  1. Mean Gene talks about Savage walking the Razor’s Edge. Big hint towards future happenings of WCW in 96. Flair takes out the referee early which is questionable when you are chasing the title. That might be the quickest referee recovery ever. Dusty with the “she handed the shoe to Flair”! Elizabeth has turned on Savage which is big I guess. Hogan takes his aggression out on Arn and lets Flair escape the cage.
  2. It is rather confusing for Pillman to walk out like that after a brief couple minutes of him and Sullivan laying into each other. Sullivan has urned his respect. Arn takes over for a few before Flair runs down to put an end to things. Ric would rather they focus on Hogan and Savage.
  3. Benoit was such a good addition to the Horsemen. The Four Horsemen beats down Savage. Tony wants to know where Pillman is. Tony is more concerned about Hogan thoughts. We get a Satellite interview of Hulk from Venice Beach with eye covered with bandage. I'm sure Tony can relax now.
  4. Flair is happy to have Woman back in his corner. He’s ready to rise to the top of the world.
  5. It’s great to see Lawler and Christopher side by side. I don’t think Christopher would have had much luck in WCW in 96. Scott Bowden looks confident taking on Downtown Bruno. Ha, Christopher nails Bowden with a superkick.
  6. Well, well. Check out this line up. Satanico with a much different look. Him and Dandy doing their same good mat work. Santo and Casas look so good together in the ring. Wasn’t as good as I would expect with the talent but did enjoy seeing Casas getting the straight up pin over Santo in the second fall.
  7. Cactus referring to his eating disorder is hilarious. Shane Douglas is back! I miss Johnny Polo. Saturn shaves off his stupid hair do. Smart move.
  8. No Sabu here. Yes, Teoh doing Terry Funk was the highlight. Tiger Mask and Shiryu totally missing on the clothesline was funny. That wasn’t even close.
  9. Benoit gets to hang with Savage for a few minutes. Woman attacks Savage. Hogan comes to the aid of Savage. Heavy boos for Hogan when he says he wants to put an end to Ric Flair. Nature Boy attacks Hogan from behind. Giant nails Hogan with a chair. The Zodiac looked to try to block Giant from inflicting further violence.
  10. The Ted Turner look a like sure got into playing up Ted. It really is sad to see WWF playing up being the small guy being run out of business when that was their whole act during the 80’s to take out others.
  11. This had to be a big match on WWF TV with Hart versus Undertaker. Diesel makes his expected appearance and takes out Undertaker. Big Jacknife powerbomb and Undertaker is out cold. Bret takes exception to this interference and slugs it out with Diesel after the match.
  12. I was such a big fan of Hakushi. He’s much better as a heel in WWF though. Kid with the Butterfly Suplex off the top rope for the clean win! Excellent action between the two but I felt like Hakushi could have contributed more to WWF during this era. But Kid looked really good. He needed a longer run in WWF once he turned heel.
  13. Michaels and Diesel still on good terms with each other. I hate those hats HBK fans wore in 96. Yoko’s weight is really getting up there. Yoko does his unconscious Summerslam 93 bump to the outside. Cornette is not happy with Yoko on this loss. Bulldog and Owen beatdown on Yoko turning him face. Hard to push Yoko at this size as anything but a heel.
  14. Woman plans on staying here a long time as the bitch she is. Woman gets carried out of the building by Scorpio as they send her off to WCW.
  15. Felt very average with the guys involved. Just never got to the level you would expect. Even Liger’s top rope DDT is poor compared to the 90-91 version.
  16. Both guys just turned 21 which is crazy. It’s a good match but I do prefer the Misterio/Psicosis matches to this. Had some nice moments. They really did overdue that Splash Mountain Hurricarana reversal finish by Rey. The two out of three falls match is much better.
  17. Love Cactus’ shirt. Match wasn’t much to see. More of just an angle between Cactus and Mikey. I do like Total Elimination move. They bet the belts off Cactus on his way out. Cactus ain’t pleased with Raven but still takes things out on Mikey. Post match Francine cuts off Saturn’s hair.
  18. Flair versus Savage in the cage. Ric refers to Liz as his former girlfriend going back to that phony WWF angle from 92.
  19. I miss these Saturday Night matches and going to the pay window. Luger gets down on his knees for a lock up! Guerrero surprising Luger early. Fun to see Guerrero go toe to toe with Luger. Eddie gets the surprise win by disqualification. Luger feels like still celebrating.
  20. I’m not recognizing everyone in this match. The shoot style stuff felt overdone at times. I’m curious the impact this was have on more on Japanese groups on the later yearbooks. The NJPW tag match from February 93 blew this away.
  21. Hamada! I'd go with the Rockers as they would get some serious height against the heavyweights in WWF. Pat Tanaka also gets my vote with his flippy 360 sell on the back drop.
  22. I have felt that Taue was underrated in earlier 90’s but I can understand he seemed much better off in a tag setting than in singles. It's a good match but such a tough follow on the Hansen/Kawada match.
  23. Right off the bat they are brawling all over the place. Hansen hits a great shoulder charge through the ropes to Kawada on the outside. Love those overhead camera shots of Kawada looking like he is out cold. I think Kawada sells the Lariat from Hansen the best. Excellent match and so physical between them.
  24. Welcome back Ric Flair to WCW. Poor Missy gets cut off by Flair’s security which is funny looking back to 90-91 yearbooks. Good call on the returns of Flair and Hogan to their organizations. Flair cuts a much better promo compared to Hulk.
  25. Jesse still struggling to understand where the Smokey Mountain area is in the US. The Express/Bodies still had some life in them to be part of a major promotion. Fun match though wanted a bit more.
