Eddie thinks he’s stepson of USWA watching other guys walking around with the belts. He should be a main event wrestler. He did seem legit angry.

That was some great mat work in the first fall. Really back and forth between two. Second fall, Casas methodically works over Dragon and is so determined to make him submit. I absolutely loved him getting the win in the fall and then cheapshoting Dragon after. He plays it up like nothing happened but has a big grin on his face once the referee determines match must resume. Dragon has been part of two excellent matches this month. While I thought they delivered good matches against each other on prior yearbooks we get something that is great here.

Harley took his while to get in the ring. His physical limitations make it hard on him to be breaking up pinfalls that are on the other side of the ring. But he still ends up helping Vader score the win and become champion again.

[1993-03-16-Michinoku Pro] Great Sasuke & Gran Hamada vs El Signo & El Rudo
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1993
Sasuke’s top rope dive was cool. Figured Sasuke/Hamada were going over easy but we get a flat finish with them getting counted out.- 7 replies

Gorilla mentions snow storm in area and history of WWE shows a four match card only with this being the longest match. Tickets must have been dirt cheap. Monsoon and Bartlett on the announce team. Even Heenan seems lost for words on Bartlett during this match. He was pretending to be Vince? I can’t remember who Nasty’s feuded with in all of 92. A move to WCW is for the best.

[1993-03-13-USA Wrestling] Interview: Junkyard Dog
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1993
Poor JYD laid up with a damaged neck and they still make him hold this gigantic mic for his promo. -
Heavy Metal climbing up on the ropes to protest something that happened in match and then falling almost on his head in the ring had me almost in tears. Later on his timing appears to be way off on him doing something in the corner where he almost wipes out again. I think he was doing the Midnight/Rock n' Roll jumping on the turnbuckle to protect an opponent. But he was so late I'm still not sure. Some botching of moves but the legit comedy, especially La Parka, made for a fun time.

Hara and Fuyuki with a quick early battle advantage and it’s enough for them to celebrate in the ring. Ohara’s face looks a mess. Poor guy is getting his ass beat but no sympathy from the fans when Hash tries to break up things. Ohara took that beating and made the tag to Hash but we get a finish that left me wanting me more. The roll up didn’t feel right and needed more Hash kicking guys.

[1993-03-07-WAR] Koki Kitahara vs Kuniaki Kobayashi
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1993
This would benefit more of being officially taped as they continue to spill out into the crowd. Very physical match. Kitahara with a real dick move kicking Kobayashi in the head after the match ended. -
The video quality on these Japanese fan cams can be impressive. You don’t see all the dives hit but you have a good enough idea what is going on. WAR fans behind Dragon. He misses a splash to outside as Samurai moves out of the way. Fans giving it to Samurai but he plays to them and gets some chants in return. Later on Samurai misses the same type of dive on Dragon and the crowd cheer for it. I like the organization loyalty by the fans. This turned out to be a pretty incredible match. Loved the exchanges on pinfall attempts late in match and everything was executed so well.

[1993-03-06-USA Wrestling] Junkyard Dog and Boris Zhukov
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1993
I thought they were going to botch the piledriver with Zhukov struggling to pick up Junkyard Dog. Instead Dog looked to get his head slammed into the floor. Ouch. -
[1993-03-06-SMW-TV] Tracy Smothers vs Dirty White Boy
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1993
I’m with those who really liked it. Brawling looked good and both guys end up bloody. I loved the finish with Ron Wright jumping out of his wheelchair to clock Smothers. Wright showed great agility backing into his wheelchair after and holding his chest like he was going to have a heart attack.- 12 replies

Be great if he ran into Crush on the beach. He feeds the birds before talking out an object and going on the attack.

Steamboat did a poor job letting Douglas know that Pillman was coming from behind. The ladies love Bagwell. Ventura talks about Bagwell being from Cranberry High School. Austin's dancing was great. I didn't think Jesse/Tony were that bad at first but once they went to that commercial break they seemed to mail it in. Bagwell was all fired up when he made the hot tag but was pinned a bit too easily.

Bischoff doing commentary. Those tracking issues were tough. Felt like by PS3 was getting screwed up just playing the disc. Nice finish though.

PG-13 have got the seal of approval from Chelsea Clinton. I wonder who competed in the Middleweight division.

Nice Savage video. Dave Brown has to chase Savage around trying to get the mic in his face when Randy is talking. Slim Jim breath! Heh. Savage after the Unified Title. Great back and forth between two guys who can talk.

Benoit plays to the crowd a lot. Looked pretty good as they wrestled a bit differently for the foreign audience. Would have liked if Liger used a different finisher. Brief clip of Malenko/Benoit and even Dean is playing it up the crowd.

Cool entrances. Nice moment with Riki knocking Tenryu off the apron to the outside. A pissed off Tenryu charges into the ring after making a tag and ends up almost getting taken out by an armbar. I didn’t think much of earlier portion of match but last few minutes were good. Does well to continue things on with Tenryu/Choshu.

The teams were one sided and Jun didn’t really feel like a natural partner of Taue at this point in his career. Was okay but Taue needed a stronger guy on his side to make a more competitive match. Jumbo was missing.
