  1. Watching full match. When I first saw this back in 94ish, I thought Marty legit hurt his shoulder! Shawn rams Marty's right shoulder into the ring post. Of course Marty sells his left shoulder instead! Ha. Humorous to completely miss that on my earlier watches. Jannetty's ring outfit is awful. Both Shawn and Sherri looking pudgy. Have always liked this match. Worth checking out the full thing if you have not seen it. Gorilla calls the finish "a miscarriage of justice". Well Jannetty and Sherri tried to cheat and it backfired on them. Heenan to Monsoon, "What were you watching?"
  2. The young ins getting their shot. I feel like Kikuchi is past his peak. Again, I’ve only been interested in him when he’s up against Jumbo/Taue and getting thrown around or his matches against NJPW guys in next decade. It is amazing to see that Jun had only been wrestling a few months by this point as he seems like a total pro.
  3. The fireball was great as even though it seemed it didn’t connect from the camera angle you still had some smoke rising from Terry’s hair.
  4. Ross still plugging things to the very end. Ricky and Dustin get pissed off at each other when the spill out on to the floor. They are trying to keep their tempers in place and wrestle the match but things continue to build. Slapping each other around. Yep, well done babyface match with tempers continuing to boil as show goes off air.
  5. Cactus with the Barbarian are declaring war on Vader/Orndorff. I don’t know enough about Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce to know why they would be considered scallywags.
  6. Fantastic! Harley's lines/acting is so over the top bad. Vader and Sting have a impromptu tug of war with a strap. There will be a strap match at Superbrawl. I don't know if this would sell me on buying the PPV but it sure gave me a good laugh.
  7. Perfectly fine TV match with them going through the big moves in a short match. I really dig Windham’s jumping DDT finisher.
  8. I really liked Sting talking about previous match with Vader at the Bash mentioning about how he lost when he over shot the Stinger splash. He also puts over Vader and the devastating effect of the powerbomb. Tony brings up Vader’s invitation to Sting to go the White Castle of Fear. I eagerly await.
  9. I’d go to HonkyLand USA. Honky can’t get the matches he wants. He’s the greatest of all time. No mention of the Intercontinental title. Marlin wants Honky to work himself up the rankings before getting any title shots. Honky totally fit in Memphis and this segment was loads of fun.
  10. That monkey flip bump Estrada took was crazy. He was able to turn his body properly through the ropes to not land on his head on the floor though. Santo completely wiffed on the top rope doomsday bulldog. Some blame for Guerrero also. They were brave enough to show a replay of it too. Estrada’s low blow was funny as wasn’t a hard kick but just flick type blow in an asshole type way. Probably enjoyed the first fall mat work the most in this.
  11. Ugh, tournament final to crown new U.S. Champion ends in a count out. Windham’s takes out Steamboat on the floor who is out cold. I know Dustin had nothing to do with that but was a dangerous way of turning fans on him with winning title that way.
  12. What a contrast of hair styles between the two. They want a two out of three falls match as they feel endurance is their strength. Pillman feels like Steamboat/Douglas won because of a fluke.
  13. Kind of creepy that the dad was telling his daughter to give Erik Watts a big kiss. Oh, before everyone has camera phones and everything shows up on the internet. This guy carries around a video camera at a gas station. Watts putting the STF on Arn was pretty funny in the setting.
  14. Wearing a full suit with jacket says you ain’t going to stick around long in match. It’s a four way match but really just Smothers running a gauntlet against the heels as he takes them on one at a time. No team work done by the heels at all. Nothing spectacular here but it does get over Smothers as challenger to belt. Scallywags and Confederate Flag. Looks like 1993 is the year the south will rise again.
  15. Crush ain’t the smartest guy to turn his back on Doink like that. The fake arm in the a sling looked obvious. The beat down with the fake arm though looked vicious with Doink smashing Crush in the back of the head repeatedly. Wow. Crush is out cold and needs medical help.
  16. Ozaki is one of my fave Joshi wrestlers. Some fantastic action in the last few minutes. Much more interesting than the Joshi been watching in 90-91. Audience is much different going from the screeching female fans to a more heavily vocal male fanbase in this match.
  17. Jesse always likes to compare Shane Douglas to Rush Limbaugh. Austin with a real timely shot when Steamboat tries to suplex Pillman to outside. Steamboat cleverly takes a shot at Pillman and looks to escape Austin to make the hot tag out. But Austin catches him with a big suplex. They do another similar spot later with Steamboat finally making the tag. Great finish with the a big tease of Pillman almost getting the pinfall. Really good match overall.
  18. That’s a very believable couple in bed. That gal is much better looking than Chyna. I liked the olds school Raw opening. Even though Perfect and Flair are feuding they are really pushing the involvement and arrival of Narcissist. Poor Bobby can’t even get in the building for Raw. No token match for the first ever Raw? At least Undertaker versus Demento? Was only like four minutes long.
  19. Unusual execution of a face turn. Cactus is a bit crazy though. Good physical match. Vader yells visibly at Harley to get in position to hold Cactus’ legs for a big splash. Come on Harley! Cactus hitting everyone with the shovel was great.
  20. Watching an hour long match done from fan came is asking a lot out of me. Heenan out there managing Flair. Thought he was retired. The earlier arm work was pretty pointless and some of the Flair putting an arm bar on and using the ropes for leverage didn't make physical sense. Think this is my third time watching this one but I have to admit liking it a lot more on this viewing. It does get really good as match progresses. Flair was as good he had been during his WWF run. The hour long also had both guys doing more variety of offense. Flair totally had Hart on the ropes until the last few minutes where Bret was able to pick up the two falls. Crowd was going crazy at the end. Wish they had done some type of Coliseum Video taping of this.
  21. Good match. I agree with the the above regarding commentary. A solid performance by Jim Ross on the mic with Larry too getting over the story of match. Probably Ross' last decent performance on mic in WCW. Also didn’t mind finish as much with the ref bump but Nick Patrick catching in time the over the rope DQ while on the floor. I'm cool with the referees catching stuff like that.
  22. Tony looks like a school kid sitting next to Vader. New champ showing off the belt. Still feel like there should have been some planned photo/video clips of him winning the belt.
  23. Stud Stable putting Mantell on the spot for not getting them a tag title shot. Dutch needs to be more like Cornette! Dutch can't have liked that underhand shot. Cornette getting cocky there trying to hit a elbow drop off the middle rope. Stud Stable interfere in match causing the Bodies to lose. Brawl between the Bodies and Stud Stable. Express make the save and then try to shake hands. That was not smart.
  24. Doink being interviewed by Ray Rougeau. He’s no Sean Mooney. Fun clips of Doink’s previous hijinks to other wrestlers. I wasn’t watching at the time of heel Doink but he has been fun to watch since then.
