I love these type of matches, review here http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/41269-kongo-kong-vs-danny-cannon-iwa-ms-5114/

I'm a sucker for David vs Goliath type of matches, this was literally billed as one and didn't disappoint. My only gripe about it was Danny kicking out at 1 after Kong's cannonball, everything else clicked with me. Loved Cannon showing fire and speed trying to one up the monster, but still getting caught numerous times because Kong is just too damn big and powerful. Finish was also great as it left no doubt about the winner. 13 minutes of very good wrestling.

It's gonna be at the Sears Center Arena in Chicago, TNA used that building years ago.

Thanks, haven't seen this in years and never a bad reason to watch some Austin from that era. Not sure what I'll take from a Benoit match at this point but don't mind sitting through it. It looks like you've seen a bit of one of my favorite wrestlers over the last few years in Shuji Ishikawa, so I've linked below the latest AJPW Tag Title match. The RWTL version of this from December seemed to get a bit more praise but I was much higher on this and it may very well be my favorite tag match of the last few years. Don't be intimidated by the video length as its in the 20-25 minute range. https://rutube.ru/video/3e21b1dacffa703db91ac9d4e622611e/ I thought the RWTL match wasn't that good due to the first half being pretty mediocre, I agree this time they had a better match http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/41228-shuji-ishikawa-suwama-vs-kento-miyahara-yoshitatsu-ajpw-2317-tag-titles-match/ Matt, I can get back in next week if a spot is available

Rematch from the RWTL. I thought this was slightly better, mainly because I actually cared this time around for the first half of the match. This is mostly 20 minutes of bomb throwing. There's not a lot of subtleties in it and the control section from the champs is really short - which is a good thing because I think Yoshi sucks as a FIP - so Kento can get in and pick up the pace. For what they were going for, this was good, wouldn't call it a MOTYC or anything like it but I was entertained throughout.

Man this was incredible. 12 minutes of INTENSE wrestling. No wasted motion, two people wanting to win and doing their everything to get on top. Stiff as fuck in part, some dope fucking counters and a crowd that's really engaged
-
To be honest, I was kinda iffy about the doc after the teaser and trailer. It seemed it was going to be a cool film that didn't have much stuff we didn't already know (similar to the Flair 30 for 30). And with Bill Simmons hyping up Shoemaker as a major player in this, I wasn't that excited. But Simmons had the Masked Man on his podcast on Monday and they completely sold me on it. Shoemaker even admitted his book had mistakes - first time I'm hearing him admit that - and that the director just didn't let anything like that happen in his movie. Seems Andre will truly get the HBO quality treatment.

Man Bloodsport sounds like it's gonna be a incredibly fun. Even if everything goes wrong for some reason, the fuckery of it all would make it glorious anyways.

Wyatt losing a feud or a match on PPV isn't something it would warrant a special reason. Most people were initially shocked he finally got something going last year, before going back to same ol' Bray booking.

New Japan Cup bracket is out 3.9 Elgin vs Ishii Juice Robinson vs Yujiro 3.10 Tanahashi vs Tachi Bad Luck Fale vs Archer 3.11 YOSHI-HASHI vs Ibushi Naito vs Zack Sabre Jr. 3.12 Yano vs Davey Boy Smith Chuckie T. vs SANADA I have no fucking clue why Tana is already back.

Matt, I'm out this week. Got too much going on this week. I'll post the review for Winged Eagle's match as soon as I have time to watch the match.

I love Reigns, but I hope to god the crowd at Mania gives a fuck about the Brock match. Three years ago it was full of boos but it had an atmosphere and they eventually won them over with a dope match. After the last two years and this EC, it seems the crowd just doesn't even bother booing when it comes to a big match from him because they know the outcome and they are tired of it
-
It's still better than BIGLAV? BIGLAV was at least funny.
-
I think this EC has been good enough. No idea why there is so much silence but my god does it hurt the match.
-
Is the crowd spent or are they just dead for this?
-
Snitch Kurt was the best part of that segment

That's why I wanted them facing each other at the Dome, not only is a pretty damn big match for the Japanese audience but it would've put a bow on their promise from years ago of having a match in that scenario, and was a perfect set up for Cody to fuck things up and set up an eventual reunion. The Jericho mini feud and match with Kenny was very good, much better than I anticipated, but I was shocked at how many people were dismissing a potential Golden Lovers clash and how great it could've been storyline wise. Now, I hope this reunion leads to an eventual matchup at WK next year. Even if it's a "friendly" type of match, they need to fulfill their promise dammit.

Never was a Limp Bizkit fan but nothing tops the Mania 17 My Way video promo. Does this one count? -
WingedEagle I'll change the match if watching Benoit is a problem.

Exclusive: WWE Considering Holding Next Draft At PPV Post-Mania As has been reported in the last few hours, WWE recently sent out an e-mail announcing that the upcoming Backlash PPV will feature both RAW and Smackdown Live Superstars. Twitter account @WrestleVotes then went on to report that all WWE PPVs will be duel branded following WrestleMania in order to spice up the cards. From what WrestleZone has been told the idea for the WWE Draft returning at Backlash would be to use it as a way for WWE to jumpstart the all duel brand PPV format going forward. As is the case with everything with WWE nothing is set in stone until it happens. The idea of holding the WWE Draft at Backlash is certainly being discussed and would seem to make sense.

To be fair, Loss has always pushed the idea that Vince is the one behind every good show/run, just as he is the one to blame when shit is horrible.

Thanks. Your match is -- Terry Funk vs. Virgil, NWC 10/7/95 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8shykrinpoY&t=1006s Very few things excite me more in wrestling than watching Terry Funk in something I've never seen before, so thank you for this. That was a wild brawl and fun ass fuck to watch. Commentary was top notch too. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/41126-terry-funk-vs-virgil-nwc-21195/
