[1990-07-08-WWF-Wrestling Challenge] Interview: Ultimate Warrior
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
They are actually going to have a Rude/Warrior match between the two before Summerslam. The Warriors are lowering Ultimate Warrior’s dosage. He must be pissed. -

[1990-07-21-USWA-Championship Sports] Interview: John Tatum
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
The belt is pretty small. If Dundee wants a shot at Tatum it with have to be a Texas Tornado Death match. Popular match. Tatum lets us know he only uses these fat Texas for the night. Totally Understandable.- 10 replies

Iceman Parsons drops the Uncle Tom reference on Sweet Sugar Brown. We get another big pull apart with Jarrett and Parsons. Brown wants to see them fight. I keep confusing Gary Young with Scott Hall during these pull a parts.

Jeannie and Austin beat up a hapless jobber. Austin wants to personal thank both Pringle and Iceman Parsons for watching his back. There is going to be another mix tag match. Jeanne says she can do things ten times better than Toni and she can confirm this with Chris. Austin agrees. Jeannie has some naughty photographs which she wants Pringle to deliver.

[1990-07-21-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Interview: Ric Flair
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Flair wants Sting to know that he has the burden of beating Flair and taking the World Title away. Horsemen have nothing to lose now. More serious Flair. -
Cowabunga is watching some TV and flipping channels. He’s excited to find some wrestling on the tube. Master Splinter is with him. Gaylord the Great is Cowabunga’s most difficult challenge. Don't know how they got away with this with copyright issues.

They spell Eddie Gilbert’s name wrong on the screen graphic. Gilbert doesn’t waste time using a foreign object. He attacks Lawler’s throat. But once Lawler gets the advantage the Dirty White Boys hit the ring. We have fire which I was just waiting for but Lawler ducks and Tom Burton gets it in the face instead. Eddie of course blames Lawler for the whole thing. Lawler gives his support to a local politician who does martial art moves in a wrestling ring to some guy. Did she win?

Brief clips with Dundee pinning Tony Anthony. What? Apparently Anthony won this match. Okay, so had to rewind. Why would the ref count a three without looking??!!! I hate awful officiating. Anyways they did a switch when Burton came down after the original three count and flipped Anthony on top of Dundee. So the referee ends up listening to the crowd and reverses the finish for the Lawler/Dundee victory. The camera angle isn’t the best but Dirty White Girl rips off Tessa’s shirt anyways. Dave Brown is missing again. Lawler out for a brief interview before being interrupted by Gilbert, Dirty White Boys and Girl. Dundee saves Lawler with a bat. Trick by Lawler as he previous said Dundee was down in Texas. New stipulation as Burton will be handcuffed along with the women. Anthony wants to go one step further and have a tag team Texas death match. He wants Lawler and Dundee to bring their baseball bats. Gilbert is upset that Lawler set up a trap for them. He was only out to congratulate who great a wrestler Jerry is. Dirty White Girl’s overdoing it with the hairspray.

[1990-07-21-WWF-Superstars] Summerslam Report w/Gene Okerlund
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Tugboat will be in Hogan’s corner to keep an eye on Bravo and Jimmy Hart. Another crazy Warrior promo talking about normal world inside fifteen foot steel cages. I like Rude and all but I find myself more into the Hogan/Earthquake match at this point. -
[1990-07-21-WWF-Superstars] Sgt. Slaughter vignette
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Sgt. Slaughter at the gun range. He is no longer proud of his country as it has gone soft. He doesn’t like the US embracing Volkoff. These started earlier than I expected. The really did build up guys with vignettes back in the day.- 12 replies

[1990-07-14-WWF-Superstars] Update: Summerslam update
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Gene informs us that Beefcake has been sidelined due to a recent boating accident. Mr. Perfect will still defend his IC Title though. Demolition will only be allowed to have two members ringside for their match against the Hart Foundation. Will also be two out of three falls. -
Toyota’s multiple dropkicks are not working Bull. Nakano shrugs off the earlier offense from Toyota. Couple times it looked like Toyota could have got her neck really screwed up on suplexes. Seemed like Bull was doing a nothern lights suplex but Toyota took it the wrong way. And she just got clotheslined on top of her head! Oh my! And powerbombed too! Crap. Bull looked like such an ass kicker. Heck of a short match.

[1990-07-20-USWA Texas] Steve Austin & Jeannie Clark vs Chris & Toni Adams
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Fans do enjoy the women going at it. Adams keeps launching Austin over the top rope to the outside. Similar to the previous mix tag team match with brawling early and then going to chinlock spot. At least it is shorter. The women go for a chase around the ring and both of them wipe out on the slippery floor. Austin tags in Jeannie and she does some ground and pound. Adams gets very physical with his ex wife and ties her up in the ropes. Toni gets in a couple free shots but takes too long and Jeannie breaks free. They are giving them women more time together but they still tag out quickly. Pringle gets hit by accident and then grabs Toni from behind. Chris Von Erich saves Toni temporarily but Austin puts an end to that quickly. Jarrett attacks Austin but then Icemen attacks Jeff. Brawling all over the place. Great ending.- 10 replies

I thought Kabuki left with Tenryu. Jumbo all over Williams and Gordy for a bit. Williams gets Gordy in the Oklahoma Stampede but Hansen! trips him up on the outside. Interference in AJPW? Big moment as it allows Jumbo to comeback and win with the backdrop.

[1990-07-14-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Stan Hansen vs Tommy Rich
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Tommy tries to brawl early but Hansen is too much. Rich keeps fighting though. What’s up with guys having trouble getting Irish whipped off the ropes. Hansen had a stutter here. Hansen really drives those elbow drops. Cheap DQ and Hansen clothesline the ref for it. Rich looked good in the match and I liked where they were going with this. Missy looking really hot. Nick Patrick, who seems to have this authority, suspends Hansen for 30 days and fines him too. -
Bruno distracts Lawler who gets rolled up by Snowman. The Wild Things attack Lawler but Dundee makes the save. Dirty White Boys give the heels the number advantage again. Snowman! He comes to Lawler and Dundee’s aid. Feud over. Jeff Gaylord might be crazy. He comes yelling and talking about how good looking he is. He does a couple one handed push ups. He continues yelling but wants to be the next champion. Then he just walks away. Snowman thinks it will be one of the most exciting tag matches of all time.

Lawler plugs his appearances. He’s putting his hair on the line in a softball game. Well that’s interesting. Clip of tag match against Tatum/DWB. Tessa and Dirty White Girl are rolling around on the match. Tessa’s dress was pulled up. Spike piledriver on Tatum for the DQ finish. Lawler and Dundee get beat down after the match. Lawler and Dundee will face the Dirty White Boys. Tessa and DWG will be handcuffed to their corners. Winning team gets to unlock their valet first. Lawler says Tessa will strip down DWG. Dundee repeats the match stipulations that Lawler stated. Tessa will pull off DWG shirt. Anthony is not pleased with DWG having to be handcuffed. Close up shots of DWG. Previous recording interview with Tatum having a towel wrapped his neck from the piledriver. He thinks his neck is broken. Poor Tatum. Who’s going to feed his 86 year old mother. Back in studio and Gilbert tells Anthony he doesn’t have to worry about finding a tag partner.

[1990-07-14-USWA-Memphis TV] Jerry Lawler and Dirty White Boys
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Dirty White Boys beat some locals. Anthony hits a nice swinging neckbreaker. Lawler hits the ring with a bat. Lawler piledrives Burton in the ring. Anthony grabs a chair and him and Lawler of a weapon swinging contest. Anthony is starting to get this thing together. -
[1990-07-14-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Eddie Gilbert
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Eddie asks Dave Brown if maybe Dundee left the money. Gilbert pulls a fan out of the crowd who is Mark Curtis. Gilbert absolutely clobbers him. Ouch. Gilbert snaps. He wants his money. Pay the man. -
[1990-07-14-WWF-Superstars] Brother Love: Hart Foundation & Demolition
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in July 1990
Bret getting mic time. He’s wants to know why Demolition are using three wrestlers. Anvil doing most of the talking. Demolition joins us. Ax says Hart Foundation are full of excuses. Bret wants a tag match right now. Harts turn their back and head to the ring. Too easy for Demolition as they attack them from behind. Jesse is still doing commentary. -
Hulk wants to first thank all the Hulkamaniacs for all the support. God dug deep and created Hulkamania. Hulk brings up how much Tugboat helped him. Hulk was healthy enough to ride his Harley. Hulk will not retire! He’s been reborn. Hogan has signed to wrestle Earthquake at Summerslam. Hogan looked down at first but he was pumped by the end. Good promo and has me into the Earthquake match.
