  1. Paul sure was a visionary talking up Mean Mark being the next big thing in wrestling. He puts over the U.S. Title as being almost a requirement for any future World Champions.
  2. They ended up naming the Dunce corner after Big Boss Man due to him being the worst student. Some good acting by the teacher.
  3. Looks like they just set up a ring in a park. Hopefully we are wearing our sun screen. Great stuff. The end up on a river bank. So Funk goes for the Spinning Toe Hold and right away you know he's pretty screwed due to the common counter to the move. And yes he ends up in the river. Awesome. Stan thinks he needs another soak though and then bodyslams him which draws a disqualification and a hilarious announcement from the ring announcer. Lot of fun.
  4. Somebody had sent Tessa a necklace. Tatum makes a short joke about Dundee’s height. Tatum has a romantic poem for Tessa. Tatum has more poems for Tessa. He’s quit drinking, for a few days. Working out and his tan looks good. Tessa has to take him back now. Tatum has lots of hugs for everyone. He offers a bunch of handshakes out of respect to his opponent. Tatum gets a cheap kick and wins the cobra clutch. He is sorry to have hurt his opponent though.
  5. With Dundee's helpful tips about the ladies and some Arrogance, I'm ready to hit up the bars this weekend.
  6. There is a package for Tessa. Dundee knows the woman want their men to treat them like ladies. If Tatum had done that he would be still be with Tessa. Dundee has another kiss for Tessa.
  7. Pringle was asking questions to Austin that a heel announcer/interviewer shouldn’t be. Good promos by both. Austin and Jeannie want a piece of both Adams. Austin delivers a nice release German. Flying shoulder tackle win it. Jeannie had a nice looking right hand. She was just laying them in. Austin and Jeannie sign their part of the contracts before Chris and Toni Adams show up. They run off Austin and Jeannie and happily sign the contracts for a match next week. I'd be scared of just signing these contracts. What if promoter had something actually drawn up like you giving your house to them and you went ahead and signed it without reading as thought you were just signing some random paper as part of an angle.
  8. Lawler gets the cover but Leon Spinks refusing to count. Spinks gets physically involved more when Lawler has the advantage. Lawler pushes Spinks who ends up punching him in return. Snowman wins the title. Felt like a heel finish. Where’s Dave Brown?! Lawler has on a Leon Stinks tshirt. Lawler doesn’t think Snowman deserves title as it was Spinks who won it. Match signed for Monday between Lawler and Spinks. While Lawler does mention Spinks beating Ali he still calls him a nobody. Leon Spinks is wearing Fred McGriff’s baseball hat with the straight bill. Spinks promo has noticeable edits so he must have been all over the place. It was interesting. Clips of Spinks versus Ali. Wonder if they had permission to actually show this. Going 15 rounds is insane.
  9. They are trying to humanize Warrior more as he has less face paint and brings out a young female fan. Was kind of creepy. I hope that was his daughter or something. He kept talking about Warrior Love while holding her in his arms.
  10. Gene is still wearing his friendship bracelet. So Saved by the Bell. Keep sending those letters to Hulk. Gene is making this out like Hogan has a terminal disease. His music video was done pretty great though as they go into the archive and play a different version of Real American. Dramatic.
  11. Felt like they missed a few things and the first fall finish didn’t look like it went as planned. The fans are so behaved. There is no railing at ringside but they keep in their seats. They show the longest replay I’ve seen of the first fall. Rudos rough up their opponents to get second fall. Looked easy. We start to get some heel miscommunication spots though thanks to Sagrada’s speed. He can move. Nice roll up for the finish.
  12. Takada seemed better early using some good looking striking combinations. They kind of lose me slightly in the middle of the match but gets better when they start striking again and using the KO spots. Maeda looks to do the capture suplex but instead turns into the leg submission. Match got much better as it went on.
  13. Junkyard is in the IWA to face Lawler. JYD could still talk.
  14. Once Jake hits the DDT then Damien gets to feast but Bad News didn’t allow that in previous match. Gene reminds us that News is scared of snakes. Roberts is not the type of guy to exploits someone’s weakness. Of course he is. Another good promo from Jake.
  15. Again Toyota attacks early and bloodies up Hotta. But similar to last match her opponent is able to take over. This time Hotta kicks her repeatedly. Hotta follows up with her own submission including a nasty looking Boston Crab that had Toyota’s neck bent back. Toyota gets in a long sleeper. Really only time Hotta has looked vulnerable. But Toyota gets stronger towards end of match. Toyota gets a pin off a roll up in the corner to win title. Good match.
  16. Toyota does her jumping out of the gates multiple drop kicks. From there Hokuto takes over. She bends Toyota repeatedly. Hooking in a single leg crab pretty good. Toyota sure is flexible. Toyota gets knocked to the outside and Hokuto climbs to the top rope. Ouch. She completely smashes her knee on the guardrail and looks really hurt. Uh oh, she’s getting into the ring. They call off the match and I’m relieved as I thought she would going to try go on. That was uncomfortable.
  17. Atlas doesn’t let just anyone wash his car and cut his grass. That's actually the thing about the last few promos from is I don't know who he is going after.
  18. Horsemen are confident of putting up any combination against the Dudes With Attitudes.
  19. Tatum’s opponent misses a charge and crotches himself. John feels bad about winning like this and apologizes. A nice hug too before kicking him in the back. Then it gets real good as he mouths off to a female fan and then throws the jobber into the second row. The female fan reaches out trying to catch him too. That’s what you get for calling Tatum a jerk. Tatum was awesome here.
  20. Pringle wishes Fritz a Happy Father’s Day and questions what type of father he is for letting his kids get beat up every week. Bringing mom into was not necessary.
  21. There was a lot of wrestling hotlines back in 1990. Two dollars a minute is a lot. People must have gone broke.
  22. Austin does a good promo detailing previous match with Adams and Toni’s involvement. Jeannie makes fun of Toni’s clothes and that Chris is probably cheating on her. Jeannie was in the National Examiner but they don’t do a close up so she may have just been full of it.
  23. Jarrett wins with a small package. Didn’t really hook the leg there. Falcone and Gary Young run in. Falcone somehow manages to almost crush is own throat on the tope rope while being Irish whipped. The numbers advantage is too much with Devastation Incorporated. Jarrett ends up getting hot sauce rubbed in his eyes. Interesting choice of weapon.
  24. Jarrett wants to talk with Akbar. He brings up a previous offer of $5K to join Devasted Incorporation and that Jarrett would be the one to beat Lawler for the title. Jarrett thinks he should be worth more money than $5K. Akbar doubles the offer and offers Jarrett a check. Akbar puts Jarrett in a tag team with Jeff Gaylord. Announcer makes a comment about bulging Gaylord hanging out in a dance club. Jarrett suggest Gaylord do some posing. This is setting up for Jarrett to not being truthful about joining up with Akbar. And yes, he nails Gaylord. Money issues Brinkhouse Brown, Reggie B. Fine and Sweet Johnny Falcone. Brown seems to be holding out on them. Reggie doesn’t like to be ganked. Fine and Falcone attack Brown in the ring. Jeff Jarrett runs down to the ring to save Brown. Fine has some akward selling. Akbar is out a total $25K due to Jarrett and Brown. An offer has been made by Jarrett and Brown that they will put up $5K each and Akbar match for a winner takes all. Akbar is mad since it’s his own money that is being put up. He still agrees to the match.
  25. Dirty White Boy gets put in a sleeperhold and decides to get himself disqualified. Tessa tries to help Dundee and Tatum shows up. Seems like they are actually crossing over the Memphis and Texas angles. DWB doesn’t like Dundee talking about the Dirty White Girl. He’s fine with punching Tessa’s teeth out. Anthony will be collecting the bounty.
