Damn good match, heel Liger is always fun to watch and La Sombra was awesome as the young flying babyface, the school boy suplex is a great looking moving and I liked what they did with it in the first and third fall. Liger being bested at every turn near the end and having to cheat to get the W was a great heel move that went accordingly with the story they were telling. Can't say this was special or anything but I can't find much to complain about either, a very good encounter that's worth a watch. Kinda off topic but good lord Lucha commentary is horrible, I've made my dislike for it be known in the past before, even made a thread about, but after more than a year without watching any lucha, this brought back some memories of me trying to watch as much as possible for the GWE project and just wanting to punch something at how distracting it is. Morales is the only one worth a damn and he gets to speak like 3 times the whole match, the crew trying to make a thing about Baby Richard counting slow in the third fall when the dude was counting at the same pace the whole match - and in the final fall too - was really weird,

This lasted more than 20 minutes and I couldn't find 1 wasted motion by both Street or Breaks, that pretty mind blowing. The subtleties used for the match to start escalating were awesome, and so was the grappling, so smart and violent at times. I don't see the "MOTD" praise but this was certainly a fucking great match, could watch these two grapple for an hour and not get bored.

It's been a long, long time since I saw this match for the last time. My taste have changed greatly, and the style I've soured the most is the one Dragon Gate has...but this was still pretty damn great. Blood Generation did a really good job as the heels in this, and made their control sections compelling enough for me to keep myself engaged - a hard task nowadays for matches of this style that go past 20 minutes, like this one - Horiguchi did his thing as the FIP too, I agree he was the standout of the match. I thought this was going to have some spots that would make cringe for being too choreographed, but I was gladly mistaken, CIMA went a little too early a couple of times but it was barely noticeable. All in all, flippy shit at it's best. I'm glad I saw this again, Secret Santo is a blessing.

All Japan has had a nice bounce back since last year but let's hold our horses here. They have a really good core of talent that produces consistently great matches but they aren't even on DDT's level right now (which is probably #3 atm, after Dragon Gate). NOAH is out of the gutter but that's not saying anything to be honest.

Man, I hope this doesn't fuck up the All Japan archive on Google Drive BTW, the CC starts on April 7th and lasts till April 30th. They've been building for a feud I have no interest in watching, Suwama vs Fujita (and Kashin, though given that Shuji Ishikawa will be working in Tokyo for DDT's Judgement show, they'll save a tag match for later maybe?) that will probably be the main attraction for the Saitama show, alongside Kento trying to get the TC back.

So New Japan sold out 5,000 tickets in 20 minutes for their March 25th show in Long Beach. Cody and the Bucks need NJPW to let them have 1 big singles match with two of their stars and the All In show is good for 7 or even 8k with just that, specially because they'll probably be a good number of japanese talent working the show anyway (maybe even a Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks match). I think there's no doubt they are filling that building, only question is if they will need any papering or not.

A legit feel good moment in a big match on the big roster. A big title match fans have been wanting for Mania. I almost forgot how this felt like, fucking awesome.
