Him calling Cesaro a Dutchman was a nice touch too.

If the HOF ceremony is a bust, can WWE do anything to fix things for Sunday?

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)

With Austin confirming his appearance, I wonder if they make him do something else than just a backstage cameo. I think he out pops D-Bry. -
Yup, one of Masked Man's finest pieces

via wrestlinginc Well I'll be damned. Any chance is the complete library or at least a big part of it?

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Jmare007 replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
Read a Ted DiBiase Jr. interview on wrestlinginc and found this very interesting I doubt they actually went 40+ minutes but I'd love to see that match. Always thought Teddy and D-Bry had enough talent to put on a great match but it never really happened - Bryan wasn't very over at the time of that horrible Bella's angle and Teddy was just a blackhole of heat - I wonder if there's a youtube handheld floating around... -

I don't know but I'm glad I didn't get to watch and listen another "this is Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque" kinda promo. -

I agree with this. Hunter demeanor towards Bryan changed a lot after the Rumble. He went full heel, showed ass, put D-Bry over in promos, has bumped like a madman for him. He's clearly trying to prove a point imo. -

Yup, I also think they gonna go HHH/Bryan - Triple Threat back to back. They've trusted Bryan's cardio plenty of times on RAW so they know the guy can go 40-50 minutes and not miss a bit so I'm pretty sure they are trust him on the regard so they can tell the underdog story of being to injured and tired to win the title. -
The HHH video was fucking outstanding. Like I said last week, the fear in the 70,000 people in the Superdome once Hunter hits that pedigree will be tremendous, and the pop Bryan will get when he kicks out is gonna be amazing. I know most of this board hates HHH (I find him overrated but not THAT bad) but I'm amazed how little faith some of you guys have on his match against Bryan. The crowd will be red hot, D-Bry knows how to work as a face in peril and how to mount a comeback, and you can bet your ass he's gonna pull all the stops to have a Wrestlemania classic. Hunter might be mediocre in most long matches but he works way better as a heel and you can tell he wants to elevate Bryan. At the very least I think they'll have a very good match. PS: I'm gonna need a link for that Bryan promo on the Network

Kinda surprised 26 wasn't a consensus great show. It may not have had a real classic (though some consider Michaels vs Taker II to be one) but overall it was the last real great show they've put for their biggest show. It's definitely up there in the top 8-7 for me. Also, kinda off topic. Is the "Google Wrestling" podcast with Rob Naylor and Will coming soon? It was a nice surprise hearing Naylor promote the show during the break.

What did he say about the booking?

So are there any real chances of things going smoothly for Wrestlemania? It seems people are still having problems with the live stream and at this point I don't know if WWE can do anything to avoid problems even if they have a good estimate of how many people will watch Mania live.

It's funny because right when the company supposedly said they couldn't push him because he didn't move numbers he started to move numbers. Now second in merch sold and he's moving the tv needle. It probably was a matter of time after the reactions he was getting but the company seemingly no longer has patience They did start pushing his merch heavy since February though. I don't know if it was a late reaction to the Michigan State stuff or Punk leaving, but it has been very noticeable how they've done a 180° on Bryan when it comes to promoting him. The ratings thing was never a real issue imo. That was just Dave or one of his sources panicking or finding lame reasons to explain why the company booked him so weirdly from November to January. He may not have been a big ratings mover in that period, but he wasn't a bust by any means either.

The Taker/Brock build reminds me of Taker/Michaels WM 26 build. Were Taker kept mocking/owning HBK and then retired him at Mania If they are scared of Taker taking a big bump before the PPV, then don't make him do faceoffs because they are forced to make him look dominant when he doesn't need it.

The fear from 70,000 fans at NOLA (and millions watching at home) when HHH hits that pedigree will be even bigger than when he hit the Tombstone on Taker. Can't wait. Specially for the pop they'll get when Bryan kicks out. -
EC also was the last high priced PPV before the Network. I'm sure a some people didn't want to spend that kinda money with the Network debuting 1 day later.

I still wouldn't rule out Ambrose turning at Mania and joining the Authority. I mean, I don't want it to happen and as weeks pass it seems more unlikely, but it's still a direction I can see them going with. -
The whole Punk/Cena MITB-Summerslam run had great video packages. I also really liked one of the first HHH/Taker videos they did for Mania 28, the week after Hunter said he wanted a HIAC match.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgWClPwrgrY That's a WWE level video package. Makes this whole 8 month journey of Daniel Bryan look epic as fuck.
-
So on SD! The Shield "turned" on Kane and laid him out to end the show. I can see Ambrose selling out to the Authority and setting up a tag team match with Kane against Rollins/Reigns but that would be lackluster as fuck. Maybe they actually go with Ambrose defending the US Title and Harper/Rowan vs Reigns/Rollins?
-
Carlos Colon is the next inductee according to the SD! spoilers.
-
Orton probably gets his rematch the next night on RAW.
-
huh? Him demanding to be added to the title match was what got the biggest reaction from the crowd in that segment. Even bigger than HHH accepting their match at Mania. There was also a weird moment when the fans started a big "Daniel Bryan" chant but the audio was weird. The highjack stuff started lame and corny but ended up being great. Thing is, that should stop now that Bryan got what he wanted. If they keep pushing this "leader of a movement" thing, I think there's gonna be some backlash after Wrestlemania weekend.
