is still as awesome as before but he is way past the "skinny fat" phase

I think the judge of how much influence this really is will be Chris Hero. it is obvious that the WWE didn't see anything in him especially Triple H who is running this entire game right now. If we start seeing less of him then you know that EVOLVE is basically the OVW of NXT.

Well she was on the promo picture for the Ryder vs Miz rematch on Smackdown this week so i guess she is at least there for at least a brief period The fact that a small percentage of people still think Triple H vs Reigns is going to happen at next PPV even with AJ winning the match tells you that the way they booked Styles has been weird at best Most of the people who are doing the "see you internet SMART MARKS you were wrong as usual" are also the same people that still think Daniel Bryan winning the title at WM 30 was the original plan all along.

Okay as bad as Shane's MMA was I am still convinced he would beat the shit out of CM Punk. Fuck AT&T stadium sideways as that was an incredibly horrible experience to get in the building. According to reports the ticket scanners were screwed up because the WiFi was really bad. missed entire pre show. Then get in about 20 mind before main show and it is complete chaos with fans pushing and shoving cause apparently there was problems getting on the floor. If you were claustrophobic you would thought you went to hell. At least the food was good in concessions

Another match (Ryback vs Kalisto) is being moved to the pre-show. but the good news is that the battle royal is now on the main show which is good because at this rate they would have needed a 35 minute Rock promo to fill up the 4 hours.

When Meltzer tells us that they (being the WWE) actually thought Eva Marie would get a really good reaction last night; I am going that person is jerking his chain because nobody can be that completely stupid. I still think the going opinion is that nobody wants her in the match and they go out of their way to remove from the match. The theory that this is how they get Bayley to debut is a good one but not sure I would go that far

That was much better than last year's RAW before Wrestlemania. Although I remember after RAW people having no faith in a good WM and it was much better. So hopefully the opposite doesn't occur this year

Next weeks Takeover show is going to be really interesting because logically you assume that every title could change hands AND Zayn loses in the same night. It wouldn't make sense for American Alpha to lose to way they are so hot right now. I would assume that Bayley is losing to Asuka so she can get ready to be buried on the main roster. And I would think Balor loses to Joe to set up Finn and the Bullet Club going to the main roster. I guess it really depends on how many NXT people are getting called up the day after Wrestlemania.
