  1. Randy Hales gets whipped by Tommy Rich with belt as Doug Gilbert holds him down. Lawler makes the save and this match comes and goes. Lawler wins and Gilbert unmasks to reveal his nearly bald head. Gilbert and Rich beat down Lawler after the match.
  2. Doug Gilbert is all crazy happy about beating Brian Christopher. Tommy Rich cuts a great promo on being the new USWA heavyweight champion. They then show a clip of a pull apart brawl between Scott Bowden and Randy Hales after Bowden talked shit. That was pretty great. Sid came out next and fucked up the promotion of his next title defense by saying he had a "mystery partner." Lawler came out and poked fun at him for it. He corrected his mistake and let everyone know that it was a "mystery opponent" Sid was trying to get across. Lawler then said he wasn't Sid's "mystery opponent" for contract reasons and brought out the real challenger. It was Lord Humongous and I laughed.
  3. The Razor commercial is amusing. The Savage commercial is funny too but not as good as the Razor one. Backlund was tremendous on The Heartbreak Hotel. I loved how he just used random words that may or may not have made sense in context.
  4. This was fun as hell and really good. The pre-match square off was tremendous and I loved that Tenta chose to start the match to build heat. Tenta letting Yamazaki know that kicks aren't going to effect him with a definitive nod was awesome. Vader and Albright were the stars here though with both guys going apeshit on each other and Albright suplexing and throwing Vader around. The finish is great with Yamazaki finally having his kicks become effective to allow Albright to take out Vader and make him submit. Great stuff.
  5. This was very good. It was pretty lopsided like Loss said. I really enjoyed the intensity of the strikes and the mat struggles. They also seemed to actually be beating the shit out of each other at times. Takayama should have been given a chance to take control and this match would have been really good.
  6. Yeah, I'd have the Shawn-Razor Ladder match at SS at number two after thinking about it. I think it's far better than the original. The original would be last on the list I posted earlier although it's still a great match.
  7. Blood On The Sand is The Midnight Rockers vs. Rose/Sommers from the Showboat in Las Vegas in the AWA in August of 86. It's a total bloodbath. They call it that because it was a bloodbath in Vegas. Sorry for being so vague. To clear up other confusions, The Brawl In St. Paul is the steel cage match on Christmas of 86 between the same teams. The 87 title switch is in January.
  8. Funny enough, I actually think Blood On The Sand is Shawn's greatest match ever. I know I didn't imply that in my earlier post but it was too difficult to arrange the other matches in a quick enough time.
  9. Shawn Michaels Top Ten Matches (In No Particular Order) Blood On The Sand Razor Ladder Match SS 95 Mind Games Brawl In St. Paul Jarrett IYH 95 Taker Mania 25 Cena Mania 23 Razor Ladder Match Mania X Cena Raw London 87 Title Switch
  10. This was good but I couldn't get myself too terribly interested. Ogawa just does nothing for me at this point. Akiyama put in one of his better performances so far this year but it wasn't enough for me to like this match a lot. I will say Kobashi's push is pretty extreme in 1994.
  11. This is a really great angle. Woman was entertaining here as well.
  12. This was a bizarre encounter. An intruder interrupted the match and a brawl ensued. Dick Murdoch showed up and wandered around. The match continued like nothing happened and Tenryu won with two powerbombs. Really, this wasn't all that great.
  13. Everything is so sad to watch now in this company. A mentally handicapped man is the biggest fan of the organization's new top star. What more can I say? And then Flair is cheated into agreeing to put his career on the line as well. Crummy.
  14. Ole is such a piece of shit and he can express that in this interviews. Good for him. Bryant's facial hair is some of the worst I've ever seen.
  15. Miss Texas almost exposes herself and Scott Bowden gets sprayed with fire. That's what happens in Memphis, Tennessee.
  16. Doug and Tommy cut some good promos. I enjoyed Tommy raving about his accomplishments.

Rock N Roll Express vs. The Gangstas (SMW 9/3/94) 15. Rock N Roll Express vs. The Gangstas (SMW 9/16/94) September was another disappointing month and might be worse than August but it has my number one WCW match of all-time so I can't complain about it too much.
  18. This match was good I thought. It was a fun wild brawl and the finish was very believable. Sabu was clocking Cactus with a non-gimmicked beer bottle over and over again. That shit was hard to listen to.
  19. Onita's team coming to the ring on a boat was awesome. This was a hell of a spectacle. Pogo gutting Onita was a little too much though. The eliminations were nicely set up though if I want to give this match any praise. Ultimately, it's just an amazing spectacle to see.
  20. Flair is walking around with his phony World title belt and Sherri looks as odd as ever. Dave Sullivan is terribly annoying during all of this. I feel like I'm watching WWF programming instead of WCW programming.
  21. Flair is really great here. Hogan shockingly compliments Flair here but sounds like the bad guy through all of this. WCW really gave away the match when assigning Mr. T and Muhammad Ali to be a part of the match.
  22. Candido is suspended for four weeks for giving someone a piledriver. Tammy is furious and Boo Bradley is just amusingly odd.
  23. Ricky Morton cuts a good promo. Robert Gibson is present like Loss said.
  24. New Jack cuts a tremendous promo again.
