  1. Can’t remember if ever seen this in full. Bret does a weird atomic drop that Misawa seemed to think was just going to be a double leg takedown. Time limit goes off in the middle of an Irish whip. Flat finish and the crowd is not happy. Apparently Bret has chosen this match to be on his new DVD release coming out this year.
  2. Lawler isn’t too worried being stuck in a tag match as he will win it all by himself. With Gossett as tag partner he will have to do so.
  3. I can picture Atlas rehearsing his promos in the mirror.
  4. Lawler with some harsh comments for the studio audience. We get a camera close up on a gentlemen who isn’t the most good looking which Lawler can’t help but take a verbal shot at. If that fan watched the show regularly he must have expected this.
  5. Rude is calling out new champion Warrior already. Rude is as sweaty as Jim Cornette was in the previous segment.
  6. Jimmy is just smitten with Woman. He offers the assistance of the Midnight Express to help out the Horsemen.
  7. Karate guys never seem to work out in wrestling or MMA. Looks like we are doing rounds here. Second round gets all crazy as they leave the ring and head into the hallway. Both guys get bloodies up pretty good. Not a whole lot of sportsmanship. Double clothesline leads to both men not making the ten count. I think anyways.
  8. I think this is near the end for Jesse as commentary. Crowd seems to be a bit more on Hogan's side. Total big match feel. Crowd is huge. Big strength challenges between the two early which the crowd eats up. Hogan gets clotheslined to the outside and gets his knee hurt. Knee looking fine though after a couple minutes. Jess name drops Richard Belzer when Hogan gets the front face lock on. Hebner sucks. He really hurts these matches on repeated viewings. His counts are just awful. Warrior hulks up and hits the repeated clotheslines. Hogan barely kicks out on a supllex. Bearhug is our first slow moment of match. Hogan outsmarts Warrior on the flying shoulderblock. Hebner is down though so no pinfall. Warrior gets his own false three count. Hebner actually makes a decent false three count. Press slam/splash but Hogan kicks out! Hulk up. Looks like the same old finish but Warrior avoids the leg drop and gets the pin off the splash. Really smart worked match between the two. Match still holds up well to me. Hogan presents the title to Warrior and passes the torch. Well, for a couple months anyways. Even Jesse shows some respect towards Hogan.
  9. You are nothing but a normal! Poor Sean Mooney. He’s just trying to do his job. I'd take as a compliment though after all the crazy stuff Warrior has been staying. He indeed is not normal.
  10. Jake with the awesome prematch promo. Cut to match and Jake is looking to put on the DDT. Virgil gets involved. Million Dollar Dream outside the ring. Jake gets counted out though and Dibiase wins by countout. Ah, the old days with count out and disqualification results on WrestleMania cards. Roberts hits the DDT after that match and gives out some of Dibiase’s legit money to the crowd.
  11. Steve Allen before joining up with the PTC. He makes fun of the Bolsheviks.
  12. Next WrestleMania at Los Angeles Collesium. Damn terrorists for making them switch venues. Be interesting if they take a run at the 100K mark in new Cowboys stadium some day.
  13. Piper added to his half black face by painting up his arm also. Match not shown which is good.
  14. Andre pretty much stays outside on the apron the whole match. Haku hits Andre in error and Demoltion put Haku away. Boo, not the real Demoltion music being played due to paying royalties. Heenan makes a big mistake hitting Andre in the face and The Giant smacks Bobby around. Haku tries the Giant himself and that doesn’t go too well. Andre’s last harrah. He takes the ring cart for himself and departs alone. Too bad he became a physical mess but nice to see him go out this way.
  15. I think they are working legal tags here but we playing lose with the rules. Not exactly dressed up as wrestlers. Some stiff looking kicks being thrown. Onita's powerbomb is pretty vicious when he folds guys up like that. Nice bloody brawl.
  16. Stalling to start with Lawler insulting the fans. Kerry is having none of it and rolls up Lawler from behind while he is on the mic. Ahh, I can’t make out what Lawler said to Hat Guy but it gets a good rise out of the crowd and seemed to put Hat Guy in his place. Looks like Lawler dropped his foreign object by mistake. Lawler uses a fireball to get out of the Claw. Creative. Match wasn’t much though.
  17. Looks like highlights of a stretcher match done previously. Hat Guy! Well without his hat. Nice use of the table/chair combo on the arm. It’s heavily wrapped up so it’s an obvious target. Into the crowd and up the steps we go. Well that’s a good way to get your opponent to try to quit by trying to throw them out of the press box. Drake kind of just leaves him and heads back the ring. Winters returns with a chair to his advantage. Piledriver on the floor. DDT on the floor on a chair. Kind of feels like offense for a last man standing match. Match kind of drags on. Screwy type finish where an Manager yelled into the mic that he quit and then put it in Winters hand looking like he was the one that gave up. Lots of other wrestlers show up and we have a post match brawl complete with some weak chair shots.
  18. Embry signed a bunch of blank contracts. That's risky. He know’s Akbar is up to something. Apparently someone off camera tries to get Embry to wrap it up and he’s not too pleased at that. He needs to have his say.
  19. Can’t believe Awesome was around this time. Never heard of him until late 90’s in ECW. He's a bit silly in his promo.
  20. Lawler shoots on the dinosaurs becoming extinct. Mike Awesome is stupid, half wit and an imbecile. That 65 Million Years Ago Guy.
  21. Sting does a promo while on the exercise bike. He’s completely focused on getting Flair back in the ring.
  22. Gene with the WrestleMania hype segment and runs down the card. The mix tag seems to be billed as the second biggest match on the card. Lots of matches on the card. I like that Robert Goulet does his promo in a tux.
  23. Sherri mentions that she was a former Women’s champion. Seems like they completely ignored that part of her history.
  24. Warrior has dialed down his urging of people to commit suicide. Need those folks to buy the PPV first. Hogan has gone back to his roots at Venice Beach on his bike. He rides into the Pacific Ocean to face his God. Hulk doesn’t think his people will follow the Warrior.
